I have a Galaxy Tab S2 from two weeks. I have tried Samsung and LineageOS ROMs, the latest and one older for each. All the times with full reset.
Without any modification (root, kernel of other...) my tablet have sudently black screen with all ROMs, I use it and sometimes the screen become black.
The lighted button close the home became illuminated few second each times I tried to wake-up the device, but the screen keep with black screen.
Only one solutuion: reboot-it with buttons combinaison.
Do you have an idea ?
Actually I'm on one older Samy ROM without the issue from two days, but the device are not really be used....
EDIT: No problem with my new one.

Hey guys
I have my note for around 3 weeks now. I experience the purple screen twice.
so basically out of no where, the screen will turn really purple like. but the problem is fixed after i restart the phone.
not super concern about it, but just want to know if this is a bad sign that the phone will die on me?

Ive had this experience on my Galaxy S1 and S2 I get a quick flash of either green or red color then everything is back to normal.. happend once or twice on my Galaxy S1 for owning it for a year and maybe more than 3 times on the S2 for 3 months.
It's a software bug, and i guess it'll get patched sooner or later by Samsung, but no i do not have any problems with the screen.
I've had it once Was more blueish tho. Just turned the screen off and on again (IT Crowd ) and it worked just fine after (I freaked out at the time tho).
Only once. Screen turned blueish upon waking up of device.
Yes, it happened to me too. Turned blueish when turned on but returned to original when hitting the power button. Thank god it's a software bug rather than hardware.
Hi All,
Actually I bought a new Note-GTN7000 but later after four day's I've noticed that there is a tiny green dot appearing on the not exactly but middle of the OLED. It is not a dead pixel as it appears on a dark background only like when we go to the settings menu(Dark Background) & it disappears when I switch of my handset.
Could be a pixel stuck.
Q!: Is there a way to take it off.
Q2: Tried different apps like JscreenFix and pixel fixer for about an hour or two continuously but didn't work out.
Any other possible way from any body???
Please help.
I once had a stuck pixel on tytn 2 and this is what I did:
Hold your finger or "closed" pen on a pixel(so you'll know where it is)
Turn off your screen
Press the spot on the screen very hard
Turn on the screen
This procedure helped me to "unstuck" the pixel. I cant guarantee that it will work om amoled but I think it is worth to try

Pushing the spot hard and Switching the display on, Heating up the screen works for LCD Screens. Not LED.
Don't try these silly steps posted everywhere, You might end up permanently damaging your screen.
The only solution to this is, Stop looking at it. I have a stuck pixel on lower left corner as well. They don't spread nor hurt anything. In fact its so tiny that You wont notice it until you continuously focus your eyes on it. In a couple of days you will forget that It's their.
For LCD Monitors back in the days - Samsung only replaced Monitors with new ones if "only" they had Five or more dead pixels. If you have one , or two you're stuck with that for good. #yearsago
Hello guys. I have a problem, earlier im just downloading facebook app for wp8 and suddenly my ativ s goes blank screen and then becomes pink. Dont know what to do. Pls. Help me ?
Have you tried rebooting the phone? Press and hold the Power button for ~15 seconds if the power-off option doesn't appear as normal after ~4 seconds, or just pull the battery.

Does it go through any of the normal bootup screens before turning pink like that? If not, it's almost certainly a hardware issue, though I would suggest trying a hard reset before sending it in for repair.
When doing soft reset, there is no blue windows start up screen. A blurred pink screen den after few seconds becomes full pink screen., its quite abnormal coz i have 2 facebook app downloaded, the first one is the official fb app from microsoft and the other one is facebook beta which i thought have significant updates. Then afterwhich i check both, there's no significant changes, so i decided to uninstall the beta one, then after few seconds, it just become pink screen.. 😢
This sounds like a hardware failure and is not related to any app updates or removals (that was just a coincidence). I don't know what the screen technology is on the ativ but if it is OLED and the red/blue are stuck on, you will see "pink" (actually magenta).
Like pretty much all Samsung phones, the ATIV S does use AMOLED. I'm guessing it's a hardware issue indeed. Given the way the OS works, it is essentially impossible that the app installations could have caused a problem like this.

Hey everyone, I have a samsung tab 3 7.0 and the screen this morning would not illuminate. I can faintly see the time and home screen and it responds to touch and I can hear sound however you can barely see it at all. Opened the back and there are no lose cables from what I can tell (removed and re attached all ribbons). Seems like there is no backlight.
Any ideas?

I am on my second Note 5 and the current one still has lag issues.
Many times i try to unlock the phone and the buttons are unresponsive.
All of a sudden the screen will fly along activating the button presses where before it was frozen.
I have tried factory reset, uninstalling Nova Launcher, changed phone cases, taken off hardened screen protector and the lag still happens.
I have tried turning off windows animation scale and that did not fix the issue.
Any ideas how i can fix this please before my 14 elf period?
The phone is on 5.1.1 and baseband is N920IDVU2AOJ3.
