Is there any way to divide WhatsApp notifications for chats, as on aosp/Los ROMs? I mean, on miui with two fingers you can expand notification, but if there are more than one chat you can't use quick reply, while on aosp based ROMs you can divide notification in chat and so you can use quick reply. It would also be great to expand notification with one only finger ? don't say to use Los, I need miui camera quality ? so is there any mod for miui or any rom based on miui that let me do this?

Can you specify your problem.
I don't experiencing any issue's.
Can you explain more please
I've the same problem. For example when i'm on whatsapp the screen returns to the previous page whitout pressing any key
Happens to me with Strava as well. Not all the time, but randomly.
Also some text coming up with a grey background, instead of white. Can also be seen in settings > display > font size, at least for me anyway.
Only bugs I've noticed so far, running EMUI 5 since yesterday.
Hi all,
this morning I updated to the last Global Stable version, 9.2.1.0. Among the many new things, the main I was expected was the new notification shade, with grouped notifications, quick replies, etc etc.
However I still see the old system...
Is it only me? If not, is there any option to set/modify?
Thank you in advance

was the new notification shade included in the 9.2.1.0 changelog? maybe a clean install / factory reset with clean install could help.
Thanks for your answer jbmc,
I've read this article on XDA:
https://www.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-miui-9-2-global-stable-rollout/
Where is clearly written:
Most of the other changes are aesthetic. MIUI 9.2’s revamped notifications shade features bundled notifications, which group multiple notifications together on a per-app basis, and quick reply, an Android Nougat-like option that allows you respond to SMS messages and emails directly from the corresponding notification
However looking better at Mi Max 2 changelog there are only some referrals about "UI improvements", without specifying anything clear about notifications.
A bit confusing for a MIUI newbie like me . Starting to like the MIUI however still strongly convinced that Android "stock" is better at the end, meaning I feel much more free to change and adapt to my tastes the phone.
At the moment, only Global Developer ROM has the new notification shade.

Thanks for confirmation! Now I've "simply" to decide if wait for it in Global Stable, switch to Global Developer, or wait for a 8.1 AOSP/AOKP Rom...
Hi.
I'm running a clean flash of eu miui 9.6.20 and the ambient display doesn't show any incoming notification icons (gmail, WhatsApp, SMS).
I tried changing the notification to icons, and all kinds of other changes and none helped.
If someone here had the same problem and was able to fix it by changing some settings, I'd be happy to here about it.
Thanks!
It is not a problem, it is a decision of Xiaomi. If you install xiaomi eu you can see all notifications for all apps

I don't understand... I was using EU MIUI when I asked the question
Xiaomi eu, i don't know what do you mean with "eu miui", shows all notifications, if you have the one i said there is an issue, try format.

We're taking about the same ROM; when I google for it I type eu MIUI, but yes - your name is the accurate one.
Anyway - I found the solution: I had 'skip screen lock' enabled ( it is under developer options).
Disabling this option got all the notification icons back to AOD.

Mind taking a screenshot of the option. I just want to verify if I really don't have it on mine. Cause I can't seem to find it

Odd, mine is greyed out, no wonder I thought it's not there. Particularly hard to read it when in dark mode and lowest brightness lol.
It seems disabled. But doesn't show all notifications in aod. Also seems like u're running same OS as me

Is there a Module that can replicate the MIUI Gesture into our AOSP ROM's? I mean you know how the MIUI Gesture works right some users prefer it than Google Implement their Gesture.

As you may already know, Android Pie introduced a "feature" that defines what happens with a notification in notification tray after we use Reply option for that particular notification, meaning that if we receive a notification and reply using the 'reply' feature of the notification, the notification and reply both persist in the system notification tray.
This "feature" really annoys me and it's an important reason for me to stick to MIUI based ROMs, because in these ROMs this feature is absent.
So, I'm asking the people that have the know-how:
Is it possible for end user to remove this "feature" from an AOSP based ROM for Mi 9T Pro? As long as Xiaomi did it, it can be done. Is it hard to remove it? Does it involve "things" that only ROM developers could acquire?
From what I've seen, notification persists in miui 12 after replying, atleast for Discord
