I am a student and I have a project to create a app for reservation . My question is how to show the data according to my database.
Like a student login his account and how to show his profile information according to the database.
Is there any coding to add it to scrape the data from the database and show it on my application?
And I use the SQLiteDatabase for my database.
please some body help me... Thank you
Divide your work into steps, that is:
1. If you are keeping a database in a website then there should be a piece of code on the website which takes requests in form of username and password, and returns the data.
2. If you can't do this but the data is on the internet then the unsafe way would be to download the whole database and then authenticate and search using client side code (security experts will want to murder you, though).
3. If you are going to populate the data from scratch only using your application, then Firebase by Google is a good and free solution for student level apps. Here you can have the data on Google's servers and request the data using user-password authentication. This is very safe method.
If you decide to use Sql, the typical unsafe query would be similar to querying using WHERE command wherein the parameters are username and password. But that should only be done on your website, and not on the client.

If you are interested in using Exchange 2007 for your mobile device, I have one available. It is for my consulting business and I am only using 1 of the 100 CAL's that are installed. For a small donation, I will let honest people use it. I would require the following info.
First Name:
Last Name or Initial:
E-Mail address requested: [email protected]
Alias: [email protected]
Password: (must contain letters, numbers and special characters)
The server itself is in a datacenter with reduntant power and network.
It has a UCC cert and autodiscover services are working perfect.
Since I use it for my business the uptime will be in at least the 4 nines.
Just send me a PM if interested.
While this sounds great, there are some concerns that I would have as outlined below. None of this is personal btw.
a.) Backups, how would this be handled
b.) Security, how do I know as an admin your not attaching to mailboxes or journaling them and reading through private information?
c.) Anti Virus, how is the server protected to keep my data safe
d.) Anti Spam, this is easy since you can implement the built in Anti Spam services on a Hub Transport server. However how would an end user control this?
e.) SSL Certificate is cheap through Go Daddy, you could offset this cost with your user donations. That way there is no need to import an self signed cert.
f.) Up time, where is the server located? in a Data Center or your garage?
g.) domains, would you support users as [email protected] or would you allow users to point their MX records at your IP while adding smtp aliases to the AD user accounts?
I'm sure there are others, and again this is in no way a personal attack as I think offering this for little cost is a very nice thing to offer. It however could wind up being a hand full if enough users decide to accept.

I am thinking about opening up my exchange 2007 server to users here that would be interested in the service. after trying places like mail2web and other types of hosting services, i realized i could do the same thing for myself and have total control. trouble is, now i have this massive server to sync my device all by itself...
if anyone would be insterested in syncing with an exchange 2007 server, let me know. I wanted to get some initial feedback from users to see if it was even worth it.
I was thinking of a donation type system to offset the licensing cost...(which i get for dirt cheap since I can piggy back off one of major customers...it is about $16 per user...)
i could offer active sync, rpc over http and owa...
i do not want to buy a third party cert, so my microsoft issued cert would need to be installed on your device (it means you have to double click on a .cer file)
i did not configure autodiscovery services, so rpc over http would need to be configured manually. (very simple)
i could also offer outlook 2007 for a very small fee (since i did not configure rpc over http for outlook 2003 use)
just send me an email and tell me if you are interested. I am thinking if I get enough people, i will open it up for the great people here at xda forums..

all very good questions and i will answer them as best as possible.
a.) the backups are handled at the disk layer, they are mirrored. If corruption would occur, the server would get rebuilt. as a very cheap service offering, you get what you pay for. That said, since i personally use this server and my customers contact me via it, if it goes down, i may not get paid. therefore, its availbilty is very important.
b.) you don't, but i won't
c.) trend micro does it on the server, your desktop client would do the rest.
d.) the exchange server spam level is set to level 5. I have never had a false postitive
e.) there is a UCC cert.
f.) datacenter. also, see answer a. uptime = pay to me.
g.) i would allow default from address to be what ever you wanted. i will not host your personal domain. That is another type of service i am not offering.
i have now installed a UCC cert and autodiscovery is working perfectly.
anyone insterested just send me the following info;
First Name:
Last Name or Initial:
E-Mail address requested: [email protected]
Alias: [email protected]
Password: (must contain letters, numbers and special characters)
I only ask for a small donation. anything helps. thanks.
You could also try www.nuevasync.com with Google Calendar / Contacts, and use IMAP for email. It's isn't push, but works pretty well nonetheless. Plus, you don't have to administer it yourself.

What you do is contact them and sort it out.
Happened to me even though it was a false alarm.
These kind of mails are being send daily by scammers.
It is a known technique called fishing.
NEVER, and I mean NEVER click on a link to your bank/paypal/ebay/etc from an email certainly when it is a message like this.
account suspended, or even a false "you have bought item blabla", all these messages where designed to make the reader be concerned regarding their account, and thus follow the link and logging into a fake site.
Typing the address manually is always the safest bet.
Use one e-mail specific only for banking business like paypal, and for nothing else (not for forums etc..), never publish it on the web.
(what is unknown can not be spammed or scammed)

i knew the path of credentials
I wanna know how to work exactly with credentials
for example;
credential 1 >> is for A
credential 2 >> is for B
so if i clear "credential 2" B will change and ..............
I don't understand what your question is. Please try to explain a little more.
In case you ask what different "device administrators" do, that's up to the programmer of the app requesting the device administrator. My companys exchange server requests several rights, for example lock screen security, remote wipe ability etc. As long as this device administrator exists, I have to grant/do what it wants.
If there are several apps putting device administrators in place, you have to comply with ALL rules of ALL administrators. Example: if app A) wants pin or password and say another app B) only wants password, the tighter rule of app B) overrules app A).
Was that what you wanted to know?

But i want to know about each record in credential of system.
it happened for me; tried to setup vpn connection and system asked me to set high level security on lock screen, So i set pattern.
then i missed swipe-mode of lock screen.
THEN i cleared all credentials and then another lockscreen options enabled, SO i had swipe then pattern to unlock my phone.
Again; i made vpn connection and swipe mode disabled.
Now i wanna know What are the credentials that disabled swipe mode?!

Obviously the VPN connection.
When the program sets up the device administrator, you get a list of all the things it enforces. Lockscreen security should be one of those.
As I said, its dependant on the app and the server or service you connect to, it is not predefined by the device or by Android but by the IT, network or service administration personnel.
Example: My schools exchange server 2010 enforces alsmost nothing (any lockscreen, screen timeout) where my works exchange server 2010 enforces almost everything (pin strength, remote wipe, timeout, ...).

so wht!? when i use this vpn servers on another phones, and don have problem!
so it might be something on xperia Z !?

Then the other phone doesnt honour the vpn's security requirements. So Sony is actually doing a better job than "the other" although its annoying from your perspective.
Exchange security is also annoying for me I prefer a simple swipe lockscreen while our IT dept thinks we need a complicated pin to unlock. Thus I patched Sonys email app and exchange implementation to not honour the security needs of the server.
I need to create an android app where the user info like (name,phone_no,address,personal_note) should be stored in my sql database on submitting. I need a real time notification when the user submits the data. I did some search on how to implement this and found we can use app-php-sql method. Where I can load the php script on my server which deals with the data coming from app and stores it in my SQL database. Is this reliable when there are like 50-100 requests per day ? And how to implement a real time notification on receiving the data in my database?
or should i go with PARSE ? someone suggested me to use parse and that it can handle all these issues and notify me on there dashboard.
Hi guys,
I'm a bit new to the world of Tasker, I did search the forums for two factor auth automation and found one very good post but it deals with using an inbound SMS message for the variable.
I will post my logic structure and would appreciate any feedback or advice.
Input Variables
Four Authy 2FA fields, must be done each time the task is processed due to nature of 2FA
- Find ID of each field and store variable each time the applet is used. Would have a separate applet for each login.
Actions:
Open App that requires authentication
Input stored password ( is there anyway to store this password encrypted ? )
Find ID of 2FA text box and map for input
Input stored variable(above)
Click action to authenticate
My structure is not totally correct I'm sure. I'm new to the platform but I figure if my logic is correct, it's just a matter of format in tasker.
Appreciate your time and responses in advance !
So basically, you want to grab the 2FA code from the Authy app and input it into the app which needs authentication. Did I get your goal correct?
