hi,

is the picture template used as camera frames, they are called
collage frames, they are found in every htc phone but the problem is
they are stored in rom and are protected, you cannot rename or delete them, though on the option menu there is delete and rename
but you cant click them...
is there any way to remove them from the phone?
any hard reset reinstallation or anything else?

You can disable this camera mode via registry.
Dump > Delete Files> Flash ROM.....
or
delete the templates folder and use the frames
from the \windows\ folder with this registry
HKCU\Software\HTC\Camera\6.00\Strings
Template Folder = \Windows\
the same with smileys & RSS Hub( german HTC T_D )
look in the registry,
you can delete all the file wich is also in the \windows\ folder
but you must change the path(Strings) in the reg....

I've decompiled the Phone.apk but in the drawable-mdpi folder all the images are with .pro extension... How can I edit them ?
I want to change the background when in-call.
Anybody ? Why are the images with .pro extension ?

First thing you always try if you don't know is rename the extension either to .png .jpg or .gif.
Then if your not sure you can open the file in a hexeditor and hope the original extension is at the start of the file.
Notepad should also work for that trick.
But in answer to your question directly, I wouldn't know.
On Winmo/Ce MS MS liked to use GIF and PNG Files and change the extension to .jpg. Go figure.
I've tried to rename them to .png, .gif, you name it, but still no go. It says that it is broken or damaged.

But they are to small to be video..
So it might just be that it has nothing to do with .qm
OK- so i extract this framework-res.apk file in the rom, and i change a few of the icons, and now clearly it's time to save the changes in the framework-re.apk form, but HOW?!?!?!
and that..............^ is the question. how to compress an extracted apk file back?

how am i supposed to do that? there's no compress to apk options, or should i first compress to zip then rename the format to .apk?
I have some jpg photos in this Gallery folder.
Presumably they loaded into the folder Via Google when I was online..
( All the photos were from my blog )
When I try to delete them, these messages appears.
" File type not supported "
" Cannot delete online album files "
File Manager / File Explorer apps do not display this Gallery folder.
Any suggestions how I can solve this problem other than a factory reset ?

How i can organice phone gallery? There is few hundred photos and i wanna move them to another folder, possible? And those pictures in folders should be available in gallery after.
You'll have to manually move the pictures to different folders using a file explorer (e.g. ES File Explorer).

Thanks. I just made another folder and removed pictures to that folder. Now no need search all pictures in every time...
