If you're running Oxygen OS 4.0.2, please help me verify that my gps is fine ; dial *#808# and then scroll down to the GPS menu. Tap it and let it run for 30 seconds.. It should popup a "passed" or "failed" message. Let me know what this message is, please.

Im facing big trouble... I was trying to install window mobile 5.0 on my audiovox 6600 and i got stuck in boot loader since i started bootloader.exe on my pda, but i finally installed the window mobile 5.0 and the color screen appeared so i did the setting second and third as yes and the first one as no.
and i pressed mail button. I got wihte screen.. but after that even i wait like 10minute ~ 20 minute it will do noting . according to the text it should get me to color screen automatically but it doesnt. Please help me...

please try a hard reset again... i had the same problem several times, usualy take about 30s if that happens i just a hard reset again.. and it work. hope gonna works on you...

My Diamond always got problem with message, when you goto message, you wish to reply or create new, the phone came out blank white screen w/o anything. Anyone encounter such problem, pls help???

Any chance you're using a custom text input thingy? On my diamond. I have "CE-Star" chinese text input software installed. And when that software expired, the SMS / email screen came out all blank too. There wasn't any error messages etc also. It was just blank. And the text came back when I registered the software.
Or you could just try uninstalling stuff. Maybe it was something you installed. eg. trial s/w ?

Same here, unable to turn ON WiFi. Once clicked it goes OFF, as if it cannot find the link to WiFi (driver/hardware). I tried several ROMs and the problem persists!!!
Before all was working fine, then all of a sudden it stopped !!!

DIAM100 from USA under Hard-SPL 1.93
Tried different ROMs (several RUS, WWE, newest 6.5 beta 1), hard reset, different radios, but with no positive result. WiFi can't be switched on nither from Comm Manager (clicking on WiFi) nor from configuration utility (clicking on the link Turn on wireless LAN).
Please advise how to fix.
Please assist us to find out the problem ... perhaps it is hardware and we need to take it to service center!
Try taking the battery out for 10 mins. It worked for me with a GPS problem, it might work for WiFi.
Let me know what happens, if anything!

Just today I've accomplished battery calibration (full discharge, take out the battery for 10 mins, full charge without turning on the phone, take out the battery for 1 min).
Nothing happened with WiFi. Problem still exists.
Also today I've downloaded official ROM (_HTC Touch Diamond_QMR_RUU_Diamond_HTC_WWE-ME_1.93.456.2_Radio_Signed_Diamond_52.29.25.12_1.00.25.05_Ship.exe) from HTC site using serial number and flashed it to the device. Completely the same problem
well, i seem to be having same problem.. (cannot turn on wifi even after clicking several times on "Turn On Wifi")
i also have another major problem with my Diamond : MicroP error.
MicroP error - also got it from yesterday and no clue what it is. Gotta going to service center now!

I've been having this problem for a few months now. I'm from holland and I already emailed my provider but the told me they can't help me.
So there are a few things happening:
My screen lights up but there's no message coming in. A few minutes (or hours) later I get the message that was supposed to be received at the time it lit up. Sometimes when I go to comm manager and turn the radio on and off or just soft reset the phone, I also receive the texts.
I send/receive messages when I start using the phone, like when you open a menu or something.
Sometimes I keep getting the same texts over and over again from the same person.
I've tried a few different ROMs so that can't be the problem.
Someone told me about flashing a new radio maybe that could do it?
Please help me??

Error !!! Read morningcall"
To give you a background, I actually happened to drop my phone on a very rough and uneven concrete surface, screen-first. This developed cracks on the glass, but everything else was perfectly normal (the touch sensitivity, screen, camera, etc.) so I stopped using the phone and removed the SIM card until I could get the glass replaced. But a few days ago I switched it on (without the SIM card) just to make sure everything was still OK and also turned on the WiFi. I then went into Google Chrome and tried to open google.com, but my phone hung up, so I had to remove the battery and start the phone again, and that is when I started getting this error. Since then I've been getting this error whenever I try to switch on the phone and it does'nt get past that, not even allowing me to switch it off.
There is a lot of important data in the internal storage of which I would like to take a backup before doing anything.
Can someone please help me fix my phone?

One more thing that happened before it hung up is that Whatsapp gave an error saying the date was incorrect and also the Onavo data monitoring app said I used up 325% of 3G my data. Just wanted to mention these in case there are any known bugs related to these.

Can someone please at least help me take a back of my files in the internal storage when the phone is in this condition?
I think you would not be able to make any backup now ( I personally had this morning call problem as well but it was because of some other problems) the only thing that you can do is restart in software update mode and re flash with LG Flash Tool. You can find the thread named under "Rollback to ICS by SnXo.
I hope it can help you and don't forget to thank him for his post.
