Its been stuck on this for about an hour, anyone else had this problem, is it normal, do I need to wait longer?
Nope. It takes max 30 seconds to unlock. Mine took 10 seconds. Clean flash again and then try and see if it works this time.

Same happened to me. You have to go to Development options → Mi unlock status and then at the bottom theres is the option “assign to account” or something like that. Once you check it you can try unlocking again. I had to wait 72 hours since I marked the option till I could unlock it, though.

I just got the unlock to enter in my treo 750..but it looks like someone has tried to enter the wrong code 15 times...

your phone is indefinitely blocked.
please wait for the new release of my SIM unlocker and you'll be able to unlock it.
will that be anytime soon?
or will it be a while?
Olipro,
Is the newest release of your SIM Unlocker able to overcome this indefinite blocked state yet?
Any other options?
Thanks,

FINALLY after 7 days without the phone going to sleep or turning off
it allows me to enter the code......
it actually had to sit 7 days
Wow this took 7 days to unlock. I tried using the unlock program and it was at 2 days and the program put it to 12 days so I just went to ebay to buy the code. So now I have to wait 7 days. Ahhhhhhh

this is great news, will this unlock those like me that flashed the Hermes radio rom?
Thanks for you work.
Ha finally!!! Mine was timed out for 36 tries (thanks to some of the unlock programs on here) and I had waited for days for it reset but nothing. I tried the other unlockers too but didn't have much luck. I even tried calling AT&T for a code and they said no go unless you the phone is under service with them for 90 days. So I finally bit the bullet and paid for the software unlock that is done over the internet and finally got it unlocked even with the timeout still on. Yeah.
I'm in the same boat, the phone is in timeout, I have the code from ATT but can't enter it. Would you please share what service you used to get it unlocked online even with the timeout.
Had same issue
When My blackstone wsa in timeout I found that the timer only countts down when the phone is on (screen and all) so to make the timeout pass quickly set your phone to never turn off (without sim in) then leave it on charge. May take several days of being left always on but the phone will eventually timeout and let you enter another code.
timeout
please tell me a solution for HTC HD2
How long do I have to wait for the timeout?
Timeout for HD2
The timeout on my HD2 is now after 7 wrong tries around 35min ....
i think it increases abaout 5 min every try. Just let your device allways on in that time.
bye the way has anyone managed to get a working unlock code for a 3 Austria locked HD2

HTC Touch HD, Sony Ericsson X1, HTC HD2
Treo 750 unlock error
Follow the steps to unlocking but crashed in the third 56% and now the Treo connects to the bootloader screen, how to recover? thanks

Hi,
not sure if the problem is général or ROM related...
This morning after new kernel flashing, I rebooted, and at the same time was talking to some people.. so I looked at my phone at least 5 min later, and the boot process was done for long, and SIM card was locked...
I didn't find how to manually launch the PIN code identification process, had to reboot...
Is there a way to do it without rebooting ?

Not sure about this, but I think turning flight mode on/off will bring the pin id screen back.

I think I have the solution to your problem. I am using pbs shell 3d, and sometimes while it restarts (after booting phone) the pin screen does not appear. It seems to happen with a few launcher or similars to spb shell. It has happen to me quit offen. The solution is to install a task killer. If it happens again, drag the task killer and kill all runningprogrmas. The pin screen will appear straight away.

Ok thanks, I'll try this too if needed.
So my brand new 24 hour old Xperia Z1 will not start and only goes to a blank screen with the backlight on. It does show the SONY splash screen before this for a second.
The only way to shut it down is to do an up volume and on button combo or to hit the red reset button.
I've tried starting with the SIM and SD Card out but it doesn't seem to make a difference.
The phone has pretty much not been used at all so I am a bit shocked. Is there any thing I can try? It was working last night.
24 hours out of the box, just send it back for a new one.
even if its starts working again, for a £600 device I would just send it back and say you are not happy and want a new one

I went off and left it for about 10 minutes and it did finally restart. I suppose there is some sort of software conflict issue going on.
I did a factory wipe and it runs like lightning now. No idea which app is causing the conflict.

This is one of the fastest phones on the market and this shouldn't be happening. After I did my restore I set up again and synched and auto-updated apps and I had the same problem. I then tried deleting all of my uploaded apps one by one until they were all gone but this didn't help and the boot times were still about 5 minutes, often with the phone booting without remembering the brightness setting or even not booting at all.
So I did a factory reset again but this time did not account synch on setup or auto update apps and that seems to have fixed it for me. The phone is very fast and boots in under 30 seconds now, and runs without any lag whatsoever. I wish I could identify specifically what the issue is but so far no luck.
Hi all
I've got a XT1053 Developer Edition and did the 5.1 update when it was released a few months ago. Every time I power the phone up it will go through the whole optimizing process of all 78 apps on the phone. This process takes 10 minutes and has really become a pain in the rear. It wasn't like this at first but the last few times it does it everytime. The phone is unrooted and the bootloader is still locked. Never got around to unlocking it.
I have done a hard reset but that did not help.
i think you could try to reflash the official ROM

Super freaking annoying. I did a hard reset too and it still happens every couple of days. WTF?!

I have noticed it happens mostly when I run the battery flat and need to charge it first before I boot the phone up.
Make sure you are not connected to the charger when you reboot ...

Noted! Because I think it only happens when the phone powers up after running out of juice and it's still connected to the charger. Was never an issue with 4.4.4
I'm not new to rooting and all. With that said, I'm not pretty good at this too. So all I wanted to know is that is there some kind of workaround to the 7 day wait. Like some modded version or anything like that.
Thanks in advance.
No, it does not exist. you have to wait 7 days.

Oh okay. So I have to keep my mobile connected to it for all that time? Or should I do "Add Account" in my mobile developer settings and wait 7 days to connect my mobile to my laptop?
exactly. add your MI account in the developer settings and OEM Unlock.
Then download MIUNLOCK, connect to the MI account and try the unlock. Then the timer starts.
Well, ik this sounds a bit dumb but i didn't quite get it.
The timer starts when:
I add my account in the developer settings
Or
I connect my phone to my lap and click on "unlock".
Also if its the second one. Do i have to keep my phone connected for 7 days and i can't use it?
The timer starts when you confirm that you want to unlock.
Afaik: You can disconnect it, you can use it, you can turn it off, you can take the SIM out. On the 7th day you need to turn it on again with SIM inside. Be careful not to start the 7 day timer again when the 7 days are over.
And how can I possibly "restart the timer".
Thanks for the reply!
No, there's no other way to skip the 7 days. Unless you try to unlock phone that ia older than 2 years, I believe, MiUnlock will automatically unlock it (need further confirmation, happens to some people)
I believe you can accidentally "restart" the countdown if you swap your sim with different sim that is used to request the unlock, or stay offline/airplane for too long (3-5 days). Safe bet is, keep your phone on, don't swap the sim, and stay connected to internet as best as you could until you have successfully unlocked it.
Ohh okay. I finally get it.
Thanks for the help guys! I really appreciate it.
Use it for few mins every other day. Connect to wifi, take picture, play soke game etc.

If you use your phone as always and as long you do nothing more with account settings or OEM unlock, you are OK.
The timer restart if you try the unlockprocedure again from start.

When starting with unlock you need to enable some settings in developer options.
After this you start the unlocktool, after a short time (99%) you see the wait time of 168 hours.
Everytime if you start the unlocktool after this, you see that waiting time will be lower.
But...........
If you change some of the before enabled settings in developer options, that clock starts again for 168 hours, because he thinks that this is the start of a new unlock attempt.
My advice: Stay away from settings for that week.
If you use your phone as always, nothing happens with resetting the wait clock.
If you start the unlocktool after 168 hours, everything runs as expected (100%) and you bootloader will be unlocked and all data will be erased. So make a backup before.
