I just have to send my OP3T back for RMA, so I decided to lock it's bootloader, remove the dm verity warning, etc., to make sure it looks like an original one. The process involved flashing OOS 3.5.4 back to my phone and when I booted it up, I was surprised to see an "Android Pay" icon in my application list, which I never saw so far (not on the original phone, not when I flashed other stock OS versions). At the end of the process I updated OOS 3.5.4 to 4.1.6 via local update and the Android Pay icon is no longer there.
Does anybody know why? Is Android Pay no longer part of Oxygen OS? Is there a way to get it back?
Thanks!
Yeah, the app is probably frozen. You'd need to unfreeze it by using some app manager or soemthing like TitaniumBU or that warez app, idk if I should be naming it.
Android Pay is not yet available in all countries and banks. It is still on your phone but hidden. Even if you get it back, it might not work if it is not available in your country.
However, there is a way to get it back. This worked for me, not sure whether this will work for you.
1. Install XDA app.
2. Navigate to Apps screen.
3. Check for updates.
4. If you are having an older version of Android Pay on your phone you will be able to see Android Pay with update option.
5. Update the app via XDA application.
6. Once this is done, you can launch Android Pay.
I am from India and not sure whether this worked because Google has plans to launch Android Pay in India.

I hope am not duplicating posts ... is there any way one can revert to the old build? The new one 0.4.1.26 is really buggy. Thanks

Are you rooted? If not, then the version of GV which came with your stock ROM is definitely still there. Go to Market and find Google Voice, and it should give you the option to uninstall updates. If you're rooted it may still be there too depending on how you have or haven't modified the phone.
If there is a specific build you want that is newer than the one on your ROM, you may have to hunt for it.
I am rooted. Had disabled the auto update. Flashed with CM 6 and installed froyo apps with it and had the option to uninstall updates. Restored a certain back up from sdcard and that somehow made it pull the update. Now that uninstall updates option is now gone. Will hunt. Thanks.

If you know the release date of the current version, maybe you can try to find a Gapps zip from shortly before that date. Open it up and grab the .apk you want, and replace the one in the system apps directory.

Thanks. It's the build number I really needed. Found one here.
OK, so I'm putting these up all in one place. This way you can stop asking for them in various threads. I'll add others as I discover need to add them.
My Verizon only works on VZW based ROMs.
6/27 Only works with PlainJane v3 AFAIK 6/27. GB ROMs will need to wait for a new base leak most likely.
6/30 Update - Older version works again. Download MyVerizon.apk for the older version that works on most newer ROMs. the com.vzw.hss.myverizon-1.apk will only work on the MR2 based ROMs.
VVM (visual voicemail) - Works on all versions of everything as far as I know. It also fixes the notification issues that people are having with voicemails on bamf roms. (your account must have it enabled for it to work, $3 a month.) - Apparently doesn't work with the Thunderstick ROM or CM7 1.2. Not sure what got changed in this most current build, but it definitely broke VVM. Thunderstick has some conflicting files baked in that break it.
Flash 10.2 edited for use with hulu.com as well. If you don't use it for hulu you won't see any difference. CM7 users rejoice? Just make sure you don't accidentally update it via market or you'll lose in browser flash video again and need to re-install this.
If you're having issues with a particular file, please post what ROM you're running. I'm trying to narrow down possible culprit ROMs.
If these files help you, don't forget about the "Thanks" button
Enjoy.
6/25 - Re-uploaded VVM.apk since a couple people seem to be having issues with it. I even deleted it off my phone and re-downloaded it via this attachment to check to make sure it went through properly. Since there are only the 2 people commenting that it didn't work out of 100+ downloads of the file, I'm going to assume that something happened on your end not mine (make sure you have unknown sources checked in your application settings and/or re-download?), but re-uploaded and tested nonetheless.
6/26 - Had to pull My Verizon due to an update today that breaks it for us. No current working version known for Thunderbolt.
6/27 - Ok, so the structure is there in the MR2 froyo update (plainjane v3) so I'm putting the current apk up. I need to figure out what i need to strip out of MR2 to make it work for other ROMs.
6/29 - Added Skype
6/30 - Changed Skype File location to Fyels.com for more bandwidth.
6/30 - Re-Posted the older My Verizon APK. No idea what VZW is up to on their end, but it no longer prompts for update locking us out. We'll see how long that lasts.
7/5 - Fixed Broken link for skype. Added bold text to netflix description to make it more obvious that it doesn't work on unrooted/froyo phones...
7/8 - Added Flash 10.2 (is also edited for use with hulu.com) for CM7 users.
7/20 - Removed netflix. It is now natively supported.
7/20 - Updated VVM to newer build version.
8/5 - Removed skype. Natively supported.
Good post. Good idea.
My Verizon app not working on my stock T- bolt. Pop up says not supported on this device. Did you mean all *rooted* Verizon based ROMs?

Hulu plus is not currently supported on the tbolt (hence i won't put it in the op til then). If you want to mess with it, here's the apk. You can manage queues etc but you cannot play video. You will get a "device not supported yet" type error. You may be able to edit the build.prop to get it running by tricking it into thinking you have a different (supported) device but the idea to this thread is to not hack/edit things to get them working.

Not on the market for T-Bolt, and sorry...I missed the GB in the thread title (linked here from another thread).
At the risk of being accused of threadjacking, somebody saw my post and sent me a link for a MyVerizon app that works on a stock T-Bolt. (Thanks Zinsko!) So in case somebody makes the same mistake as me and wants the same answer, It's here

I had my concerns, but my Lookout Mobile gave it a thumbs-up, and it seems to work as it's supposed to. But thanks for the warning.
Tried installing vvm but no dice...tried installing as a apk tried dropping in system app tried renaming it. all I get is app not installed do I need to change permissions?
Anyone have luck with the VVM APK? Can't get it to install at all. Using BAMF 2.1. Tried a straight APK install and just dropping it into the sytem/app folder via root explorer.

And yes, I did change permissions. Would really love to get this working, as I have to use VZW VVM for work. Thanks.
All I do is install it like anything else. Looks like this.
Make sure you have unknown sources checked. I'll reupload it when I get home if people are still having issues. I've installed it on every version of bamf that didn't include integrated Vvm and cm7.

I am very happy that this is thread came out cuz I've been tryin to leave Froyo but those 3 major apps were an issue w/GB and it looks like no more issues. Am on the latest Gingeritis and all those apps work anyway so I'll cnfirm the truth about this thread once I decide to test the other GB roms again. Great thread though OP. Much props to you. If you can somehow make the HTC messaging widget bug leave GB as well, You'd be even more of a hero
When I try to launch the My Verizon app on Bamf 3.0 RC3 it says there is an updated version of the My Verizon app in the market. If I select upgrade, it launches the market, but can not find the app. If I select cancel, it closes the My Verizon app. Is anyone else having this problem?

I have a 920C and want to put Microsoft Word on it. The play store says my phone is not compatible. Is this because of the CSC and if so, can I change it (preferably without root)?
The current CSC is EGY; I am using it in the UK on Three.
Before you ask, I don't want to put one of the alternatives to Word - it has to be Word itself.
Thanks

Just download the APK, links below:
Word - http://www23.zippyshare.com/v/J1NGdeFD/file.html
Excel - http://www37.zippyshare.com/v/DJtFyMbB/file.html
Got both on my 920C and work fine. Not sure if they'll update via play store but they are the latest versions.
Someone else had this issue & I confirmed the same "device not compatible on the play store" on my N920T. I tried installing the microsoft apks from my stock ROM (BOH4) & for some reason they would fail to install when I was on BOH6.
Anyways, install it from the Samsung Galaxy App store, the Microsoft apps installed just fine for me there. I'm not a fan of those apps though & prefer using the old Quick Office Pro app better.
It isn't pre-installed in your device? I had the Microsoft apps pre-installed in mine. Strange =/

THIS IS FOR ANDROID 6.0+ ONLY!!!
This is mod I use on my LG V10.
Package was originally created as an add-on for Eliminater74's Rom.
I just ported it over as a flashable zip for my use but I figured I'd share.
Put zip on your external sd card and flash from twrp.
You will get a few "BlackBerry services not working " in the beginning but they will soon go away after some usage. These apps were on the BlackBerry Priv and are pretty useful especially the Hub. If there are some apps you don't like, just uninstall or freeze with titanium backup.
There is a launcher, contacts, calendar, bbhub, password keeper..... just a bunch of stuff.
Enjoy

Do you use titanium backup? If so, under preferences you can use market doctor to attach app links to play store and that should help. But, j700h is outside the U.S.? That might be the issue but I can't say for sure. Try market doctor and let me know please.
Thanks.

Yes, installed the Blackberry Manager by Colbalt and it lets you install all the apps.
I prefer however downloading the folders from Colbalt (just check one of the previous posts on the thread) and install the apps I like (blackberry hub, calendar and keyboard) -the rest are just average (contacts on MM is way better than that of BB)

Hey all!
The only reason I changed to Samsung M21 was my need to read notes on my phone I wrote in Samsung Notes on other device (Samsung Galaxy Tab S4). And I was very surprised and disappointed, when I reallized they don't allow to update Samsung Notes app on M21 to the latest version. Now it's 3.* on M21 and 4.* on Tab S4, so it even doesn't show me my notes. It is funny, but cheaper A20 has 4.* version. It returns with error if I try to install latest .apk of the app, Galaxy Store shows only 3.*.
Are here any solutions? Maybe, some custom ROM or kinda forced installing?
Probably because M21 has One UI Core. Sadly, there's nothing you can do about it if you're not rooted.
Thank you for the answer, Fredin_. It is no problem to root the phone, isn't it? My previous phones were rooted, so I had a little experience. Could you please tell more about solutions after I do it.

It shouldn't be a big deal, nothing is broken for me and banking apps work after hiding the magisk app, using magisk hide and passing safetynet, though I did come across one app that refused to work.
You need to disable signature verification somehow (the easiest way would be to use luckypatcher) and install the apk using Split APK Installer using the root method. If that doesn't work, you can try installing the app as a system app, most apps should work with either of these methods.
But if you are happy with android 10, then an even better alternative would be to use Totsuka OS. It's a OneUI port, so you can just install stuff from the galaxy store or playstore.

Ditch SNotes now or it will bite you even harder. Samsung is notorious for lack of legacy support with this apk, as I know all too well. Cut&pasted more of these notes than I care to remember to salvage them
I use ColorNote now. You can hyperlink directly from them so you can use it for saving bookmarks too. It will store backups on a SD card and you can export backups to the PC.
This app it's self doesn't need internet connection to function... in fact I always block it with Karma Firewall.
Save an installable copy of it if you decide to use it... never trust Playstore.
