It's only the development progress of this custom rom.
Each time I solve a bug, will be strike and once is ready will be released so don't ask for ETA.

Looks promising. Do you think you can fix video recording? You commited a camera fix [1/2], This would be awesome.

I'm trying to fix the easiest bugs for first and yes, the strike is mean has been fixed, I also fix the cpu bug, as i see it's related to ramdisk, not the kernel (I use my own one not from OpenKirin), as you see the result is near to 31k points.
for video recording yes fixing it not so hard, will give a look.

EDIT: Does HwComposer work normally? And does 2nd SIM work without battery drain?

I have read the post before. I saw haky 86 said he would fix HwComposer at last, so I wonder if he can fix it. Because surdu_petru and XePeleato haven't fixed it by now, I think haky 86 can join them to fix it together. And he didn't mention about 2nd SIM in the OP.

I test hwcomposer yesterday the rom is boot but get random bootloop at animation boot, I guess because some gralloc ext libs is missed, actually I'm working on bluetooth and ril, once done will add a screenshots

To be honest I don't know, I test YouTube with k3 codecs, very smooth with high quality of audio..

I just can't believe how you can solve alone soo many problems, and OpenKirin team can't fix stuffs that you fixed already...
I know xepe is working even with stock kernel with oc capabilities, and surdu with other phones, but still :d

A good developers shows through the outcome. Not essentially the speed. Why would a bugged out end product that was created in 2 days be better than a great product that took a week? The speed is just an side point. Haky has been working on this phone for a long time, afaik, he knows the device and knows what to do. And if you read his reply, he used some OpenKirin code. Btw this is no hate against haky or anyone, just wanted to point out, that the speed isn't the main indicator for a good developer.

I take a look around MiCode and did first patchrom, the rom is not booting due to some conflicts with the aosp 6.0 that I'm investigate around the problem to fix on aosp 6.0 because now is not even boot :/ , but it's a good start to port this wonderful rom to our phone, just wait.

- Camera, Accelerometer, GPS, Bluetooth, Light sensor, LED, Speaker - not working at all
- More than half of apps crashes.
- Power management. The only way to turn off the phone - ejecting battery lol
- Absolute unstability. Freezes, lags, random crashes etc.
What's done:

edit1: i don't know why . i have not any problem with cm6.1-stable boot.img thathas smaller boot size also i could run original froyo boot.img that has bigger boot.img so the problem couldn't be from by block on device !!!

I met a problem to understand the assemble codes of a KEY function(ie reg_unreg_buf() in libcamera.so in Tattoo Donut system). I just know a little about arm assembly language. How does the assembly deal with structures and pointers to structer in C? If we can implement this function into libcamera.so in Froyo, I think it's not too far from working camera preview. So here are some details.
Current question is, why msm_poll in the kernel won't be called while I did system-call select()? I tried lots of times, but always no luck.

OK, thanks in advance. What confused me is what layout should be token in stack by arm assembly for structure data in C/C++. Are they exactly same as structures in memory or would arm-eabi-gcc apply some padding as well?

How did you solve the y_cbcr offset issues? Actually I really don't know what they are, I just read the assembled codes step by step and fill my implementing function codes. LOL
And I don't mind the time when devs release their ROMs, so just go on your way, I will release my AOSP ROMs at a proper period.

I don't expect any more real development for our device without some serious help from tj_style(which is highly unlikely). I know that abenagiel is trying to develop cm from source. Even Ck is also doing something with the sources (at least that is what i make out from his git activity). But what we really need is a developer who has experience in modding the kernel source itself. I don't mean to say that aben and ck are incapable of doing so, but just that for the faster progress we need an experienced dev. I don't see this going far beyond what we already have in ICS.
Most of us are just going to selll our devices in near future.
Just my 2 cents

Nothing more than what you already see in the bounty thread. You, Vivek and me; looks like we are the only ones who would have this device in the long run.
But wait, In India too many cheaper china devices are being launched at competent prices and I believe now the price for our used device in india is not worth more than INR 4000 so we might hit it before its too late:good:. But only if ppl here provide contributions. Many from this board would buy those devices, and i am damn sure that if you buy any other device you will not have such an easy courtesy of changing roms and trying different things as boldly as with this one.
I believe in the powers of one person; that a single person can influence the entire community. That's what tj stands for. And this is the reason why if we could just find one developer then he may actually rejuvenate this dying board.
There might be personal unavoidable reasons for not to donate.
If this is were it stops, I would say I am pretty happy:cyclops:.

Hey aben can you share your build as an alpha even without functioning camera? And please dont over work yourself i dont think we deserve anything more than what u already have given. Take your time and have regular sleeps, that way you have more chances of fixing it. Also i suggest you contact dzo, tj and randomblame i am sure they will be happy to guide.

been walking @andro-id.net tonight..... found news that tj's device were broken... hardware broken.... ... hope he can fix his device.... cause maybe andro id rc.3.3 is the last rom he made for ideos x6 if he can't get it fix......

Sorry if I report it in Indonesian language because that was Indonesian Facebook group,, this is in English :

I will release the tester pre-alpha build after I fix some minor bugs,, but camera still not work of course (will take a long time to fix camera)
List of minor bugs :
- low audio call (show randomly)
- WiFi (its my kernel fault)
- Apollo music player doesn't scan media in sdcard (I'm using third party app music player right now)
- tethers (if I can or I try to fix for the next release)
I need more times to release that because its take more than 6 hours to build ROM from my core 2 duo laptop
#building is more harder than porting

Well I have a little bit more than 6 hrs with the rom and I can say It is a little bit laggy(expected i think) Don't know yet about battery, themes are working fine, and rom seems to be really stable with overlock at 117%, big mem, cfq, smartass. no random reboots or while playing
Love how it looks :=), if you want to know something more specific or want me to test something, i'll gladly do it.

Well I have a little bit more than 6 hrs with the rom and I can say It is a little bit laggy(expected i think) Don't know yet about battery, themes are working fine, and rom seems to be really stable with overlock at 117%, big mem, cfq, smartass. no random reboots or while playing
Love how it looks :=), if you want to know something more specific or want me to test something, i'll gladly do it.

Battery sems to be good, 17hrs and I stilll have 22%(117% OC, cfq, bigmem, wifi almost all day, data) so I guess phone is doing well and is going to deep sleep. gmail works really good, I had some trouble with candy crush facebook login, but it is working. I haven't tried the gps yet, I will today. I usually have between 125 and 150mb of free memory, I assume that is why it is a little bit laggy. Whatsapp and facebook works well also, No bugs yet to report.

first look great but then I was upset as during voice call neither other party nor I can hear them. tried reset, reflash, vol up down but nothing fixes it for me. please help.

Link to ROM was pulled so I can't test it. Could someone try this fix. It was originally used to reset all gps+ril files to vibrant files. I used them on my Miui ROMs I've built.

Try another kernel, had no problem with Cyanogen or Semaphore for 4.1.2.
Link is down so I can't test it again, i'll wait to download it again.

Well it kinda works....does not use the sensor but it lights up the screen on notification..

Is GPS working for anyone? I can't get a anything to show on this ROM or Liquid.
I wish I could get a lock, because this baby is super snappy!
I want to apologize for the lack of updates. I embarked on this project at a time when life is hectic for me and so i have had very little time to actually hunt down some of these issues. I'm hoping to do some poking around this week and figure out the GPS issues at the least. I'm not sure what's going on with it...nothing shows up in any logs as far as i can see at first glance but something is obviously up somewhere.
Its not just this ROM. Liquid has issues too. I think cm12 also. Its weird, some people have great success and other have none.
Agree, I've had no GPS issues on any of the ROMs for this device.. Pure Edition and always clean flash and wipe everything

I was aware of that fact...it just makes no sense even more considering this...if it was some file or something missing it would happen to everyone and it would trow some sort of error i would think....

Lets try a shot in the dark...can you try this for me...1.fresh boot 2. turn on High accuracy location mode 3. Open up GPS Test let it sit for a few min(or till it gets a lock) then send me a logcat of all this so i can compare...it's something to look at at least...on another note i found a fix for the WiFi hotspot...even tho for CM it seems to have fixed itself somehow it still was not working for me with slim and i could not locate any commit in CM source to affect this so i figured out my own fix...might be temporary as i will still try to hunt in CM source but won't take too much time on that
