read in another thread about people talking about national feelings and patriotism and the likes
i never really understod the concept at all
when the country i live in win at sports, win a war (been 1k years )
invent a timemachine break guiness record of standing on ones head
i really dont get how it should reflect on me for better or worse
i never contributed to any of it apart from being born a surden place
i fail to see how i could take pride in any of it
sure i vote and i agree and is happy about some aspects on the system of where i live but i'm 1 in 5million
i can only really take any pride in things I do myself
maybe it's kinda like religion with feeling strengh in feeling one is a part of something bigger then oneself
who knows
but in the grand sceme of things i believe that nationalism have caused more wars in the history then religion
where religion have just been used as an excuse alot more
Group Identity mate. It sucks. Same reason people go crazy over a stupid football team.
If people thought for themselves and had a little personal accountability this world would be very different.
I agree. people forget that our phsycology is also an artifact of evolution. after all, as a group we are very successful.
the culture here pays lip service to patriotism but it seems to me that in countries like America people genuinely feel that patriotism. Propogander/media must play a big roll in this behavior.
nothing wrong with patriotism. but it tends to go overboard. nationalism does cause conflict but it also gives people a sense of belonging.

my dad gave me a great sense of practicality. his philosophy is: there are really no losers in sports except the fan. both teams, both players on both sides are millionaires. when they lose a game they don't kill themselves. when the season is over they go home to a mansion. the only loser is the fan who thinks life is over after their team lost.
At 14 years old and 6'9'', Elisany Silva is the tallest teenager in the world. Her height hasn't come without problems--she had to leave school and her parents don't have enough money to determine the cause of or treat her inordinate growth. But Elisany wants to make the best of her size, her runway debut explaining that she is interested in modeling. She will reportedly be making her runway debut at a bridal fashion show in Belem, Brazil.
Wouldn't that be an interesting romp in the park.....
of age of course.........
good day.
1 word ... na'vi ?
woooooo ahaha soulja ^^^^
I could see her as a modle, she is fairly pretty (how do i say that without being a creep? Im only 4 years older than her haha)
But 6'7? thats just strange.
This video might affect android user (G1) in a negative way....he's like 4'ft tall and almost the same age. You people are cruel

Now i feel short and i'm 6'2" @ almost 19yo
lol,
I think she looks hot. She could be a good model.
This for discussion on theories that you may have, my favorite is this theory:
Spoiler
The Rugrats really were a figment of Angelica's Demonic and Unimaginable imagination.
Chuckie died in 1997 along with his mother, that's why Chaz is a nervous wreck all the time.
Tommy was born in 2000, but he was a stillborn, that's why Stu is constantly in the basement making toys for the son who never had a chance to live.
The DeVilles had an abortion in 2001, Angelica couldn't figure whether it would be a boy or a girl thus creating the twins.
As for "All Grown Up" the teenage Angelica became addicted to various narcotics which further aggravated her Schizophrenia, bringing her back to her childhood and thus her creations she obsessed over, because of time lapse between the present and the last time she interacted with her creations, she made them older. Angelica was constantly taking hits of acid, so she would never have to live without her creations who were her only company. In a judgemental world, Angelica's mom actually died of a heroine overdose in 1982 just after Angelica was born, and Drew in his depression married a gold digging whore that Angelica idolized because she fooled herself into thinking it was her real mom but always had a concept of her mom, Cynthia, and took a barbie doll and made it after her mom's image, wearing an unwashed orange dress and having jacked up hair, which is why she was so attached to it. Later in life she followed in her mom's footsteps with drugs and everything, dying of overdose at age 15 when All Grown Up! was "cancelled".
The only rugrat not to be fictional however, was unborn Tommy's brother Dil, whom was born in 2002. However, Angelica didn't know the difference between Dil and her creations, although Dil didn't follow her commands. One day in 2005, after endless crying and a refusal to disappear like the others did when Angelica was angry with them, she hit him. Due to this, he sustained a brain hemorrhage, which resulted in a deformation. As he grew up, his damage only became more evident and by the time he was 11 in "All Grown Up!" he lived as an outcast, being ridiculed for his weirdness and retardation. The immense guilt over this is what led Angelica to her drug use and is what led Angelica to un-create the Rugrats briefly, until her experience with hallucinogenics.
On a trip to Paris to find love, Chaz married a woman named Kira (He was actually going to marry a different woman named Coco, but she just wanted him for his money.) who had a daughter named Kimi that was torn from her because she was a cocaine addict (Angelica imagined her from Kira's stories). He lost his mind after the death of his wife and was in denial that she was ever prostitute. Upon return to America, Chaz and Kira married and she got her greencard. It was actually a really happy and romantic story. Kira continually stuggled with addiction, but was relatively happy with her life and Chaz
Suzie was actually Angelica's only friend, who entertained the thought of Angelica's creations, for her sake. Angelica spent the last days of her life in the back of the school cafeteria, imagining friends around her and playing with the lives of her creations.

You should all look at this AJ Lee's "Bombshell" here and if you had been a fan of wrestling you should know that her's and CM Punk similarities are not just that they are in real-life couple.
They made a point where Wrestling isn't what it is used to be and I have to agree with that in terms that WWE since 2000's had been getting away from physical action, to stars that can sell a story on which Vince McMahon calls it Sport Entertainment, but since a few years ago, the tast has become that instead of a wrestling promotion, it has been converted to a circus.
Really unfortunate and this is coming from a guy that since early childhood had seend the hardcore side of the Bushwalkers know in that gimmick as the New Zealand Shepherds for taking a example.
I guess that to stand my point, look to all 80 to mid 90's video library and not just from WWE, look at least WCW, ECW and a few NWA's and you should see my point.

I am presently retired after 24 years as an Administrative Assistant for a property management company.
Cutbacks caught me 3 yrs before official retirement. Just the way it is, the technology changes so fast the kids
know the computer like we knew longhand division. But, I am enjoying my family. And my husband has a few
more years. And this is the time to enjoy the family and travel. Camp and fishing, etc. Thank you for the opportunity
to hopefully find some help. My son told me "Mom, you raised us by yourself and for that. Here is your phone with
a cover with "You are my sunshine" picked out by my grandkids. The song they still sing with me.
" We don't want you to think about paying for your phone, ever." I was very moved.
They realize times were tight, but I have 2 wonderful and successful sons, that I am so proud of.
And four (4) wonderful grandkids Harley she is 16- Wesslee he is 14.
And my younger son has 3-year-old twins a boy and a girl. Quade and Olivia. So I enjoy the best of both worlds. Sports, etc,
and then babies all over again. Life is wonderful. In the middle of all that I found a Very good man. Neither of us was EVER going to marry again.
And that was 16 yrs ago. He is my daughter-in-law's Uncle. Now I am not so mad about my phone but I hope for some help somewhere.
