[Q] GR-12 vs Continuum

So, I'm not a complete noob, been flashing roms since around February.
I do however have a noob-ish question, that I've put off asking for awhile now, in hopes that I would find an answer first!
I absolutely adore Cezar's roms (I wonder if he's single... oh wait, wrong forum) and I like Serendipity VII as well.... but neither seem to have the battery life that GR-12 does on my phone. (definitely more than 18-20 hrs)
So, I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions and or first hand on this? I want to rock Continuum, but battery life is important for me... sometimes at work without the opportunity to charge.
I like GR-12 also, don't get me wrong... but the newer stuff comes with bells n whistles.... and yet, that damned battery gets in the way!
Thanks!

Wrong forum????
there are little things you can do to help save battery life and also apps in the market to aid with this sort of thing. I don' think your gonna be able to have the rom of your choice with the battery life of your choice .. how sweet that would be though.
Some kernels allow for UV and that will save you a little battery.. also make sure you don't have a lot of apps running at once.. or you status bar only has icon's up there that need to be.
Thanks Corey!!!

[Q] BenzROM V6 or DMod v5

Hi guys
I wanted to flash one of these two cfw on my girlfriends phone.
The thing is that I have limited time to try out both firmwares and I want to know which one you guys prefer.
Tried out both, but honestly I dont know which one to take
Both run pretty smooth in my opinion, but the rom wont be updated on her phone anymore.
Another side question if you dont mind: Is there a good way to have a better network connection for interneting or even improved battery usage??
Dont know if I should flash the Goldenkernel, since im afraid that its unstable or even unefficient.
Let me know about your experience!
Thanks in advice
Dmod V5
dmod v5 is definetly better than benz. and i tried both of them. benz is laggy.
dmod has cool features from s4. internet works great on it(if you have a good wireless router, or data plan).
battery life is very good. i got 4 days and 12 hours on it and still got 24% battery left. and i didn't use power saving.
tryed all roms for s3 mini. even cyanogenmod 10 (which is beta).
this is the best custom rom for sure.

Theres no which is better or which is not, its based on personal preference, do you want the S4 feel or just stock samsung with Benz status bar which i dont like that much so i went back to enox instead
Dont flash the golden kernel, its kinda buggy and still in early development, i recommend flashing CrossBreeder which i dont really know if it helps with lags

Possible with only phone calls, messaging and low usage of wifi/3G
Thank you for your answers!
Flashing dmod5 then,
love you guys :victory:
These topics are pointless. Ask in the ROM thread, don't create a new one just to ask a question...
Just give them both a try :good:

[Q] Does Anyone Know Samsung Galaxy S5 AT&T Variant Lollipop Root ?

I want a perfect rom on my phone a stock lollipop rom and I can't do that without root. I mean have you seen this TouchWiz Oh My Lawd it's horrible, it eats so much ram battery life terrible and sometimes my phone overheats. If anyone could point me to a thread where they found the root or is working on the root and have it. I'll make a donation to the Mastermind who discovered it.

L23 Battery Backup on 4.2.2

Hi guys,
I bought this phone L23 in exchange with nexus 5 32gb 1. 5 years used.. I bought this after knowing that no updates for this good phone except to stuck on 4.2.2.
As I am a Android M user, i should feel very bad about this lg software but seriously i didn't find much hate after couple of days usage.. I always wish for more development for this beast but it is what it is no one gonna do it.. No one wastes time on this old device.. There is no point also.
Meanwhile i tried Japanese rom sphix on this but root doesnt work, i tried alternate root method it worked but wifi and data issues(wifi and data deep sleep issues after rooting).. I don't know what happened but there are issues i reverted back to stock rooted..
So i prepared my mind to stick with 4.2.2 and started using.. I pretty much satisfied with it now.. Loved the battery life, as i rooted this i preferred stock setting we have everything in lg software.. I didn't installed greenify etc because we already had beast battery..
I ended up getting excellent battery life.. Heavily used but still managed to get 6+ hrs screen on time.. Check screenshots..
No one cares for this thread.. Still im in a mood to write appreciate this phone..

New life to Galaxy TAB P1000; what to do, which ROM ?

Hi there,
I've just got back my first tablet ever; it has been used from my mum the past two years.
Now, it looks really old and I would like to give him a new life.
What do you think ? can it be still used ? With a different ROM can be a bit faster ? Which ROM do you suggest me to install ???
THANKS a lot in advance
Cheers
Steve
