I just got my 3T a few days ago coming from a T-Mobile S7 Edge. I'm no stranger to rooting and tweaking as I've been doing it since 2011. Being able to use CM again is so great, I missed all the features. But Dash Charging is also pretty great. So far I've only flashed a RR ROM (CM based) because I've had great experience with them in the past. I've noticed dash charging isn't in this ROM. Is this the case for all CM based ROMs? Do OOS based ROMs have working dash charging?
Works perfect on cm13
I have no idea what you taking about. I'm using RR and dash charging works just fine.

Yes I get the 60 percent in thirty minutes like it's supposed to be. Maybe it's your setup. I'm using the unofficial RR by soni because it has some extras and still updates every week or twice a week sometimes along with the latest version of ex kernel for lineage based ROMs.

Hi, I have given a tablet to my mum (82) and have it running webOS as she only uses the touchstone to charge and is not good with wires usb's etc.
Most of the rom's I currently use can be finicky on the touchstone and I can't remember which cm9 or 10 used to work flawlessly.
So if anyone is currently using a touchstone and not having any problems could you please tell me what rom to try for her.
Thank you
Edit
Well the Touchstone seems to work fine with both Flintman and Milac KK data media Roms, will probably go for Milac as the home button work's and volume +/- is the same way round as webOS.

i'm still on cm9 (official nightly) and never had any problems with touchstone
(for your reference even your problem is solved already)
I'm using jcsullin's excellent kitkat 3.0 cm11 since this morning. Previously it's been the cm10.1 build from before Christmas. Various builds all the way back to cm7. Never quite at the bleeding edge, as I wait for Bluetooth and camera stability. Touchstone has always worked for me. Since I have it in an official HP cover, I always place it quite carefully in landscape on the touchstone.
Can't believe how well supported we are on this tablet - thanks to all devs for keeping it up there as a great device to use.

I too have also just installed jcsullins CM11 and it is running very nicely.
I agree, I was using JCSullins CM10.1 and now 11 and both worked perfectly with the touchstone. The most finicky part is making sure the TP is correctly centered on the TS. It doesn't seem to self center as well as the phones did.
I've been on milaqs cm11 3.0 kernel for couple weeks now. I have no problems using the touchstone charger as its my primary charger. I previously had milaqs cm10.2 running and also official cm9 with no problems charging with touchstone charger. I've used the hptp recently till it shut its self down at 2% charge. Put it on touchstone charger it showed charging and after about a minute it turn itself on and kept charging to full so it work flawlessly for me.
I too am using JCSullins CM 11 and have no problem with touchstone charging. Agree with the centering so don't use in cramped areas where it is difficult to see
or place.
I am new to the g2. Had it for a little over a week now. Tried a few roms. AOKP, Cyanogen, ect. Searched all over the forums but haven't found an answer. My wireless charger (dt-900) doesn't always work with them. It works fine with the rom that came with my g2 as well as the Mahdi rom, but that's it. My nexus 7 has no issues with the charging plate on any rom.
When I place the g2 on the charger the light on the charger will light up, but the g2 will act like nothing is has happened. If I leave it there for a minute sometimes the g2 will start charging but it's a false positive because when I take it off the charger it will act like it is still charging. At this point it will say it's charging (when its not even on the charger) forever until I reboot. It actually doesn't even reboot from there. I will choose reboot but it just crashes and shuts down.
Is this a known problem? Am I the only one? Is there something I can do to get it working? Appreciate any help.
I get weird wireless charging behavior with my VS980 as well, running hoang81's OmniROM:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2675016
Sometimes I have to reboot for it to recognize that the battery percent level to change after it's been on the phone for a while (sometimes it will even show fully charged after a reboot).
Also have experienced the same behavior you're describing.
I've noticed my VS980 will make subtle electrical noises if it's not position just right on my Nokia charger. But it does charge!

Hmm I have never heard the sounds of electrical noises. That doesn't sound good lol. Well at least I know I'm not alone with this problem. It has to be something in the rom or kernel. Been trying roms quite frequently and Mahdi is the only non lg kitkat rom that seems to have gotten the wireless charging right.
I too have been experiencing problems with wireless charging. I'm using a Nokia Fatboy charger, but have reached the conclusion that it's the phone not the charger. Just recieved the phone les than a week ago and immediately upgraded to 24a. I thought my problems were because of all the Xposed mods that I was doing, but yesterday I cleared battery stats using "battery calibration" app and am now seeing much better (normal) behavior, although I still on the discharge cycle of reseting the stats .bin yet so we'll see... I'll report back in a day or two...

I have a hard time believing clearing the battery stats would fix my issue but at this point I am willing to try anything. Was it a fix for you?

Yeah I tried the liquid build as well. Mahdi is still the only non lg rom that will wireless charge my phone. Glad to know it isn't my phone or something I was doing wrong. Hopefully it will get figured out soon.
I will post back here if another rom gets it right. I would encourage others to do the same :good:
I was going to get an extended battery. Like that 10,000 m one. But I've seen reviews about how fast charging does t work properly with it. Are there any roms that fix this?
Nobody?

Emotion kernel has the zero lemon gauge fix and allows you to setup the charge current. It's available in tw or aosp
Has anyone with N installed confirmed wireless charging is working?
Bought a new N6, immediately put N on it without testing the charging in Marshmallow, so no idea if it's the phone or the charger.
(have tested 5 different QI chargers in my office at this point and just purchased a CHOETECH pad which others say works well with the N6, still nothing)

Is it even working on the beta of android N? You have to remember that not everything will be working in that build.

Hence me asking
(This is my 3rd beta OS), I just wanted to see if any others had tried it. As you say, I hope that it's just not implemented yet. Seeing the 5X and 6P don't even support it, you'd suspect it'd be low on the priority list if it is in fact not yet in the beta

Your best bet would be to try getting it to work while running a logcat. Ill be honest most of the developers are not running it so if it is broken then there wont be a fix until N releases.
It wouldnt surprise me that it might be missing some of the OEM stuff like this.
Wireless charging working just fine on my N6 running Android N with a cheap as chips eBay Qi pad.
works fine on N, as mu n6 charges. you have to be careful how you place it a little lower than than the dimple on the back for it to charge.
Confirm works on n dp2 no problems

Cheers all, sounds like a bummed phone then!
RN11 charger is 33 watt. But the charging speed of crdroid is 10watt. Any solution?
Is there any custom ROM that support it?
charging is a hardware function.
every rom supports fast charging
Mod. edit: watch your language. alecxs
Maybe the 33 watt doesn't work, but regular quickcharge @ 18 watts works (at least for me on a few aftermarket chargers) and is more than enough. Think about what's better for your battery long term.

I get 15-18 watt on crdroid with original charger. It takes 15-20 minutes more than stock ROM.

That sounds about right. There is one magisk module floating around here, I don't use it so I don't know how good /safe it is, but you can try it out if you really need full speed.

in crdroid if fast charging works but only with the screen off with the screen on it will be slower due to the health of your battery and overheating
I use some chinese Magisk Module, it works pretty well.

This is incorrect. Higher end chargers (probably most quick chargers have it nowadays) can adjust and regulate their voltage and current so they don't break your phone. To do that, both sides have to communicate with each other.
If your ROM doesn't have that capability, the charger will just give you normal charge
This is the module I use. For me using the in-box 33W brick charges at about 23W, so I think it's okay.
EDIT:
I don't remember where I downloaded this from, but somewhere on this forum.

Hi! Actually I am the creator of the module you're using!
I just bought Redmi Note 11 as it's one of the cheapest Xiaomi 33W phone. I might resume my development and update a better version soon! Stay tune.
:btw I'm Malaysian Chinese with but apparently my development went viral in China >.<
Wlll it support full 33W?
Try flash this magisk mod
. Redmi Note 11 не работает радио.
