Can anyone help me? My phone started to present this problem yesterday, I already tried the original rom, everything works fine in the odin, but after restarting the problem persists, I already tried to install some recoverys and even then I can not enter the screen to make the wipe or resets, I noticed Also that despite the numerous attempts the part CUSTOM BINARY DOWNLOAD is always "NO" someone knows what it can be and would have some guidance to give?
You could try to flash a "repair firmware". If that won't work I'm afraid it's a hardware failure.

Hi all
Hope someone on here can help with this
Just got the SGS and i updated the firmware to I9000XXjM1 via Kies which all seem to go well until i rebooted my phone and now it just comes up with errors (you know the one in a blue box saying Sorry unexpected error) everytime i try to run an app ! Ive tried a factory reset via the one in privacy settings and the one on boot up by holding volume key, home and power but neither have any affect what so ever.
So i had some help over on samsunggalaxysforums.com to reflash the phone which i have done but still no joy its still exactly the same as before the reflash but the strangest thing is that the phone is still exactly the same as before the reflash i.e its still got all the apps that i installed, still got wallpapers i downloaded, still trying to sign into facebook, its as though the reflash hasn't done anything
Completely baffled now !!
Would really appreciate some help
Thanks in advance
Anyone ?
make sure to select the box "repartition" in Odin when you are flashing any ROM

Hi,
I have a problem with gt-i8190. It has a gesture lock, which I've forgotten.
So I thought I could wpie data/factory reset, but I cant't enter Recovery Mode.
I tried this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&highlight=cwm (the 2mb part)
While flashing with ODIN, it seemed to work. Odin succeeded.
But on S3 Mini Screen I got this error message: "movi-write card_status:2 ...."
After Reboot, nothing changed.
Phone boots up normally. Gesture lock is still there.
Same happens if I flash a whole stock rom via ODIN. I tried this stock ROM: HOME_I8190XXAMG4_I8190OXAAMG4_1332988_REV00_user_l ow_ship.tar.md5
After flash, nothing changed.
Maybe someone is willing to help?
Thanks in advance.

after several attempts of entering the wrong password you should get a google password recovery
if not
then try loading up twrp or cwm using odin and try wiping like that
Hi,
I have similar problem.

No luck.
Still getting "card_status:2 (xxx) start (xxxx)"
And the phone is "freezed":
- it boots up, let me whatever I want...
- but NO changes are saved.
I tried to upload lots of ROMs (officials and not) with ODIN, but allways the same: the flash seems to be protected.
I even tried the USB jig, but nothing.
Any idea?

Try the full 2-file firmware together with pit-file and re-partition ticked in odin.
If that won't work I guess your nand is damaged.

Same result. It seems to be write-protected.
The only file it seems to admit (without showing the Red message "card_status:2..." ) is PARAM.LFS .
Any other file it is not written :crying:

Are you on Official or does it say custom? How many binary counts? I think the eMMC chip is damaged since mine had a similar problem and it had bricked on CM11 so it couldn't even boot! When I trying to restore the stock firmware it showed 'movi-write card_status:2' in red letters
Same thing with me, any success
Pls i need answer, i try follow this steps http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3-verizon/help/qa-unbrick-soft-bricked-galaxy-s-iii-t2914031
but without success, pls expert guys, help us
Same problem :'( waiting for months who can solve my problem too, this is my thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3-mini/help/factory-reset-cwm-t3230792
Hi,
I have a S5 Mini which hangs on the "Samsung" logo. I tried wiping the cache and did a factory reset but it doesn't help. I tried removing the battery for couple of minutes, removed SIM, SD card nothing helps.
What can i do? I've never rooted or installed a custom ROM but I'm willing to try I have a technical background (Java web developer). I just need a place to start. What are my options? It's a T-mobile branded phone I don't know if that is relevant or not. Oh i forgot it says "No command" when i enter the recovery mode.
Use Odin to flash the current stock ROM you have for your phone model (make sure the ROM is meant for the exactly phone model you have). You may have to flash it twice to work. If it doesn't or you get errors in Odin you may have a hardware problem...

Thanks I was able to found the ROM for my phone and my provider. Flashed with Odin and it booted after the first try. Thank you.
Hi all,
My MIL has an s20 FE 5G. it was apparently downloading an update last month when it just froze. It goes into a bootloop, and i've tried factory reset, flashing new firmware via ODIN, and anything else i can think of(i'm no tech genius, but i can follow instructions pretty well). It will only ever bootloop a couple times, then go blank until i restart it in either bootloader, recovery or download mode. She has another phone, but is this one now just a brick, or is there something else i can do?
attached are some pictures that show basically everything i can see.
thanks
you say it froze when downloading but that shouldn't be an issue, it's once it's started flashing that update you don't want it freezing.
you didn't say what happens when you tried flashing with Odin. obviously it failed but that could be because you were flashing the wrong fw or fw that's too old now. it should say something in the Odin onscreen log for why it failed.

Hi,
I'll send a picture later when I get a chance, but it's apparently flashing just fine..I get no error messages from Odin. It states success, but then the phone just continues with the bootloop when I restart

Hi again,
just tried again. no luck.
you don't need to flash userdata just BL, AP, CP and CSC. if it's still looping it could be a hardware failure of some kind, time to use that warranty.

Hello again
tried again, no luck. might be time to give up. i had read a few places that using the actual samsung cord could make a difference. is this true, even though its flashing just fine?

if it's saying PASS there's nothing more that needs to happen normally.
take it to get looked at, that's why we have warranties.
