TBH i didnt tried it, i have to run unrooted OOS for now, and i dont know if Flyme developers have been collaborating with Oneplus developers to use their camera code inside Flyme. I will ask Tony for that

Unfortunately camera development from OnePlus was left behind.and it is very very bad that the code isnt public.

Mine stuck on flyme boot screen
Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

Ok, so tried flashing this over Experience OS Rom v2.1 (after wiping EVERYTHING)
TWRP: Latest blu_spark
Took backup in TWRP and after flashing, ended up with a error in TWRP that it failed installing. I re-selected the zip file again (without wiping anything) and it ended with a successful flashing. Upon rebooting (Very fast booting though), it ended up in a force close SystemUI issue and nothing would be visible on screen. I powered off to restore my backup, but TWRP asks for a password just after entering into TWRP (it shows my internal storage as Encrypted now, even though it was NEVER encrypted).
All in all, I need some help to restore my previous ROM without having to wipe my internal storage. Any suggestions?
Also, Please suggest on how to install this ROM for people with custom ROMs already running and which TWRP version to use.

Steps to flash Flyme ROM using PC:
1. Go to setting, then about phone, tap on build version 7 times, to acquired developer option, tap on Developer Option, and turn on OEM unlock.
Use a USB cable to connect your phone to your PC, install ADB drivers, turn off your phone, then hold power button + volume up to enter fastboot mode.
2. Unlock bootloader
Type “fastboot OEM unlock” on command prompt
Use volume button to select “Yes”
3. Using fastboot to flash TWRP recovery
Type “fastboot flash recovery twrp.img” on command prompt
Using volume button to select recovery, and power button to select.
Slide to allow TWRP to allow modification of the system
If you are prompted for a password, and the previously set password is not usable, tap cancel, then format the data partition
Copy Flyme6 ROM zip to your phone
4. Flash ROM in TWRP
Wipe – Swipe to Factory Reset
Install – Select the Flyme6 ROM zip and swipe to confirm flash
Reboot – Tap on system, wait patiently for about 10 minutes

I read this on the OP3T thread by someone who was able to successfully get Flyme OS to boot:
1. reboot to recovery
2. wipe data, cache and factory reset
3. flash the OS
if it takes more than 10 mins to boot or if you'll get a black screen then go back to TWRP and wipe again data, cache and do factory reset, should be working.
booting time may take few minutes so be patient.

Sent from my MI NOTE Pro using Tapatalk
Are u using the Chinese Developer ROM?
Each weekly Update will make you stuck in a boot-loop!
If you can't boot into your ROM anymore, flash the full ROM:
Download latest Xiaomi Mi Note Pro Latest Developer Version Fastboot File Download here
Unzip the Downloaded ROM file
Turn off the device. Press the Volume– key and the Power button at the same time to enter Fastboot mode. Then connect the device to the Windows PC/laptop via a micro USB cable
Download the Download MIUI ROM Flashing Tool from here here and install / extract it
Run the Flashing Tool
Select the extracted ROM folder
Click flash
If You want to do the weekly developer update without bootloop:
Disable Automatic Upgrades if you're on the Chinese Developer ROM
Download the full Chinese Developer ROM from here
Copy it to your device
Open the updater app
Click the menu button.
Select the menu option that says select update ZIP manually
Choose the downloaded full ROM ZIP
It reboots into recovery and automatically flashes the full ROM without producing boot loops
Be patient, it needs a long time, don't interrupt the process!

EDIT 1
Procedure that worked for me
So I've managed to install it and as expected, I had to format and delete everything on my internal memory. Here is the procedure I've followed and I'm 100% sure it'll work for others too.
Stuff I did before flashing:
1. Took a complete backup of internal memory.
2. Downloaded ROM + Recovery ( I use Holy Dragon custom twrp) + magisk 18.1 zip to an external OTG drive
My Configuration before flashing:
OOS 5.0.8, Unlocked BL, Magisk and root, Custom Kernel, Custom HolyDragon recovery
Procedure I followed:
1. Boot to recovery.
2. Wipe System, Dalvik, Cache
3. "Format Internal Memory". Please note, I formatted internal memory, not just wiped. This will remove encryption for once which will help the rom boot. It won't boot on encrypted partition with unlocked bootloader on first start up.
4. Flashed ROM zip.
5. Flashed twrp image.
6. Pressed power button for as long as possible until it rebooted again.
7. Pressed volume button before it could reboot so that i can select recovery. This step is important. If you won't do it, your recovery will be replaced with stock one.
8. Flash magisk zip. 18.1
9. Reboot system. It will take 10-15 minutes as it will reencrpt the storage.
10. Profit! Enjoy your new official oos pie on OP3/T.
Some things to note:
1. On first boot, it WILL NEED either mobile data or wifi. It downloaded some update and then installed and proceeded.
2. It will ask for your previous pattern. It didn't work for me so i simply login with my previous Gmail account on 5.0.8 and login successfully.
3. You will need to install magisk manager on first boot. It will show magisk not installed. Don't panic. Simply reboot your device once and it will appear in magisk on second reboot.

I used an early version of it because i didn't know there was a newer one, wasted all day unable to boot to the recovery and having to flash full rom with miflash LOL. So to save your time here's what i did. I ASSUME YOUR BOOTLOADER IS UNLOCKED
1. This is the latest orangefox recovery Version: R10.0_7: https://c.mi.com/thread-2482912-1-0.html
2. Download the latest full Recovery ROM of Mi 9T pro global V10.3.2.0.PFKMIXM from here: http://bigota.d.miui.com/V10.3.2.0.PFKMIXM/miui_RAPHAELGlobal_V10.3.2.0.PFKMIXM_55396ac730_9.0.zip
3. UNZIP the recovery file, you'll see an image file called Recovery.
4. Now fastboot flash that recovery RECOVERY NAME OR LOCATION. After flash succeeds, press and hold volume up + power button until you feel the vibration and then if done properly your phone will boot to orangefox recovery.
4. From there now, copy paste the full orange fox recovery zip file to your phone internal storage, locate it and then swipe to install the recovery again as a permanent solution.
5. IMPORTANT, after you swipe it will reboot itself to recovery again, YOU HAVE TO WIPE DATA otherwise your phone won't boot up, so go to MENU-MANAGE PARTITION-DATA-OK-TYPE YES. Your data is erased so now you'll have to setup phone again.
6. After completing setup, reboot again back to orangefox recovery by pressing volume up and power button. From there go to MENU, click on settings icon on top right, locate and select MIUI OTA, in there select all check boxes, I selected all checkboxes but not sure if it's a must but since nothing wrong happened to me you can follow me lol. in there you will see a message where it tells you to FLASH A FULL MIUI ROM!, So transfer the Recovery ROM you downloaded to your phone and do the “Swipe to install” action. Wait for the OrangeFox to finish its job flashing the ROM. It may take a while because Orange Fox also takes “OTA_BAK” backup process. The backup file is located at /sdcard/Fox/OTA/ directory. Do not ever delete that directory and its files, the OTA Update will fail otherwise.
7. After flashing is done, reboot and it successful, voila your phone is ready for OTAs.
What I'm not sure is if it will survive Android 10 though.

Complete setup of Lineage OS

Since in my last post I made a complete mess out of my first time trying to root my K20 and install lineage I wanted to my make a separate post so that I can list all the steps I need to take to correctly setup my phone how I want it.
What I actually want
A rooted device
Lineage OS
Minimal excess files (A clean Install)
Current Steps
Unlock and flash recovery
Backup
Format Data! (It's important if you come from Miui)
Install Q Firmware + vendor
Install LineageOS followed by gapps
Reboot into system and setup device.
Reboot into recovery and flash magisk
Profit???
Feel free to tell me how stupid I am and what I need to add to the list or steps I should take to make this process better.
I also dont know if its possible to get recovery and rom on android 10 versions.
Thanks
Did these steps not work?

1. Unlock and flash recovery
2. Backup
3. Format Data! (It's important if you come from Miui)
4. Install Q Firmware + vendor
5. Install LineageOS followed by gapps
6. Reboot into system and setup device.
7. Reboot into recovery and flash magisk

I like the details steps but I have a few questions.
(Unlock and flash recovery) From what I can tell there are two recovery's Orange fox and TWRP
(Format data) Just format data or are there other sections I should format/wipe
(Install Q Firmware + Vendor) I have no idea what Q firmware is or what vendor you are referring to
(Install Lineage + gapps) Is there a specific version from the Mi 9T pro since the official site doesn't list it
Any of the two recoveries will work. Q firmware means Android Q. Wile data/cache dalvik that's it. Regarding firmware, there's a clear topic of Lineage OS in K20 Pro forum which is still in unofficially state

1. You can take what you want. Orangefox is based on TWRP.
2. Format data is needed if you come from miui. If you did it you are good to go. But it wouldn't be false to wipe system, dalvic, cache
3.https://downloads.akhilnarang.me/MIUI/raphael/ --> Take 10.4.6.0 or 10.4.8.0 (Android 10 = Q)
4. No there is no specific version.

I would recommend the latest TWRP from here
https://forum.xda-developers.com/k2...icial-twrp-xiaomi-redmi-t3944363/post79823568
The dev is an official TWRP dev, so this version, or something very close to this, is likely to become official in the future.
OrangeFox is a heavily modified TWRP and has a lot of added functionality specific to MIUI. If you wanted to stay on stock MIUI, but debloat and have root, etc. then OF would be the better choice, as it has functionality that lets it play nicely with MIUI (it can remain installed when OTA updates are installed)
As someone new to flashing on Android, I would suggest downloading a 10.4.x fastboot ROM from the site I pointed to in your other post, then follow the same procedure to flash the ROM.
Make your choice based on Kollachi's info and what's important to you (HD Netflix - choose Indian, or a working NFC - choose Chinese)
However you MUST change the flash option to 'clean all'.
At this point you've got a nice squeaky clean starting point.
Boot into the ROM at least once, though it's not necessary to go through all the setup.
After that follow Kollachi's steps but you can now ignore the step to flash vendor and firmware as it's all part of the fastboot ROM already flashed.
Wipe cache and dalvik, format data.
There is no official LOS for this phone yet. Hopefully it will go official in the future.
For now just get the current Android 10 based LOS from here.

When ever I think I have the process memories and I follow the steps on my screen I still somehow **** this up and I cant understand how.
My current steps include
Flash the fastboot with the ROM that you linked me in my first post
Flash the recovery with TWRP (Every time I have then tried going back into TWRP is failed to work and prompted the original MIUI recovery)
Install the TWRP zip from custom recovery to try and fix the issue above (Only had this work once on orangefox and then never had success again)
So now I try to just flash the recovery and boot to it using CMD and it works fine
Move the lineageOS files from my PC to the phone SDCard
If I wipe data and the caches as suggested then the lineageOS zip is now go and I am back to flashing the fastboot ROM to restart the process
I know this might seem like im either stupid or just not getting it but could you or anyone else please make a bullet pointed list with links to what I have to download in order to actually achieve this since I cant do anything correctly even when trying to follow the steps.
(Im going to sleep since I have been trying to do this for hours now and I will check reply's in the morning.
Thanks for the help so far EVERYONE

I just told you what I have done and I'm running it so far without issues.
Robbo just said you should flash the whole Chinese or indian rom but I don't like his steps because:
1. File is much bigger
2. MiFlash is just meh
3. If you forgot to change the flash process you are bricked if you don't take the correct firmware for your phone.
Default option in Miflash is set to "Clean all and lock". Every time you use it, you will need to change it into "clean all" or something other.

Yes flashing the whole fastboot ROM does add the risk, if you forget to change the flash option, but you are guaranteed a clean slate and so less likely to have any niggling issues that nobody else has. I would bet large sums of money that many of the issues you see on here, where only one person has some problem and everyone else is fine, would be solved by fastboot flashing MIUI before installing the ROM of choice.
If you know what you're doing and know when you'll be OK with what you've got and know when it's best to start clean, then going with the vendor and firmware is easier.
But if your unsure and new to flashing on Android phones, I will always suggest go with the overkill and know you've got the clean slate to start with.

It's sounds like the main issue is stock recovery is being restored. This is something that MIUI will do when it boots up.
When you first install TWRP you cannot boot into MIUI before booting to TWRP as you instantly lose TWRP. So you need to boot into TWRP first in order to do something to prevent it being overwritten.
Options are
1
Code:
fastboot boot TWRP.img
2 Use the button combo whilst still in fastboot - power and vol+, hold both until the phone vibrates and the initial logo appears.
Now to keep TWRP you need to either flash a custom ROM, flash Magisk or flash the dm-verity script.
In your case you want to flash LOS, so now you've booted into TWRP go ahead and continue with the steps given.
Also, wait until after you've formatted data before copying everything over. You can access the phone as an MTP device when in TWRP, so you'll be able to connect it to a PC and drag everything across, or you can stick everything on a USB OTG pen, if you have one, TWRP can read data from them too.

The exact problem I have is that I cant transfer any files to the device after formatting the data. I follow the steps correctly and I get into TWRP successfully and then everyone has told me to format the data then install lineage but I cant install the OS if formatting the data removes it.
Get device into fastboot
Flash revocery with TWRP
power the device off
hold volume up and power
boot into custom recovery
format data
move lineageOS onto my device
install lineageOS
reboot
done.
This is the list of exact actions I am doing with no results is there something I am missing or something that is in the wrong order.

After format data, reboot your device into recovery again and transfer LOS, gapps and all files you need.
Format data kills the storage.
I always used to reboot from TWRP back in to TWRP after formatting data, but I've recently seen someone saying that they just unmount data then remount it again. I haven't tried it myself but it certainly makes sense and would be quicker too.

Yes I did that and it worked, unmounting and remounting helps detect the storage in PC

9T Pro Global booting to Fastboot after Viper4Android Uninstall...Please Help!!!

Hey all.
Currently running 11.0.1.0 Global Official on my phone. Installed via OrangeFox Incremental update method.
I had some Magusk modules installed before the update. All of them worked after except Viper4Android. So I decided to uninstall.
I selected reboot via Magisk and now the phone constantly goes to Fastboot!!
I manually booted into recovery and decided to wipe Dalvik and Cache. During this process it shows 'NO ROM' under 'Device: Raphael'
I don't know how on earth this happened and can't seem to re-install the rom as it gives me following error:
Detected MIUI Update Package
Support MIUI Incremental Package Status: Enabled
E3003: Can't install this package over newer build.
Update process ended with ERROR: 7
Are you installing onto the correct device?
Guys please help. I really don't want to do a clean install as I have lots os important sms that I haven't backed up.
Please help
Error 7 is because you're probably flashing another region ROM. Unzip the rom and find the Update script file, edit with notepad and rename all lines reading "Raphael" to "Raphaelin" or bice versa. Rezip and flash.

Hey. Thanks for the reply. However this is the same file I used to upgrade from 10 to 11 in the first place.
Also this is the full ROM I believe as I do not see any update script inside the zip.
This is the one I downloaded: https://bigota.d.miui.com/V11.0.1.0.QFKMIXM/miui_RAPHAELGlobal_V11.0.1.0.QFKMIXM_7b25321468_10.0.zip
There should be update script file. Otherwise you'll have to flash a fastboot ROM with miflash and in there maybe try to KEEP DATA and see if it boots

Hey again. So I decided to go the fastboot ROM route with keep data option. My data partition was left intact (THANK YOU!) however my sms and call logs were only restored from the latest cloud backup available (not latest unfortunately).
Thanks again for your help.
Just wanted to check with you. Can I install OrangeFox directly onto this phone now? I recall having issues the first time I tried. Ended up having to install a specific version of TWRP made for the 9T Pro Global version and then install OrangeFox via that.
You'll have to format data i think. Otherwise try, this is the latest for raphael https://files.orangefox.tech/OrangeFox-Stable/raphael/OrangeFox-R10.0_8-Stable-raphael.zip
Unzip the file, then take the recovery.img file from it and FASTBOOT FLASH RECOVERY *RECOVERYNAME*. Once target is sent, press and hold volume up and power button together, once it vibrates release the power button and keep holding volume up, it will reboot to orangefox. Once it boots, copy the orangefox zip file and flash it again, now it will be permanent, then go to manage storage and format data (that where you type YES).
What I'm not sure is if it will boot without wiping data. Otherwise try skipping the data wipe and just flash orangefox twice like above

Ok this is really weird. I sent across the latest OrangeFox via Fastboot. Booted into it. Installed again via Zip. It rebooted back into Orangefox. Wiped data. Then re-started phone and set everything up (second time today :crying.
I then downloaded magisk and booted into recovery to install it only to find out it's back to stock!!???
I really don't want to wipe my data again so any idea as to which TWRP works on this phone? I just tried the mauronofrio one but it boots to a black screen :crying:
Flash magisk before you setup your stuff, magisk will stop it from restoring back to stock recovery.

Yes that of Maurofanio or something like that is his name, it's in here.
