Hi guys. For the past 4 hours I've been trying to fix the network error that pops up right when you try to install the software from oculus.
What I've tried so far:
- Reseting my wi-fi
- Enabling all facebook services in settings
- Enabling all oculus apps, clearing cache/data
- Wiping out my phone's cache
- Starting the phone in safe mode
I've serached every single forum for a possible fix and nothing works. Also my phone isn't rooted so I cannot change the CSC.
Nothing seems to work. At this point im contemplating refunding the gear vr, because for some reason it's not compatible with my phone. I have a samsung galaxy S7 SM-G930F. Any help greatly appreciated.

I recently received my my S3 and have been trying to get it to connect to Windows Media Player/Center but have had one problem I can't solve.
I was shown a I9300 S3 connecting to Windows Media Center by simply opening the stock "Video" app, going to the "Nearby Devices" tab and then clicking on the Media Center device however when trying to do so on my I9305 I immediately get the error "Contents location is not available. Check network status and connected device."
I have tried troubleshooting it myself, searching online, searching XDA and reading the manual and any solutions that I try (Force stopping and clearing all data of Allshare apps, changing settings in Windows Media Player, etc.) have not worked.
Can anyone here help me out?
I'm running a Telstra Stock GT-I9305T with Android 4.1.1 with Build number JRO03C.I9305TDVALI6
Thank you.
Maybe do a hard reset or recovery mode wipes, but this just one idea..

Hey guys,
First of all, sorry but I'm a complete newbie with this phone, however I've tried to do the necessary research and I think i've hit a block. First of all, my phone is a SGH-1747 (from the title) Samsung Galaxy s III 4G LTE or just Samsung Galaxy s III LTE which is network unlocked with original carrier being AT&T. I updated the phone to Jelly Bean 4.1.1 via Samsung Kies and everything went smoothly. It was originally my aunt's and I asked her to ship it to me here in Australia. So my current provider is Vodafone Australia and yes I do have a micro sim and can use the phone for almost everything except for the problem that I'm experiencing.
Okay so firstly I thought my problem was that everything I go on google play store via my mobile data (not WIFI), I was unable to update / download certain apps and it would give me a "package file is invalid" error. I've done researched tried clearing cache, cookies, data but nothing seemed to work. I also thought it might be something to do with only unable to download apps that are a certain size, seeing as I could download SOME smaller apps (like google apps updates, but not all) but it got to the point where I tried accessing apps that require an internet connection, and it won't load because of error "not connected to internet or you might be disconnected". At all times I am able to access the internet via internet browser and even search for apps via google play store. I also thought it might be app-related, so i tried different apps, no bingo. I can however download all these apps / updates when I am connected to WIFI at my house, can even access the games. Also thought it might be related to Vodafone not supporting 4G so I tried to change around the network modes but It didn't really make much of a difference... I've also tried factory resetting many times with no bingo.
So now i'm at the point where I don't know what's wrong with it. Do you guys have any ideas? Even vodafone people were unable to find a solution after spending about an hour trying to fix it with them.
This forum is for the i9300, nothing on here will work with your phone
Good afternoon.
I have a att galaxy s6 edge G925a. And I flashed it to the extreme syndicate custom rom using flashfire. Everything seemed to work fine until I started the bluetooth.
It allowed me to pair with one device, and right after that , the message of " settings have stopped" appears. And it won't allow me to scan for more devices or open the bluetooth settings.
I can turn on and off the bluetooth icon. But i cannot acces the scan screen
I have tried to clear the cache of settings and bluetooth apps, I reflashed by the same method.
Any help or suggestions?
Thank you
I have the same problem.
Do you fixed the problem?
Even with WiFi, LTE and Bluetooth enabled not able to update or install new apps using Google play store on watch.
Just says downloaded pending and doesn't download anything. Tried for several days on wifi and off.
Should I reset the watch?
I had the same issue the other day. I tried everything I could but ultimately a reset is what fixed it.
Thanks I reset and it fixed. Now LTE is not working with Verizon.
I just started having this issue. LG Watch Sport with build NQF430. This is kinda ridiculous. Can't update or install anything. I really don't want to reset this thing again.
Anyone else having a problem where a previously working pokemon go+ or go-tcha now fails to connect? I've tried hard reset, unpairing and repairing, closing the app, reinstalling, nothing works. Running g935f on android 7.0
Got them 3 months ago worked amazing, some updates later it really was hard to connect but still worked and now NOTHING. works with my gf's phone however...
Hi there, did you manage to find a workaround yet?
Fixed!
Application manager - > show system (from options) - > Bluetooth - > storage - > clear storage. You'll need to turn your Bluetooth radio back on or do a device reset, but it worked for me!
It's an app related issue. Both iOS and android users have been having close to if not the exact same problem.
