Hi All,
Today, during my interview I met one girl. She was using Redmi Note 4. She was saying me that I want to Buy iPhone 8. I was like fine. He searched on Google for iPhone 8. (Inner me was laughing at her)
She said me it will launch in September. I was kind of okay! Just because She said me the truth. Next, I said her that I am waiting for Android O. It is going to be superb. She was like Android Nougat is still not available for my Redmi. I told her that it will take some time.
I said I am having Android N if you want to look at it, you can. She was like you have installed custom ROM right? Even I have tried many of times. I was looking at her.
I have shown my blog to her. She was like its good. She read some tricks and tips. I have shown her the way she can install Dual ROM on her phone
I really thought girls are dumbo and they don't know anything. She was having pretty good knowledge.

Girls aren't really dumbos, everyone is if they aren't into that sort of crap, right? I am into aviation, but you probably don't know jack **** about it, does that make you a dumbo? No, it just doesn't make you an enthusiast.

So is she now oriented to android instead?

Why do people randomnly hate on apple. It may not be open and as great as android but you must understand that its really more for people scared of messing with their phone and like simplicity. I know apple fanboys bash android with no proof and say random **** to make it look bad, but you can't fight fire with fire. My cousin always tries to find ways to make android look bad ending it with the phrase "see, android sucks" I simply say "mmhmm" and get on with my day. You know what nvm, I'm sure its only for your own pleasure and no one will see the bootscreen so nvm.

Perhaps it isn't randomly.
Personally, I think apple makes a quality product, though I prefer android. My problem with apple is how they conduct themselves as a business at times. When they get involved to lobby Federal policies, they usually don't support tech freedom for individuals, imo. I also feel they abuse our legal system, google 'Apple sues' some afternoon when you have a few hours to kill.
I think I'll continue not purchasing apple's products.

[Q] Dating someone new

I am a geek.lol and yes I know how to have fun and go dating. I stopped dating a software developer guy months ago because I can't feel the spark anymore. It could be a temporary feeling. And last week, a friend of mine introduced me to his friend and it was love at first sight. He asked me out. The only problem is, he said he's not looking for anything serious. I don't think I want to be in this relationship but I like him. Maybe in the future he might change his mind?

If you like the guy, you gotta play "hard to get". I know it may be uncomfortable for you, but it really works well, especially if he seems to be attractive. In addition, really try to enjoy and be interested in the things he likes. Don't be showy about it, but ask him questions about it in a casual tone. People love to talk about their interests and hobbies and he will think the conversation is going really well when you do that.
Who knows, maybe something more will come out of it. I am just giving you a starting point.

He asked you out and said he didn't want to be in a serious relationship? Sounds like he just wants teh secks without having to deal with an actual relationship. As a guy, I can admit to have saying such similar things. Proceed at your own caution!

Dont bother with the hard to get stuff.
But dont start seeing him, grow attached, and then be surprised and hurt when it turns out he really doesn't want a relationship. He told you he didn't. Plus he's a friend of your ex-guy so if you want to have another go at a relationship with him sometime (since you said the lack of spark could be just a temporary feeling), then you're best off staying away from his buddy. The grass isn't always greener over there on the other side of the fence.
Dont make the classic chick move where u go for the guy who's not good for you just because he's new meat and he's hot, only to regret it later.

2) look for pixel experience

For me and my phone usage..day and a half.. with playing , gaming , YouTube, data usage..social networks..
But it will a little slow down your phone.. because every app you open ,is closed ..and..takes a little time to open it.. because its not in proces..so..

Yeah how about you build your own ROM. Be patience. Developers are doing it if they felt like doing it. Stop barking if this phones never gets Pixel Experience ROM. Also this phone just came out for some places officially

You are a living example of what is wrong with this community and how much better it used to be. A lot of cocky ungrateful brats these days, acting like people owe them anything lol. Well here is the truth, no one owes you **** here buddy, so stop crying and whining, or as another user already said, build the rom yourself if you are so smartass. Also, you seem to have big problems with maths, because this device was released february 28. So its not even 3months old yet lmao. Just stop talking nonsense please, no one likes or appreciates your attitude in this forum.

You know, a couple of you guys aren't exactly helping the mood or fostering the feeling of community. I'm being blunt, not trying to continue the attacks. Folks that have been around for a while are right to keep the new people and haters in check, no doubt we need that, but jumping all over someone when he wasn't really begging, complaining about anyone in particular, or being especially rude, is a bigger problem - this turns new people off. The "old" members seem to get pissy a little too quick and a little too often, don't you think? We don't need XDA becoming 4chan/Android or the Twitter of development - we're all better than that.
I took his comment simply as frustration, and he was not incorrect, except he had the date wrong - and you seem to be aware of that, so cut him some slack, please. When you treat newer and less experienced people the exact same way you ask them NOT to act, they tend to go away rather than learn and eventually contribute to the community, and we need all the new help we can get. I'm sure I've been present in the Android ROM community for longer than anyone in this thread (2009, HTC Dream), and I don't stoop to personal attacks here (I save it for Reddit, LOL), so I'll kindly ask you all to stick to constructive comments. I'm sure you're all smart enough to point out to people where they've gone wrong without being twice as rude as them, right?
I'll go back to lurking now, and hope the Redmi Note 7 community here is a little nicer and more helpful than some of the devices I've been researching here lately. It used to be legitimately fun. Shout out to @owenbeals for getting the ball rolling on what should be a fun and insightful thread. Let's get it back on track.

First thing I do on any Android phone or tablet: Install Nova Launcher. I like how it works, I can easily set things up the way I'm used to having them, and it works reliably and smoothly.
For the Redmi Note 7, I went ahead and used my previous/existing phone to set things up more or less automatically, which I had not had great luck with in the past but worked very well to install my apps and whatnot. I did choose to restore my Nova settings from a backup saved to my Google drive, which worked, too.
I also install Textra immediately, and this time I didn't even bother trying Xiaomi's stock messaging app, because I like Textra that much. And I turned off auto brightness, because I never agree with it on what is the correct setting for any given environment.
What else, besides case and screen protector? I know, Gorilla Glass 5, but it can still scratch, and even a cheap slim case can help a phone survive the drops I'm sure to put it through. For the cheap price, I was tempted to go "naked," just to keep it slim and simple, but that's a recipe for disaster with my butter fingers.

Sorry but your post is wayyy too long to finish. I did read the first paragraph tho. And no, i dont feel like i did anything wrong here. He is rude, entitled and ungrateful person, thats a fact. No one likes his attitude here, thats also a fact. And its not only about this comment, if you look at his profile, hes a new member, whos all posts are the same, crying and whining and criticizing devs for not delivering his favourite rom like they owe him that. LOL. So yeah, im gonna stay with my words.

I wish I could list even one awesome coding skill to contribute to XDA, but the truth is the other way around - it's the developers here who've been contributing to me for the past several years as I've struggled to navigate the ever-winding road of Android. I came here completely green, not a single line of code to call mine, and had to look up every other word in the posts, only to have to look up the words in the definitions as well.
I remember that time very well, as I was armed with the new Nexus 5 Hammerhead running KitKat 4.4.4, and all I wanted to do more than anything in the world was this really cool thing I'd heard about called 'rooting.' Didn't even know what I could do with a rooted phone back then, especially since it was my very first smartphone. And somehow, some way, with the help of the posts here on XDA, I managed to gain root privileges on my first try. Bragging rights? Nah. Not until it's revealed that it only took me 3 weeks of delving my phone's deepest corners before finally discovering this amazing secret where anything I deleted instead got doubled, which allowed me to finally achieve the world record of filling up a phone's memory with useless data faster than The Competitor could get hit with planned obsolescence lawsuits. Now that's fast, indeed.
On a more serious note, there has actually been one question I've seen posted recently that I realized I could have easily helped someone with, had I an account here. Thus, what you see before you. Of course it will probably turn out to be the only question I'll come across here that I can answer, but someone needs me the way I've needed you and if I could help even just one person, then here I go...

This is the first time in my life I've ever signed up to be a part of something bigger than myself, there isn't a lot out there that can really keep drawing me back, time and time again. Now if that lady does ever figure out how to hdmi a pdf, she would be a Jedi Master, indeed, and we may both end up learning at her feet. My apologies for the late reply, and thank you for your offer, I'll probably be messaging you on my next project. The phone I'm using right now is an unrooted Motorola One 5G Ace, and it's lightning fast. But that's about where any good review ends for me. I should root it, but my screen is so cracked I may as well get a new phone.
However! I am the proud owner of a fully rooted Motorola e4 Plus, as well as a fully rooted Samsung Galaxy S5 - the AT&T kind, which is the only version that's untouchable by Developer Geohot's brainchild, Towel Root. (By the way, excellent work on that, Geohot. You are a legend among my circle.)
So, in short, I've got 2 rooted phones, neither with service, but still fun to poke around the older OS versions and see what's under the hood.
I'm tempted to grab a Galaxy S22 Ultra, but only if it's rootable, Samsung being synonymous with bloatware/trashware/dataware.

My name is E-Jay and I am a new member here. I've followed XDA for a few years now. I am avid android user and have become the most knowledgeable out of anyone I know. I am 100% self taught over the last 5 years when I first started to learn of all the awesome things you can do with an Android and I laugh when people claim IOS or Microsoft have better OS or devices because I truly find that a laughable statement. Then I will explain APK mods, the abilities of a rooted device and the ease of doing so compared to IOS and usually stop when I see the person stopped listening at APK and has a unshakable opinion fed to them by InTouch magizine but every once in awhile I will see the spark I must have had when I first started to learn about the OS and I know I have a new friend and student. To you guys I am still light years away from knowing anything but that's why I love this site. Thanks for reading and I look forward to speaking on my favorite hobby with everyone here.

I collect FRP locked phone's I buy at next to nothing price, figure out how to bypass FRP, and play with it til I find my next project. Currently I have a Samsung Galaxy Note9, a TCL 30XE that I just posted the FRP bypass I figured out on Jan 2023 security patch for Android 12, a Nokia

Ok, had to get one of my toys open to my Google account device list to answer that because I collect FRP locked devices I find dirt cheap and bypass the lock, currently signed into my Google is a Samsung Galaxy Note 9, TCL 30XE ,BLU C5L Max, LGE LG K31, Wiko Life 3 Nokia X100 and those are ones I play with. I also have a mess of older ones including Samsung A01, Rooted Galaxy J2 I keep for sentimental reasons along with a Chinese MediaTec Tablet because they were the first device I successfully rooted and first mobile device I successfully rooted and J2 I flashed the original firmware and Android 5 that it still runs because I guess I'm like a car guy who wants his first car all original. My first successful rooted mobile device I wanted all original..lol .I could keep going with at least 7-8 more that have a charge on the battery I could check and tell u but nothing special. I had 2 devices that ran Android 2, the first Android OS to be on a phone but my freaking ex wife decided they were old trash so I threw her out with them...no, I really didn't but was not happy. Have never seen a device lower than android 5 before or since. Got both from my mother who thought I was insane when I got so excited over old phones she was throwing away. I guess everyone has a passion. Somehow mine became android phones. Even I think I'm a little crazy and wish I went to school when I was younger so I'd be more advanced in my knowledge of how the OS actually works and at 42 it is a little late to learn from scratch and start a new career but I enjoy what I do and Android is just a hobby I am passionate about. Apparently I answered multiple times. New to this site and the setup a little different on mobile. More like a blog or a Docs setup.
