Are you trying with cwm flashable .zip file for Notecore?
I hate it when that happens
But i usually try and clear all caches, and try again... And then i try to install what ever was on the phone, before the problem arose...

I am tqlking about nandroid backup in CWM. For titanium backup you have to buy the pro version.

For a nandroid backup you have to boot into recovery(CWM) and under backup and restore you can backup the rom as well as applications on your external SDCard.
There is no need to use Titanium if you are using CWM.
However if you don't know how to backup with CWM and your device is rooted then you can use Titanium Backup Pro to take backup of System+Apps Data.
got it and now have done with backup now what next and i have speed mod kernel will its go with king droid rom

It's good that you have backup now, but why don't you download stock firmware as backup of ROM and use titanium backup for backup of apps? And yes, you can flash Kingdroid rom with Speedmode, it will be then replaced by the kernel you will choose in Aroma while flashing kingdroid.

you can flash twrp and it will replace cwm and vice versa.
i changed from twrp to cwm only by flashing it over, because twrp caues problems (backups were damaged or not recognized - never had such problems with cwm).

Ok thank you for the advise will look for twrp and see which is best for this device

but sir tyson says twrp is better?
They both work fine, but I prefer TWRP for more advanced features.
Did you by any chance rename your backup-folders with spaces in them?
That would explain why they weren't found by recovery.

İ think twpr is better when iwas at cwm it doesnt wipe good. İ have to flash orjinal rom after 3 or 4 flashing because of reboots .but after twpr there is no need to flash orginal rom.

i used both modes. I know that spaces are forbidden so i didn´t use them or rename anything.
But the fact is that two times twrp produced a corrupt backup i couldn´t reflash.
Never had such problems with cwm (but the same with cwm touch :crying

p.s. thanks tys0n for the incredible greyandroid bootlogo

If you want to revert back to stock from cm11.you have to flash the stock ROM through Odin then root it then flash cocore kernel and restore nandroid backup.
If not want to go through PC then
First flash custom ROM 4.3 make all wipes and format then flash cm 10.1 with all wipes and format (especially /preload partition) flash cocore again wipe all then restore nandroid backup.

Why would somebody give you this backup considering that it contains data, settings and personal information?
As I see in your signature you have a totally different phone model than Galaxy S Advance GT-I9070, can you be more specific with what you need?

There is no "best rom".
I told you to install Samsung USB drivers, not Kies. Sometimes Kies is making you a problem when you are in Download mode. Turn it off on PC, remove it in Task manager too.

I think it depends on what kind if phone you have, but if you have a MTK phone check out china-devices . com forum and go to the phone tutorials section. Its got everything from downloads, how to back up everything, and how to root

Hi
I have a question please do answer as quick as possible it's a request
My device is Micromax AQ4501(or Micromax Canvas A1)
I have installed all the mtk drivers and also flashed cwm recovery but when I boot into recovery mode and connect my phone with PC and open the mtk droid tools , the colour of the lower left corner is green saying A1 root shell. And as we know it should be cyan blue to create backup and also I tried to make backup, while it was green but it doesn't created the whole backup only some of the small files appear.
Can you tell where did i do wrong or can you tell me any other method to create flashable stock ROM backup.
One more question does rooting and cwm recovery effect the stock ROM backup, if not then how I can convert the backup created by selecting backup to external SD card in cwm recovery mode.
Any help will be appreciated , Thank You.

Why are you connect your phone with PC?
Boot into recovery using buttons or app
rooting and cwm recovery don't effect the stock ROM

Actually I was trying to make backup of my stock ROM using mtk droid tools by connecting phone in cwm recovery and I faced the problem I mentioned above.
So now can you tell me full method to do it ( everything mentioned in previous reply).
Thank you.
