Current WhatsApp CAB

Hey guys,
i am looking for a current version of the windows phone version of WhatsApp.
I could not find anything via Google or on XDA, so I would appreciate if someone could pull the whatsapp cab or xap file from his windows phone and make it available here.

i couldnt find it on marketplace. Is it true that it only works on wp7.5 and there's nothing on their website that says its on marketplace

Sorry to bump into this old thread .. but could some1 please upload v2.0.0.0 Xap ...
Reason being that WhatsApp is showing Incompatible on all custom roms i install on samsung focus ....
Cant install from Marketplace please some1 help me out.
I got v1.1 wud hav been better if i get v2.0

No...this is the older version...the newer version seems to be more buggy and ppl want to revert to the old one.

Tried ver 2.0 and 2.8
Ver 2.0 works faster and better.
but does not have a background agent registered .

I tried to download whatsapp xap using Phone7Market today. It downloaded the file succesfully, but something seems to have changed, I can not open the file as a zip file any longer, not using 7zip, not by changing the file-ending...
Did Microsoft change to encrypted apps yet?
Don't they need to update the devices to do that?

Direct download from apps.marketplace.windowsphone.com doesn't download xap file but some strange html file...

Yes and yes.
Microsoft enabled PlayReady on all XAPs from the market now, they're encrypted. They did update the devices for this - Mango added support for PlayReady. So far it was just not turned on in their server side.

looks like Neonode N2 has "Windows Mobile 5.0" not "Windows Phone" OS.
you could check this link "whatsapp.com/dl"
perhaps the whatsapp.com will advice smth.

so i have a couple of queries
is rooting still working with lg esteem method for gb(i used it for froyo) and if yes i want links and how too
i am comfortable with flashing a custom rom via smart flash tool so give a link to valid file(i downloaded a file from other thread it said it was 200 something mb but the download completed at 168 mb and file was corrupted, so a valid file or a link
any other method___________________________
my reason for rooting
1 phone over heating
2 too much sh*tstone apps into the stock rom
3 custom roms for ics etc
4 over clocking
5 super user access(MEH!!!!)
6 some awesome plugins like beats audio etc
AND I PLZ SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can understand that forum got a bit clumpsy to look for desired informaion, but it was not so much hard. Here you go :-
1. Download PATCHED_BIN_LGP970-V20b-CIS-MAR-05-2012-by-Snegovik.7z(http://www.getzilla.net/files/3111935/patched_bin_lgp970_v20b_cis_mar_05_2012_by_snegovik.7z.html) and extract it somewhere in root of C or anywhere of your computer.
2. Download SmartFlashTool_External.rar(http://www.mediafire.com/?eia8r5bgid97ejq) and extract it somewhere in root of C or anywhere of your computer.
3. Download Superuser.zip (http://www.mediafire.com/?a1re78800owv3aj) and copy it in root of your SD-cart!! DO NOT EXTRACT!!
4. Download and install LG_Drivers (http://www.mediafire.com/?3344hoszoczbt6q)
5. Power-off LG Optimus Black
6. Press and Hold Volume + Button and insert your USB cable.
7. You'll Enter to Upgrade mode and see S/W upgrade please wait while upgrading
8. Run B_SmartFlashTool_Extern.exe
9. Choose ROM copy D/L bookmark
10. Choose CP file: [PATCHED]V20B_CIS.bin
11. Choose AP file: V20B_DEU.fls
12. Click Start
Go to WC or make coffe or tea , or do whatewer you need , Do not stay near your computer
13. After successfully flashing
phone will reboot recovery
14. Wipe all data/factiry reset
15. Flash Superuser.zip
16. Reboot system now

After this your mobile should reboot and you will be with 2.3 Vb with super user.

Warning : you may brick your mobile but I rooted mymobile like this so its safe if you follow instructions carefully.

I Dont like the interface of many out of box android roms i just love my optimus ui.. and i have never used a motorola ui (cant remember what its called?!!!)
So is there a rom like motorola for optimus or touch wiz w/ ics?? Would Really love it!!! Other than that what are the substitutes,,
i used cyanogen's gb rom (cm 7 maybe)
I was left with a blunt rom with nothing really hated it..
So if a add a lg home launcher apk into the zeus rom and delete the zeus one will it work... as i said optimus ui has some great feature like catagories and looks

theres no official ROM because there hasn't been a need for Samsung to release one and because very few people have this device which is an amazing device, its not been leaked either
Tell me, what do you mean by you have installed a custom ROM 8779? that OS version isn't available to us, we have only 8773 from MS
To my knowledge There are no custom ROMs, there are no official ones, there are no OS dumps, there is no access to use the download mode, or change the bootloader, there is however limited access to the diagnostic mode, parts of the EFS, parts of the RAM and several other low level areas of the device outside of the OS

yes, its my focus s , i bought it on taobao(a famous Shopping website in china )
its with custom rom(8779) when i got it.
you know some developers made the custom roms for sale(maybe just in our country)
i cant get the rom , they wont share them
i cant upgrade my phone too (the wp 7.8)
so i want to rollback
the other way to upgrade my phone is send my phone to the dev
my English is poor, maybe there are some mistakes. i hope you can know what i say

very interesting, and your English is fine
there are three possibilities
1, Its faked, its so easy to change that info screen
2, its real but they didn't install a custom ROM, they have gained access to the 7889 CAB files and updated the OS manually
3, its real and they updated the ROM somehow
if you would mine could you try and dump the ROM, using QPST Here
its not easy to use and don't ever hit any buttons marked "write" if you want to help ill type up instructions, but essentially you need to make sure the SPC is correct, then download this, then put your phone in to diagnostic mode using the diagnostic tool, add the COM port to QPST and connect to the phone, click start clients, then software download, click multi image, then fill in where you want it and click start, your phone should restart in to a download mode and after that I don't know what will happen, to get out of the download mode you just unplug and hold the power button until it turns off.
ill write a more detailed guide if you want to help

To stop the Demo demonstrations, you have to install ROOT WP7 TOOLS.

Then in explorer you have to go to the Startup folder (windows\StartUp) you have to create a new folder and copy all files except RetailDemoService.lnk.
Then in Registry, you have to go to shortcuts folder (Local Machine\System\Explorer\Shell Folders) and change the StartUp file, change the value data from \Windows\StartUp\ to \Windows\StartUp\new\.
After this restart the device.

Hey Dazza, I wish you guys the best in finding a way to develop a custom rom. I myself am trying to help get custom roms for my Dell Venue Pro. Anyways, I have this Samsung Focas S that has a demo and I want to disable it as of Ricardox6 instructions. I just did the windowsbreak, but I want to know do I install now that XAP Deployer or can I just jump straight to the wp7 root tool?

which leads into the situation that I cant
update to official V20A through LG Mobile Support Tool :silly:

but I think it would be way easier if they would be right here
in the original android development section as downloads

One last question: If I make a backup through Orange Backup
and then officially unlock the device, am I able to get back all of my
data partition on the official V20A with unlocked bootloader?

Its enough to use the LG Backup that you have installed on the phone.
Off course some apps, like Navigon, RealRacing3 or others like that that you might have, will need to download data again in order to work again but,
most part of the apps will be working. Also contacts, messages, etc... check the options on the "Backup".

[TUTORIAL] PROPERLY Flashing Resurrection Remix N on Asus ZE601KL (Z00T)

I'm not the ROM Creator or Developer
I'm just sharing how I successfully installed RR N on my ZE601KL
I put strain on ZE601KL cause it was difficult to find proper help and instructions and I kept facing some or the other issues for some time
The major problem I faced was Speaker not working and I got it fixed permanently by flashing ROM with proper procedure

1. Initially I was on Stock Asus ROM (WW-21.40.1220.1998)
2. Then I unlocked bootloader using Official Unlock App
3. Then flashed latest TWRP-Z00T
4. Advanced Wipe : System, Data, Cache, Dalvik-Cache
5. Install RR N zip + BeanGapps + Speaker Fix (All together)
6. Wipe Dalvik-Cache and Reboot

Because i'm googling everywhere i know, i can't find a person who success to unlock bootloader a ZE601KL, using official unlock app.
Even in some sites, our device is listed among unsupported device for official unlock app..

Yes bro, I've unlocked ZE601KL using Official App but i dont have device now
I'm busy with college and all
but as i remember there was some difficulty in this method but i did it somehow

Hi mate. I just did, yesterday, but it wasn't easy. I guess it was just cause I'm a troll, regarding development and proper use of the resources the comunity shares here.
Seems to me that it was worse cause I wasn't used to work with adb, and my device was unusable. But as soon as I got the apk in the phone and got it to work, I think I had to start the apk a few times cause of some error, but in the end it got to work. Maybe you should try again, it doesn't seem that difficult to me now, after all the trouble. Get the apk on your phone and run it from there.
I was just looking now, and the one that's said to be appropriate for ze601kl [release_UnlockApp_1211.apk] wasn't the one that did it for me. The one that worked was supposed to work with Z00L, I think [UnlockTool_ASUS_AndroidM20160928_Singed.apk].
Anyway, unlocking the bootloader doesn't give you root acces directly. I don't really understand how root access seems to work these days, apparently you need to flash some patch (after unlocking bootloader) and then you can give access to apps. I don't really understand, it was different a few years ago. It was nice to go on playstore and get a free app to give you access without any trouble. Not anymore.
