I read this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=6399061&postcount=3546
It says that you should get 100%, then turn it off and wait until it is green. After this, wipe the battery stats or use the adb command. Then, let the battery die after normal use, and after recharge..
My question is, can anyone recommend some battery killing apps that will do the job?
Thanks in advance!

i think you answered your own question
That public embarrassment was not necessary. *sarcasm*
Yeah, but isn't using an application considered normal?
sorry, anyway, I used pandora overnight that worked pretty well. with pandora you can lock the screen on also that helps out.
I could be wrong but I thought that the way Lithium batteries worked makes this kind of calibration useless??

This dueling argument will go on for centuries. I wish a battery manufacturer would step up and release some white pages to say one way or another.
I don't think it is so much calibrating the battery, but calibrating the phone to the high and low points of the battery. Older battery types required conditioning, not calibrating.

Bingo! Having three batteries (2 after-market TouchPro 2 and the OEM), I even have a performance difference between the two types. I've since set the OEM battery on a shelf and only use the TP2 batteries, as they are identical. I haven't had a battery issue since calibrating using one of them.
For those who owned this phone, how's battery life so far for you?

It's super amoled and can drain battery but not so much. Because you have so bad score i guess you works on android 2.3.3? Try to update to 2.3.6, the bettery works much longer on sleep and i think in stress it will be too good.
It could be your rom some how... but how about charge your battery to full, then go to recovery and wipe battery stats. Carry on charging for another 30 mins. Maybe that will fix it.

I'm on ICS Roms these days but on like every rom its a drain. I did go back to 2.3.6 but i like ics so much more i more likely stay on ics.

same issue & question here.
kernel : kowalski#100p3
rom : cm-10-20130208-UNOFFICIAL-p990 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2058231)
EDIT :
I'll reply to my own question... see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=38113343&postcount=2415
Seems the wake lock is only happening when USB is connected, so there's no battery drain.

read the thread. This wakelock doesn't affect battery life.
Hey
I come from LG Optimus 4X HD and I have same wakelock.
I think it doesn't affect battery life but it will affect battery lifetime, because it's constantly charging battery.

possibly... but we still absolutely _need_ this wakelock to keep our phone from going into deep sleep when on USB.
Dunno about you, but I will gladly sacrifice some battery lifetime in exchange for a phone that will not BSOD when charging. So what if the battery dies a month sooner...
But this wakelock happens on AC power supply not on USB?! So this is or used to be our kernel problem.

I use spleef's Carbon 4.3, and have Battery Doctor for my saver app (customized settings) and I've gotten 54 hours active use with that combo!
Usually it runs between 36-48 based on the amount of time I have WiFi on, and game playing cuts a few hours off. Battery Doctor, regardless of ROM, has consistently DOUBLED my battery life... honest, I love it. :victory:
