Hi,
I'm facing a really annoying problem in my OP3T. I'm randomly getting flash messages from network. I disabled Channel 50 from message broadcast settings even all broadcast options but nothing worked. Can anybody guide me to disable flash popup messages? Thanks in advance.

I have configured my Tilt to connect to my home Wifi network, and I want to leave Wifi running on the Tilt at all times so that I can just connect automatically when I get home.
However when I do this I get annoying notifications every 2 seconds about wireless access points in my vicinity. Is there any way to disable this notification for all networks?
Thanks.....
Goto Sounds & Notifications. You can disable all notifications for "Wireless network detected" event there.
And be ready to have a dead battery by the time you get home.
There should be an option where it says to not show this message again. On the notification**

Thanks, I tried that. However all notification options ('Display message on screen', 'vibrate', etc.) were already disabled for 'Wireless network detected'. However, I still get the notifications when a new network is detected! gar....
Yes, I think the ignore will only ignore until you toggle wifi again, or will only ignore networks which have alrday been dismissed. Anyone know for sure.
In any case, I too find this annoying use AEB+ to map the wifi on/of toggle to a long press on the Contacts softkey, then it is virtually hassle free to turn it on and off.
Try This
Here is a program i made that fixes this problem for the HTC touch pro, let me know if it works on your device.

I searched the threads and couldn't find anything...
I go into settings, uncheck "Wifi Network Notification" and uncheck "notify me when launching apps, notify me when wifi is available", and it doesn't work. It always notifies me that there is a network available. The icon is perpetually there as long as a connection is available. Please help me fix this.
I'm on ViperOne but i had this issue on stock sense 5.5 as well. It's one of the reasons i rooted, but rooting did not appear to fix it.
Thanks.
I'm having the same problem, though it disappears whenever WiFi is turned off. It is still annoying to have to turn off WiFi whenever I leave my home network in order to avoid getting the notification, despite the fact that there has always been a setting for it...
Is there a fix for this (besides turning off wifi/ rooting and flashing)?
Hi, my Oneplus 3T was working fine until today. I found out that whenever I am on Wifi connection, I cannot send or receive any Whatsapp message, until I switch to data connection, but I didn't change any of the settings. Anyone have a similar issue or any settings I should tweak? I am on stock Oxygen OS 4.1.6.
Have you tried fully removing the account on your phone and then uninstalling the app? This the only app you have issues in regards to WiFi?
Hi everyone, is anyone else experiencing issues sending and receiving text messages with the following parameters? Texts just sit there and say "sending" ultimately failing to send. If WiFi calling is turned off, all is well and there are no issues with texts.
- WiFi calling on
- Connected to a WiFi network
- Texts fail to send
- If you toggle airplane mode, the text will send
- Phone is unlocked (carrier, not bootloader) but is being used on the Verizon network
Thanks!

I have a carrier unlocked 4XL that I'm using on Verizon. I enabled WiFi calling, connected to WiFi, typed a text and it was immediately sent when pressing "send".

Thanks! It works, but it's very unreliable for me. Please keep me updated on whether you have consistent success.
