I am currently trying to root my Huawei Honor 4x. I have tried Kingoroot and Kingroot, but neither of them have worked.
Any suggestions?

For me only this instruction worked (Che-L11)

Hi guys,
I have an Honor 4X Che2-L11, of which I thought the bootloader was unlocked properly. A year ago, when I bought the device, there still no official way to unlock the bootloader; thus having me to rely on some kind of tool. Trying to flash recoveries via ADB results in success but then the phone stuck on Honor's logo; until I power-cycle and goes back to stock with root access.

I have an unlocked Honor 5C NEM-L21 running EMUI 5.0 B350. I unlocked it via PC but cannot access it until my new processor arrives. Is there any way to root the device without PC. Again, the bootloader IS unlocked.

Not until you flash the twrp. If you have done already then you can flash the root zip.
I don't need this anymore, already rooted

How did you root your device by TWRP and flashing root zip or any other way?
all these 1 click roots are androidRATS, i personally wouldnt use them ever. theyll install weird chinese apps that you cant be sure are deleted even you delete them.
Yup had the same experience with 1 click roots tried it on my friend device and his FB and WhatsApp got hacked.
I wont Recommend them to any.
Hello, is there any way to root honor 9 lite? I heard there is still no twrp for 9 lite. Is there no other way? I'm new to rooting etc, I've only rooted honor 4x with instruction. I'd be grateful for help

look here in development. We have root and twrp for Honor 9 Lite, work on my phone (country = C432)
use this method, it's easy and recoverable if you get it bricked.

Can it? I don't have access to a pc so I can't really install any of the more complicated ones. And since we're probably not getting Oreo, might as well root my device. I just need confirmation if P9 can be rooted with Kingroot.
For the beginning, without unlocking Bootloader you can't affect Boot partition to get it rooted
you can root huawei p9 with kingroot, if your phone are on b136 or b166, if your phone are on never version, then you cant root it with kingroot!
It only works on marshmallow I think
Maybe you can root MM builds with Kingroot or Kingoroot, but IMO only upon you unlock Bootliader - for which you need fastboot from PC

Told you, this is not old KK or L. You need PC (maybe MAC can do) for Fastboot commands
Btw, take Kiingroot/Kngoroot or whatever and try yourself

Can you give me a link on how to root P9 with a PC? What do I need to do?
Please use Google and search for the corresponding threads/guides on XDA
Read them carefully and if you have furtger questions please ask in the correspondibg threads
