First flash this via method
http://googleweblight.com/i?u=...il/index.htm?id=91646&grqid=RQ4NtzUi&hl=en-IN
Than Download B210 or 220 firmware via Firmware finder (Full Package)
Than flash B220 or B210 via dload
You will find firmware finder app on Play Store
If you satisfied with me than Hit the like button

LINK is not working

[P8 Lite] Updating the huawei p8 lite when it rootes

Hello, what going to append if i update my rooted phone on B136 to B170 because i readed that if i update with OTA Update my phone can go in a bootloop. Thanks for the answer.
It might be possible. Do not update ota when you are rooted. Download the latest firmware from huawei-updates.ru for your specified model, take the zip into your sdcard in a folder named dload ( you can create it if you dont have it) and go to updater, local update and select it.
Thanks ! and like that I'm not gonna have any problem ?
And and I can directly go to B170 or not?

I made that you say but didn't worked ... thanks for the help .
Keep it in that folder and try to force update by powering down your phone and power it up pressing vol up+ down and power button
Thanks it worked !
No problem sir, here to help
Nooo! don't know why but my phone go to a bootloop.... tried everythink....
Hmm, try to plug in it an usb cable and flash an old firmware for it trough adb.
Can you give me some link to do that ? and thanks !
U need adb toolkit, a version of b170, search on huawei-updates.ru , prefferably the european version. Get huawei package extractor and extract from update.app found in the zip of b170, system.img, cust.img, boot.img,recovery.img. and flash them one by one in fastboot mode. If not, if u had a nandroid backup made with twrp u can restore. U can search google on a detailed guide to do that, as I may induce you in error, not a native explainer talent here
Or you can extract it and flash automatically all in one clic with a script(for all firmware )

I got to beta 6.0, installed twrp, root it, but it did not permanently, uninstall some system app (google+, maps, etc) after a few reboots superSU was asking for binaries; so I unroot it.
How can I get back to stock recovery? And if so, If I make a factory reset, would it boot correctly for a new setup (because of the erased apps earlier).
Thanx mates, regards

the main point is I can boot into bootloader and rescue mode but i can't unlock bootloader....because the device's bootloader looked and also can't not use Hisuite to restore the firmware....so I'm very frustrate now.....:crying:
If I remember correctly even if FRP lock is enabled it should still allow official Huawei Firmware to be flashed onto the phone. It just means that you will need to enter most likely a google username and password (that was used to enable factory reset protection on the device) during the device initial setup wizard screen after the phone boots up for the first time after firmware flash / factory reset.
Though it is weird that you can't do the firmware flash via the system recovery option in hisuite. The device should be able to boot into system recovery mode (fastboot mode) right?
What happens when you try to do it? Does some error message come up?

Huawei P9 Soft-bricked, no OS, has TWRP

I have soft-bricked my Huawei P9, and i would like to go back to the stock rom. I have access to TWRP, but I don't know how I can flash the stok rom from it. With Huawei Update Extractor I was able to get these files: BOOT.img, RECOVERY.img, CUST.img and SYSTEM.img. Do I just flash these with fastboot? Or how can I go back, without dload? Thanks.

It's too late now but at the time when you had your stock ROM and you installed TWRP, you should have made backup of all partitions in TWRP - now, you will just restore stock partitions and voilla.
From FirmwareFinder download b386 build but it MUST BE FullOTA-MF-PV (not the incomplete MF one), and install by DLOD, 3-button boot method. It will hard-reset firmware (but also recovery) to the stock b386

Make sure you press both Volume keys together, and not after you press Power key.
Nevertheless, you can flash stock recovery img (adb/fastboot, same way as flashing TWRP), and you will get rid of TWRP

For the beginning (to obtain bootloader code, to debrand to c432) follow the guide:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/p9/how-to/guide-debranding-to-c432-updating-to-t3551523
However, once you successfully debrand and install c432 b182 (still Marshmallow) do not cotinue by manually installing b361 (the guide is old), rom b182 you will auomatically receive by OTA first b383 ((Nougat) and then b386

Are you already coming from EVA L09 c432, with Nougat? If so, follow instructions
https://forum.xda-developers.com/p9/development/rom-huawei-p9-magic-rainbow-t3601064
section (4) How to flash Firmware (b386), points 1-17
If you were on EVA l09, c432 but Marshmsllow, you should probably install b182 same way (then you will obtain OTA upgrades to Nougat).
If you are not on c432, you must debrand to c432... or you have to install your corresponding MM or N cXXX firmware.

You extract zip, put contents in external_sd/dload/
then boot using vol up + vol down + power. It's useful if you manage to brick or want to rebrand.
Or want to rollback from Oreo to Nougat.
---------- Post added at 10:54 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:23 PM ----------
Phew. Thanks to these dload images...
I was going to update to Oreo again to try some stuff to get Magisk running.
I downloaded Oreo Beta from pro-teammt.ru using Linux. Little did I know the update.zip was corrupt (Later I tried downloading multiple times using both browser and wget, different MD5 each time so something is up with my computer).
So I updated like usual using HWOTA. It started installing, I don't know how long it got to, but I was presented with a screen that said PLEASE REDOWNLOAD PACKAGE USING RECOVERY.
So I rebooted. ERROR MODE. Now I'm scared... I googled "Mate 10 release date" just in case, lol.
I rebooted to fastboot mode, thankfully it still worked. I had to unlock bootloader again. Now I tried flashing stock B197 recovery, FAILED: (remote: partition length get error).
I tried the same with boot. Same result.
Then I figured out it probably had the new Oreo partition names for boot and recovery, and thankfully those flashed fine.
So flashed TWRP for Oreo, flashed oeminfo for AL00C00 using dd. Flashed ERECOVERY partitions using dd as well, just in case.
Back to bootloader to unlock again after flashing oeminfo, then flashed back stock recovery_ramdisk.
Then placed dload folder on external sd and booted up using vol up+down+power
Now my Mate 9 is booting up again!
Where L09 ..??

In other words, flash AL00 oeminfo.bin, use AL00 dload. Then rebrand back to L29C432 using Hwota. It's currently the only free way of rolling back to Nougat.

I've change some things in system. It's there a problem to use dload if I have change system?
Also I've to have dload on external sdcard right?
So the steps are:
Flash oeminfo.bin info
Then use erecovery and dload right

It doesn't check system or any other partition so it will install.
Yes, ext sd:/dload/files from AL00C00(B115 is what I used) dload rar.
Extract dload rar, place all files on external SD in dload folder.
Flash AL00C00 oeminfo.bin. use vol up+vol down+power to boot, make sure USB is unplugged else it will stuck on 5%.
After you will have to rebrand back to L29C432 using HWOTA.

Thanks my dear friend I'm at beta oreo and it's running amazing but I think I'll have to go back to N so I can make new updates since Oreo doesn't have patched recovery yet.

@ante0 where or how do I flash oeminfo.bin? Via twrp? With a flashable zip?

Oeminfo in this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-9/how-to/guide-rebrand-chinese-al00-mate9-to-t3554656 can be restored as a backup. That's probably the easiest way.
Alternative, copy and flash using dd.
cp /external_sd/MHA-AL00C00. bin /tmp/oeminfo.bin
dd if=/tmp/oeminfo.bin of=/dev/block/sdd5

Hi bro can you send me oeminfo of chinese version of p8 lite 2017/honor 8 lite????
I want to rebrand my phone
ante0 said:
You extract zip, put contents in external_sd/dload/
then boot using vol up + vol down + power. It's useful if you manage to brick or want to rebrand.
Or want to rollback from Oreo to Nougat.

Hi, I'm having a similiar issue. I can't flash any recovery using fastboot (FAILED: (remote: partition length get error). , I'm on emui 5.0.1 android 7.0 (phone works perfectly fine), is possible to flash TWRP recovery using DD? if so, how? it's my first time doing this with a huawei phone and I want to try oreo beta
UPDATE:
Bricked it, can't flash recovery, only fastboot, can't force update neither, any idea?

recovery is named recovery_ramdisk on Oreo.
So fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk twrp.img
Make sure you flash twrp from the oreo thread.
If you're on Nougat recovery partition is named recovery, so:
Fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
Twrp is in the regular twrp thread.
You can only use dd in twrp, not using fastboot.
If you tried updating to Oreo I would try both recovery and recovery_ramdisk.

You should be able to get updates if you are on the Oreo beta, update checks for stock recovery and won't update if you are on a custom or patched recovery, system update would just see you as updating from beta to release version, beta and release versions are both official ROMs so I don't think you would have any issues with updating as long as the device brand is the same.
plz help sir

I did what you have described above ... flashed oreo twrp successfully but when tried to boot into TWRP it never boots into TWRP ( only a screen appears having three options : 1. Reboot system now 2. Wipe data/factory reset 3. Wipe cache partition.
I'm neither able to perform wipe data/factory reset nor able to wipe cache( it goes to 40% and gives error)
Struck here for more than 15 days...any help will be highly appreciated.

You do have Oreo, right?
TWRP should fail to install if you don't have Oreo (unless you're flashing it to recovery and not recovery_ramdisk).
But it sounds to me like it's not installing at all, since you're ending up in stock recovery.
Make sure you use "fastboot flash" , not "fastboot boot"
