Please help me with adw theme, i'm getting mad!

I'm making ADW theme from this template and tutorial: http://code.google.com/p/adw-launcher-android/wiki/ADWThemeGuide
I'm getting constant errors at:
src/x.x.x/main.jar
res/values/icon_pack.xml
I've followed everything correctly.
Has someone made an ADW theme from this tutorial?
Please help me, it's very important!

1. Unzip this attachment and replace the original src folder inside your workspace
2. Open Eclipse -> And select your project with project explorer -> Hit F5 to refresh.
3.According to the turotial

* Modify the app packagename and path (under \src\x.x.x & \gen\x.x.x, you should change it from x.x.x to your.package.name)
o On eclipse, look into your project explorer\package explorer, rightclick the x.x.x package and select "Refactor->Rename..." and follow the instructions.
o To open the package explorer window (if not already open) Click Window > Show View > Package explorer

4. Test your package.
I think this will work for the Java error.

Thanks a lot, it worked for the java error.
But, there's another error in res/values/icon_pack.xml . When I copy the lines to enable the icon pack, it's getting the error: "The markup in the document following the root element must be well-formed."
Do you know what's the problem?

I don't know where to ask this question but i'll give this a shot.
When making the theme, where do i store the dock background picture that i want to use for my theme? is it under drawables folder if so, what filename should i name it?

I don't know, sorry. I made my theme without dock background.

If u name ur docks provider right as the tutorial says then if u ad ur image to drawable hdpi like name it my_dock
In ur dock_pack xml. Do the <item>my_dock<item>
And when u reload u should have it in ur dock background under custom ur theme I think lol just started myself and just fixed that problem

Very nice theme, great work.
Renamed this theme, cause called "default" too an replace the default theme of my Mate7.

@Ingrimmsch But works, but not just the pure Rename.
- Rename topic
- Open With unpacker (not unpack!)
- The description.xml unpack.
- Click right and select Edit.
<title> XXXXX </ title>
<title-cn> XXXXX </ title-cn>
X is only symbolically here, forgive it its own name.
Now click File - save go under. Observe, select below text file in all files!
Now push the changed description.xml in the zip.
Now the topic has its own name and identity.

Notification panel - shortcuts customize 50℅ works :"P

I wanted to increase the shortcuts number in notifications panel ..
Then I found some prob.build tweaks ..
"" They increase number of columns and rows of shortcuts ""
I added them .. rebooted.. they worked! But the number of shortcuts stills 9 .. see the attached screenshot..
Any idea to show all shortcuts ? :""(
This can be enabled in kangvip rom easily .. if someone can upload the prob.build file from it .. we may find away

I guess there should be an option to choose the visible items ....
where did you find this file?

Do you think it is also possible to change the height of the panel, like for example not making it fullscreen?

i add this line of code on my file build.prop on my huawei p8 and worked. must work same for huawei p8 lite (i'm on stock)

I tried this on my G7, and it didn't work either ? I'm sure that in the KangVip ROM, the SystemUI has been modded to change the shortcuts panel. Unfortunately, there is no KangVip ROM for my device, so I'll be stuck with only 9 shortcuts, unless I downgrade back to Lollipop. I would really love to know what Huawei was thinking when they limited the shortcuts to only 9. ? And in order to actually use the rest, you have to swap it with one of the other shortcuts. ??

Open with theme editor. Then save. This works for me

Theme is great,however it does not fully work on Mate 9 Pro.
It has some issues:
1. It does not covers contacts and settings
2. When app asks for new permission it is displayed with black text on black background - so it is unreadable.
3. In contacts context mentu text is displayed with white font on white background - so it is unreadable.
4. On main screen if you have folder grouping apps - it has white background when you expand it - white icons are invisible

Change fonts

Is there a way to change fonts? I bought the substratum app and tried the Team Wings app. It works as long as I don't change themes. The moment I change themes via the Samsung Themes app, the installed fonts vanish and there is no way bring them back short of reinstalling the whole thing.
Any tips would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

Wing fonts work without substratum. Download fonts you want, install, reboot then apply. And it will stick even after rebooting or changing themes.

Try with theme galaxy app. On landing page if you swipe right there are options for building themes with just icons and fonts.
The icons do not persist across themes, but the fonts do, at least for me on Oreo 8.1.
If you are on Oreo and want to use Wingdonts without substratum you will need to give permissions with adb first. The xda Team Wings page has detailed instructions.

Download .TTF Font file
Open ES File Explorer
Go to your downloaded .TTF Font File.
Long press and change name to 10 characters or less
Remember File Location
Open Afont App and Press (+)
Press the ‘Create a New Font’ button.
Insert original .TTF Font name in 'Font Name’ box.
Type an identifying name for 'Package Name’
Select the ‘Compatibility Font’ box and find the Android version installed on your device(Text above ‘Compatibility Font’ box has your Android Device information)
Press the ‘Continue’ button in the lower right hand corner to create the Font file that compatible with the Note 9.
Review the 'Done’ pages info on the Name of the Font/Package(Names will be final when you select one of the three options)
Select 'Install Font’ box to begin your Font Apk Download.
Pop-up window advices you to restart your device upon finishing download. Press 'Continue’
Apk Installer will open.
Select 'Install’ in the bottom right corner.
Select 'Done’
Restart Phone
Open System Settings_Display_Font and Screen Zoom.
Scroll to the Fonts and Select Newly Created Font from List.
Press the 'Done’ box
