Flash with recovery, but also make sure ur bootloader is unlocked.

May be the file is corrupted . just check md5 to be sure.

I'm having the same problem. I can't boot into OS to turn on debugging or anything and the phone only loads to the oneplus loading screen.

If you are getting the "cannot read" error when sideloading in adb, you can try this handy tool call Large Address Aware (LAA). I was having the same problem on my Win10 Home 64bit system and managed to solve it using LAA.
Just download and unzip LAA to any folder. Run it and modify the adb.exe file. Now try sideloading and the "cannot read" error will be gone. Good luck.
For more details, follow the link

Download LAA (attached)

I will try next time, I had to do the un brick way. Thanks

Download fastboot files from njec21 post(4 post, thanks man for uploading file)
Really Ankurcul was this really necessary? There are many existing guides already for this, all you have done is add laptop in. Hope this does indeed help someone but like I said many existing guides already.
Regards Slymobi.
MANCHESTER together UNITED forever
Mother of all caps lock.
Also, ADB=/= fastboot.
If you instruct them to just download the ADB files, they wont get faatboot along with it.
@slymobi if u search general q&a section half of the noobs generally question about gps issue nad then over and over again we have to tell them what procedure to adopt.
it's just simple to open a single thread so that in future as per you so many threads of just one question can be reduced....
@njec21-bro just calm down....i don't wanna rude with u.....so mind ur words otherwise pm me any comments u want to give....don't make this thread bad for noobs that they won't try this and keep questioning about simple things
I'm didn't mean to be rude, I just think you abused caps lock a bit.
My second point still stand though.
How you're saying it right now is that they just need to download ADB, which doesn't include fastboot.exe, which is needed for your guide.
Link to fastboot:
http://android-roms.googlecode.com/files/fastboot-win32.zip
k...that's was a mistake that i didn't included fastboot and thanks for that njec....
+1 respect man...
You might want to add to the guide that this procedure works only on devices that are S-OFF'ed with Revolutionary or have their bootloaders unlocked with HTCDev. Also, its perfectly usable on Linux as well.
Will try this
I will try and i will press the thanks button, if it works....
---------- Post added at 12:53 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:16 PM ----------
It will be nice if u add the flashing of KERNAL...
You might want to reduce your caps usage, it seems as though you're shouting, and this should go in the general section.
Sent from my Wildfire using Tapatalk 2 Beta-5
thanks 3xeno....
@usaff22-it's not shouting bt just want things clear that person reading it will read carefully.anything wont work will disguise this guide in which there is no point.what problem i faced and what i see in general sections about same gps issues i wrote.
i don't see any point in posting it in q&a section.
@balaedge- i'll look forward to it....same lame excuse college work....

How to root me572c Lollipop

First of all, many thanks for 4pda members.
It's time to post new thread for Lollipop.
This is for Kitkat me572c users.
(I can't make link so just copy the url)
● Lollipop firmware (UL-K007-WW-12.14.1.12) with root
Code:
mega.nz/#!LwJ3VBxK!4V4Ay-RzLS8x609zvyWL8IlcgI3xxfLcSqZ3gZkc52Q
● Install-Recovery.rar
Code:
mega.nz/#!C5ghzL6R!GR0WgLCumy6a429kB0ZjQOMxjPSylz07fVnHtKVm8ng
● ADB Driver
Code:
mega.nz/#!YAlxVbYS!7xfADRLuvcyO1GxRHtre3_e1TaVPmtIykqGbKCzUkkk
1) Can only be set on 4.4.2 (Kitkat). If you have already installed Lolipop, you must first revert to Kitkat. The computer should be installed ADB driver for the tablet and the tablet is turned on for the USB debugging. (no need to backup Internal memory. every data remain. but just in case, back up your data.)
2) Connect powered tablet to the computer. Download the firmware and rename it MOFD_SDUPDATE.zip, copy to the root of the memory card(MicroSd card) of the tablet. Download the archive Install-Recovery.rar and unpack it on your computer.
3) Run Install-Recovery.cmd, after the black command window turns up, volume buttons to select SD Download and power button for confirm. This will start the process of firmware.
Can anyone post instructions (in English hopefully because I'm lingual challenged) on how to revert back to KitKat if you've already upgraded to Lollipop? I didn't think that was possible...
Thanks so much!
I did a rough translation of the steps for downgrading in this thread. I haven't tried it myself, though, so I can't guarantee success.
It worked yes! Thanks! The only problem I have is my navbar icons is still kitkat, so is my wifi icon/battery. I'm just going to get the xposed module I guess and figure out later while it hasn't changed. But woo!
edit: (DOH!) that's what exposed moduel Xstana is for, nevermind the issue about navbar icons and the other icon problems.
You should include this in OP.

I wouldn't try it. The process involves loading ROM images made specifically for the ME572C..
A few questions about this.:
* Is there a way to do this in Linux? I don't own a Windows computer, but I have the full Android SDK installed, including ADB and fastboot.
* Is the Recovery.rar necessary if I am still on Kitkat? I assume this changes out the stock recovery with something else. Is that correct?
* Does this actually unlock the bootloader?
* My tablet is currently running 4.4.2. KVT49L.WW_epad-11.8.3.31-20150126 release-keys
044000309_201407240016. Any problems upgrading from this version?
Thanks
EDIT: Here is a very slightly modified script from the original for Linux. You must have adb and fastboot already installed for this work. These are included in the Android SDK for Linux. Copy and past this into a new file called Install-Recovery.sh and make it executable. You will still need the recovery.img file from the original Install-Recovery.rar archive. I don't think you will need anything else.
THIS IS UNTESTED!
Code:
#!/bin/bash
echo "Waiting for device connection..."
adb wait-for-device
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

I'm using linux tools comes with Intel Phone Flash Lite tool instead of google tools.
https://01.org/android-ia/downloads/intel-phone-flash-tool-lite
adb and fastboot are installed into /usr/lib/phoneflashtoollite/ and changed path for the tools are changed and done manually.
Now I've just succeeded to install LoliPop into my tab after almost 2 days efforts(thank all contributors!!) but I can't reproduce accurate steps in linux(ubuntu) environment.... At least I used windows environment for downgrading from non-rooted 5.01 to 4.4.2...
Good luck !

As I do not need to downgrade, I think my script will work. I just have not had the time to try it. When I do flash this, I will probably just type in the commands manually so I can what is happening easier. I would just really like to know more about this new Recovery before flashing. Is a CWM based recovery or a stock recovery? If stock, what differs in it from the stock recovery currently present on it?
I grabbed the link you sent, but it's a .deb file. I will search for a RPM or just convert this one, as I am using Fedora 21 and CentOS 7 on my two machines.
Thanks

Recovery is not CMW/TWRP, perhaps modified from stock.
Yep, What I did were execute series of command lines manually and crossing my fingers for several times
I'm expecting that will work in RPM based distros.

Android 6.0.1 G920AUCU3CPC2 AT&T Flashing Instructions

Moving this to it's own thread so it's easier to follow the discussion.
Special thanks to s629c for finding the dialer code that led to the download link and Dante087 for finding the download link.
Generic instructions for sideloading OTA package:
Flashing via this method WILL WIPE EVERYTHING SO BACKUP FIRST. Short tutorial (I'm not responsible for anything that goes wrong, but this worked for me):
1) BACKUP
2) Download package (see links farther down in post)
4) Reboot into recovery. Turn off phone and wait a minute for it to completely turn off. Hold down Volume Up + Home + Power until you see a little Android guy. It will say Applying System Update or something like that possibly, and just let it do it's thing until a menu comes up.
5) Select Apply Update from ADB
6) Make sure you have Android Platform Tools on your computer (there's other guides for this)
7) command 'adb sideload <path to downloaded file here>'
8) Wait patiently
9) Phone reboots and will hang at AT&T logo for 5+ minutes. Just wait this out

It probably means either the phone isn't connected or isn't accepting sideload.
Try the command 'adb devices' and post your output from that command.

Some people were reporting that in the other thread. I think the solution was different path (put it directly in C:/), different cable, different USB port, or different computer.

If I remember correctly, another common error also is spaces in the path to the filename.
I think then you have to put the path and file in quotes like "C:\path with spaces\update.zip"

OnePlus 3T Factory Restore Utility

I have the factory restore utility available for the 3T but not sure how to upload it or link to it since it exceeds the allowable upload size limit. It's a 1.2GB 7z file.
Split it up with WinRAR and then upload it to gdrive, Mega, mediafire... The server is up to you!

I've got the file downloaded, unpacked, and am wondering if there's a README that came with it? I can see a lot of the usual ways to use the components via fastboot, etc, but thought this was meant to be a .. "utter disaster recovery tool" ;. Or am I missing something?
Yes, it is and utter disaster recovery tool.
You may need the qualcomm drivers - 64 bit windows driver is attached. I believe mine autoinstalled without needing the files
**** NOTE: This procedure will completely wipe your entire device ****
To use the recovery tool.
1. With the phone turned off, press and hold the volume up button while inserting the USB cable attached to your PC.
2. Windows will recognize the Qualcomm driver and if you're lucky will auto install the driver.
3. Run the MsmDownloadTool V3.0.exe file with administrator privileges (right click and run as administrator)
4. One of the lines in the window should show COMM or something that is not "No Device" when your phone is attached and recognized as the Qualcomm loader
5. Click on that line item, then select Start
6. The whole procedure should take about 5 minutes and the line item will turn green when completed.

You may need the qualcomm drivers. I believe these can be easily found but if not, then I can upload them as well.

No problem.
I've used a very similar tool previously for my oneplus one which would not power up Hopefully I won't need it for my 3T !
Here are the missing Qualcomm 64 bit drivers.
Can we make this a sticky or mention in the OP the recovery procedure from post #5? I know this will become invaluable later on as the few devs that bought this phone start fully getting into test mode.
Delete fixed. Never mind.
You should place this in general with the guides in the op with some pictures , I think many will benefit rather than diving through the QnA section for it
if i restore factory mode.what's the next?

I agree: Over on OP and here, I find myself recommending this guide and software nearly each day to someone that just "bricked" their phone. It's really good. As was just said, sticky it in "Guides" area. Thanks.

I used it without issue on my 3T. Are you still seeing the problem?
I uploaded it on megaNZ but I can't send links in here, so if you want it, send me a message. Btw: Thanks for the torrent, works perfectly!

Yes, but on the original file from the support.
That's correct. I repackaged the files without a password after tech support extracted them via a remote session on my PC. Their archive password was very long with lots of non alpha-numeric characters.

Which adb version do you use?
Type the command: adb version
Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
Is saying 1.0.39
Which OS do you use?
4.1.3 and im triyng to flash open beta 4!
I mean the OS on your PC. Not Andoid which is kinda obvious when someone uses adb.
yep ypu re right kkk, windows 10
Any previous adb versions on your PC. From where did you download it?
just received my new notebook, came from windows 10....downloaded from google new just adb files....
Try this version. Make sure to issue the command "adb kill-server" before you fire up the other version.
Report back, pal.
download minimal adb and fastboot google for it

here you are https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317790
https://dl.google.com/android/repository/platform-tools_r25.0.3-windows.zip
both didnt work, cannot read the file error....
Must be file related then. What's in the zip file?
the open beta 4,downloaded twice from op website!
Probably corrupt update.zip, if not don't update file for your phone (example for 3 instead of 3t).
Ok,after a lot of searching,i found out that my problem was that windows 10 decided to install leeco drivers instead of google adb drivers.
So i remove the leeco drivers following this guide and then Installed Google drivers and successfully worked with adb links that you guys provided,so thank you very much for the help!
Guide by nAFutro on reddit:
A few steps to get rid of the LeMobile pesky driver.
Have the device manager opened "devmgmt.msc". Make sure the LeMobile is visible in the device tree by connecting your phone or tablet.
Open the Command Prompt with Admin privilege. type "pnputil /enum-drivers" This should generate a list, lookup the "Published Name" value of the LeMobile driver, should be something like "oem??.inf" Remember this name.
Use the following command in the Command Prompt with Admin rights: "pnputil /delete-driver oem??.inf /force" Of course oem??.inf should be the name you found in step 2.
Go to the device manager. Right-click on the LeMobile device still shown in the device manager and select "Update Driver Software". Now you can browse to your preferred driver like the one in location "C:\Program Files (x86)\Android\android-sdk\extras\google\usb_driver"
And You're done! Cool thing is that you will have to do it again if you connect a tablet or something new and Microsoft decides the LeMobile driver is better then Googles driver...
