There are two kind of apn, jionet and one wap something like that. Try both.
U can find apn details of the apn on Google.

Or u can try clean flashing 4.0.2 and see if it works
The ROm SHould Be VOLTE Supported Then only you can use the callling Feature in Jio however my Moto G4+ Is Running Full stock and has volte the voice call was working fine without any app but from last few weeks the calling is not working i think i am not sure since i upgraded to android 7

As you said your phone is from us so maybe it's problem related to LTE band as LTE band in US is different than Indian bands. I have oneplus 3t with jio sim and volte working perfectly fine.

The problem is US Model. Check the bands. As far as I remember US model has different band not supported by Jio. You need to use the Jio Dialer for calling.

I don't think the US version of Oneplus 3T supports VoLTE on Indian bands. Airtel in India uses 2300mHz (FDD Band 30) for 4G services while Jio uses 3 bands, namely - FDD Band 3, FDD Band 5 and TDD band 40. The American variant of Oneplus 3T does not support FDD band 3, which is probably what Jio is using for calling over LTE in India and hence you can not place the call.
EDIT : This is a hardware limitation and I do not think this can be fixed by tinkering around with the software

Hi,
I'm currently living in Israel (i.e. not in the US), and I want to get LTE in my Moto X Pure Edition (XT1095). I am using SIM card from a local carrier (Golan Telecom), and although the carrier provides a LTE service, I couldn't activate it in the phone (the 3G working though). After speaking with a Golan rep, he told me that they are fairly new carrier, and therefore some phones doesn't 'know' that they can have LTE with Golan (it's happens also with LG phones), and they are working with the OEM's to update their firmwares to include Golan in the LTE providers list.
Moto X doesn't has a widespread distribution here, and it's logical that Golan won't make any effort to reach Motorola and enable the LTE on the phone. I want to know what should I need to do in my side (modding the phone and such) to enable LTE in my phone (in other phones I know that there is configuration files which, with a root access, you can change and enabling the connection, I don't know how it works with the Moto X).
Thanks in advance,
It could be as simple as an APN issue. Your carrier should be able to provide you with the correct APN settings for LTE and then you can manually add them under Settings -> More -> Cellular Networks -> Access Point Names.

That the thing, the carrier claims there is no different APN configuration for LTE, it's the same as the 3G configuration, and apparently it's works like that with the other phones.
Therefore, I asked how to mod the phone, or how to do some other tricks to enable the LTE on the phone.
I know this variant sold only in the US, and in Europe you get another variant (the XT1092), so maybe Europeans who use this variant encountered with problems using the phone too.
One possibility: when the XT1095 was launched, I believe the LTE bands available were limited to 2, 4 and 17, which are the main US carrier LTE bands. In the Lollipop upgrade, Motorola included activation of more bands including those used typically in Europe and the Middle East (3,5 and 7). I am assuming Golan Telecom use European band(s) for LTE, so If you don't have Android 5.0 or above, you're still in Android 4.4, upgrading to this version could resolve your problem.

Thank you all for the answers, but I did install the Lollipop update and it didn't bring LTE to the phone.
I know that LG phones have a configuration file, located in the system/app folder. named lteconfigs.apk, which includes list of all the LTE carriers , and supposed to inform the phone that the carrier providing LTE. I don't know, but maybe something like this exist in Motorola phones, and right now my carrier not listed there (just a thought).
Sorry but that lte config file does not exist in our phone.

Currently it supports band 3, and I know the Lollipop update activate the band, so I guess it's supposed to work out of the box.

The Indian LTE is on band 40 across providers. LTE band 3 is also auctioned by government nut service yet to be started on that. Its a hardware radio issue and not something that will get corrected with software OTA.
Its limited to 3g use. I too have the US amazon version and its not possible to use it on 4G.

So I have the A3000 US model of the 3T, which doesn't support LTE band 3. However, while using OOS I was able to get 4G, and a network discovery app said that the phone was using Band 7. On every other rom I've used I haven't been able to get 4g (which would make sense because it doesn't support the band) but how come with OOS I had LTE on band 7? I know that my carrier doesn't support that band either.
Is there a way to force the phone to try connecting to LTE/4G using band 7 or a way to unlock LTE bands on the 3T?
As far as i know the band locking has yet to be implemented, and your carrier might have band 7 transmission, you can check that from frequency check web sites

frequencycheck.com says my carrier uses band 3 and 40, both of which the US model doesn't support. However I'm 100% sure the app I used said it was doing 4G with band 7, and just the fact that I had 4G on OOS proves that I should be able to get 4G on other roms right?

By 4636 code do you mean *#*#4636#*#*? If so when I run that it brings up a page with options specific to my carrier (like purchasing data plans), it's also in my language so I think the carrier just took over that page...
EDIT: I opened the 4636 code window using an app, what specifically am i looking for here?

Hi,
I bought an one plus 3T in india and brought it to US. I'm getting only E not even 3G. When I enquired in T mobile/lyca store, i was told that india unlocked mobile won't support the US bands. Network upgraded. It was big surprise to me. Please suggest me how to unblock additional LTE bands in my 3T mobile.
That's not possible, you should trade your 3t A3003 for a 3t A3000 American band-unlocked model.
Check the specifications for each model under connectivity.

India uses FDD 850, 1800 and TDD 2400. Most of the Europe uses TDD 1800. So you getting LTE in Europe is not a surprise.

Compatibility of phones with the cell networks in the US are a total pain in the you-know-what. We have 4 different major carriers, all using different bands (a little bit of band sharing, but most completely different) for 3G and LTE (GSM is a little more standardized thankfully). Basically, as a general rule if a device not intended/designed to work on US (and depends on which exact US carrier), you are probably going to run into some incompatibilities (no 3G or no LTE, or limited connectivity).

Talk about synchronicity eh? But do the difference in bands give any speed differences, or call clarity? In the blind about these stuff, coming from a country that has only one carrier out of five who is still beta testing VoLTE.

Not an expert, and had to Google that. From what I'm reading, lower frequency (MHz) has better penetration (through buildings, etc.) while higher frequency bands have higher data capacity.
There are steps on how to unlock additional bands. There are like 50 steps. I dont remember where I've seen it but if you google how to unlock bands on OnePlus you will find it. Also try to flash Oxygen OS from US web site which I see no reason to work but just a suggestion lol

There are no steps at all. You cannot "unlock" bands, as they're hardware related. There's no way to switch bands out of the blue.

There are no region specific versions of OxygenOS, so this will do nothing but reflash the latest update.

There are no steps at all. You cannot "unlock" bands, as they're hardware related. There's no way to switch bands out of the blue.

At one time that was true. But for Qualcomm SoCs, the band support stopped being set in hardware (at least for the most part) some 3 years ago with Snapdragon 801 (or maybe earlier, but definitely with 801). Support for all or most bands (might be some exceptions) used worldwide is there, but the specific bands are enabled in firmware.

That said, enabling bands is a long process as noted; and has the risk of resulting in a radio brick. So it's best to buy the correct region version OP3T (which supports the needed bands out of the box) when possible.

Why aren't all bands just enabled by default then? I don't understand why there are different models for different regions.
I have a US OP3T and I'm visiting India. It''s working with Jio in India (although it supports only only of the 3 bands used by Jio) but VoLTE doesn't work for some reason.
