I want...
1) battery life.
2)Smoothness
3)don't have big bugs specially with calling,Wi-Fi,3G etc.
Thanks
1. Wrong place to post this.
2. ROM preference is kind of a personal thing. Try them it to find one that best suits you.
You could go With Tesla for speed, battery life is around 11hrs with greenify and fusion 6.0 for battery life (1day with greenify) , performance is good no lag. .. I use the former as primary rom and latter as secondary because of it's battery life , as I give priority to performance than battery life... I've used cm 12.1, pacman, prudroid, blisspop, paranoid, resurrection remix, ... And I found the above said 2 roms the best, personal choice. .
having tried Cm12.1 , stock 5.0.2 , titan , slim LP and loads of others - I'm currently using nexus experience rom all i can say, its the only custom rom i've kept for more than 2days -- NOT saying others are no good-- just I personally like this one.
https://nxrom.us/motog2.html
most stable rom
CM 12.1 snapshot version
https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=titan&type=snapshot
Thanks everyone for your help....

Hope you enjoy it here.
look no further!
I strongly recommentd, Blisspop. BlissPop-v4.0.3-titan-OFFICIAL-20151007-0743
Blisspop has features but bad ram management.. ..
Fusion, Exodus or crDroid
I'm using blisspop with spirit kernel.
Its giving 4 hrs of SOT. Any other ROM which can give more SOT? I'm a heavy user so I need to charge it twice.. Which ROM is best for SOT? Fusion or nexus experience or any else?

Resurrection Remix easily. Been using it for two months now and it works fantastically. Amazing battery life with even better standby. Forgot to charge it last night and am at 22% in the morning. Enjoy!

Try ViperOs
So I've used a lot of ROMS. A LOT. But I keep jumping into different ROMS, because I can't agree with a particular one for a long time. Now I'm just tired. I want a good daily driver. I'm looking for the best stability, battery backup (really important), smoothness and performance (gaming too I guess) in a ROM. Preferably Android 6.0.x too. So suggest a few ROMS which match the above criterion please?
Thank you in advance!
Personally IMO Any LP rom is better than MM (Try Minimal Os)
But for MM then try cm 13 or cyanpop.
AOSP 6.0.1 roms are better than cm 13 (just by a bit) so go for AOSP-CAF for best performance and battery in aosp.

I've been using it for a couple of days but i don't get the proper feel from it. I'm currently using MinimalOs and it's pretty smooth. Would you recommend a custom kernel (for battery and smoothness) or is the default one the best? I've so far experienced no problems apart from a small battery drain which can be ignored.. But.. How can I make it better?

For minimal OS : for performance go for halogen r 14 , for battery and stability go for decipher kernel (works like a charm and is recommended) personal build (cm12 10122015 build).
Stock kernel works fine too. And for the battery drain just install xposed and use amplify and powernap and block wakelocks.
Thanks a lot.

That's your call. But if you want to get the most out of the kernel then I suggest you tweak it (and even try to experiment to see which suits you best).

What works for me...
I've been using Nexus Experience 6.0 for a couple of months and love it. I'm also using Halogen kernel without any modifications. With Amplify and Greenify modules from Xposed, battery life is great, drain of 1 or 2 percent overnight. With Nexus Experience everything works, not to mention the 'Gestures' setting is just so freakin' awesome!

I was using this ROM for quite some time. But I had to change it because it was lagging too much and also because of the bad autocorrect on the keyboard (haha I know, I'm dumb XD).. As far as the kernel, I just use the stock settings, haven't tweaked it at all. I don't really compose long emails or texts so the keyboard issue hasn't been noticed. Maybe try another keyboard app? Both the ROM and kernel were updated less than a week ago so you might want to give them a try again. Good luck!

There are 4 versions (more or less) of Resurrection Remix ROMs (e.g Zenity, Sultan's, EAS-VOX) for the 3T and i don't know which to choose. I'm looking for the most stable, battery friendly and OMS-supported out of all of them. Support for custom kernels would also be nice but if it doesn't support them it's okay. Also, if there are any ROMs that has most of the features i listed, do let me know

I think they are all good but this version -> https://forum.xda-developers.com/on...development/rom-resurrection-remix-m-t3399960
Is the best in my opinion.
1. most frequent updates.(currently even nightlies)
2. comes with ex kernel
3. is the only aosp/laos rom out there that doesnt throttle while playing moderncombat.
I tried all other aosp/laos roms, not only all rr roms. And they all start throttling while playing moderncombat even with the same ex kernel and kernel settings. The game simply starts lagging because the cpu clocks down. And the funny thing is the device doesnt even start heating.
I was almost sure that the official rr is better but i switched back to the custom version and was shocked that it never throttles while playing even when gpu boost is on "high". You can also set the kernel settings using akt app to get better battery life. But for me the battery is good enough.

Zenity is with EAS and with a kernel based on Renderkernel.
Sultanized RR is not based on official LOS, rather on sultans LOS 14.1
more infos you can get in their threads (OP). I would choose one of these. Both are stable and with OMS

I don't have the device yet (shipment still pending -_-), but currently, I have a Google Pixel XL and I am running PureNexus with EX Kernel.
Once I get the device, I'm going to either install a ROM I find that is closest to PureNexus in terms of features and stability, or RR, as that seems to be one of the more popular ROM options out there.
I may stick with the stock kernel, but I feel like I will find myself installing EX on the OP5 as well.
Also, I definitely need a ROM with OMS support, Substratum ftw!

What's the advantage of those over, say, ElementalX?
Stock rom and ex kernel
12 hr sot. With 9% left
13 hr sot
I am on Stock Kernel and ROM(4.5.5)
I loose around 3% overnight (8Hrs) Phone goes to deepsleep, all connectivity off, except phone radio.
Is this normal? Can it be bettered with a dev Kernel?
Please suggest... Thanks

Last 8.8.9. version is out. Smooth, fast and great battery backup. I cant find out any reason to use custom rom, kernel. Miui 10 is really great.
Just tried 8.8.9. version with magisk preinstalled and no custom kernel. Usual apps, nothing fancy. Well, the results are 15 min SOT and battery went from 100 to 89 on wifi only. So NO, MIUI 10 8.8.9 has awful battery management.
In the last 2-3 months I tested every oreo rom and also MIUI 9 and 10. The results are all the same on almost every rom, you get 50-60 min. SOT per hour on wifi and 20-30 min SOT per hour on 4g. This thread is also so subjective since not every app uses the same data amount ..
Cr droid ROM are super battery backup with no errors
Battery backup without kernel patch almost 1 day full uses
