Which free gift are you selecting and why?
no choosing here. i will get the dex station for free which is pretty good i think
I want to i know too. Which one is worth more selling?
I'm just getting the SD card and wireless charger. Have no need for a 360 camera. Just feel they are useless in everyday use

When it comes to my country. If it comes with sd card i would go for that. Who needs external cameras now days since we have good dual camera phone.

360 cam will fetch more $.
Charger and card are more useful. Wish they offered better headphones as an option.
Going with the 360 camera. I have always wanted to use one but I couldn't justify the cost. I already have several fast wireless chargers and a 200gb micro SD card.
I already have a 256 sd from the n7 but im going to get the sd and wireless charger. Most people who will get the camera will get it to resell which in turn will drop the value. meaning you cant sell it for as much.

Priced already dropped from the deal with the S8/S8+
but that lower price is still higher than the resale value of the card and charger

Its msrp dropped. Its sale price is going to drop further once everyone is getting it for the n8 and wants to sell. Its gunna be all over ebay once the Gifts arrive.

The resale price already dropped from the S8/S8+ deal. Has nothing to do with the MSRP. I resold the one I got from buying my S8+ and that was when ebay was flooded with them.
It will only drop so much since people actually want the cam.
It's still worth more than the card and charger even with a flooded market.
I would never actually end up using the 360 camera, however I could definitely use a wireless charger and some free memory..
Micro SD card and charger, I have no interest in the camera. I just wish there was a watch available like they offered with the Note 7. Last year I chose the 256GB Micro SD. But, I can always use more memory.
lol, everybody trying to justify why this or that.
i bought the VR setup for the note8 and the 360 cam will come in handy. im a camera op and this tech is right up my alley.
i already have the 256 (2017 edition) samsung evo and i haev a 50 dollar fast charge sammy charger, so for me the camera was ideal!
Don't care about the camera and I would never actually use it. I will definitely use the charger. I'll just set it on my desk at work and keep my phone topped off all day. I can finally get rid of the charging cord plugged into my computer and the cheap plastic phone stand.
I wish that they were giving away a Gear 3 watch with the phone. I'd jump at that in a second.
I took the SD card and charger. the the charger was useful, and it's harder to find a legit card that's not fake on the market after all of this.. the camera would prolly flood the market like crazy bring price pretty low if i wanted to buy one .

Hey all,
Been a long-time lurker on these forums, and learned a TON. Thanks to all!
I got my Nook Color a few months back and loved it. Immediately took to the forums to install CM7 on it, and it runs flawlessly. I bought it for my work commute and I figured I would use it every day. Turns out, all I want to do is sleep on the train and I barely pick the thing up. It's a sweet little machine but I just never use it. I honestly think I've charged it less than 5 times in the months that I've had it. It's in absolute mint condition. When I got it, I also picked up a neoprene zip case for it and a 16gb micro sd card, which I'll throw in. I can leave it as-in, with CM7 installed on emmc, or return it to stock. I even have the original box and the papers it came with. It's running 7.1RC1 and has never been overclocked.
Thanks for looking!
How much are you selling it for?
I'd like to get $225 for it.
haha good luck man. try ebay or craigslist. i got mine brand new for 199 on ebay and sold it used for 175. they are 165 refurb right now
Price lowered to $200.
Includes wall charger, neoprene case, and 16gb micro sd card.
I got mine used for 180, with B&N leather case (which probably cost around $30) wall charger, car charger (generic obviously would have to drive car for 10hr to fully charge lol, still i could sell it for 5 bucks or use it for a cellphone) and a 8gb card which seems to be in bad shape, havent been able to format it (but this wasnt included in the description it was kind of a bonus item). So I guess i got a pretty good deal on it...
Mine comes with a B&N neoprene case (cost $20) and a 16 gb micro sd card that definitely works (cost $30).. I think $200 is a good asking price. I wasn't aware you could get refurbs that cheap. Mine was bought new and I barely used it.
@@@@@@deleyed
How much these puppies go for, I think I might upgrade to the n7.
Used, my guess would be $75-$100.
Look on Craigs list in your area for a few days. Pay attention to the prices of the ones that sell and ignore the jerk that wants $250 because he has a case and an extra blahblahblah. In my area we can still get $140 because I guess idiots can't google "refurb nook color".
seems that 110 is about the average price.
is the n7 worth it?
Just depends on what you use it for and if you need the power. It looks like the effort to get JB working on the Nook Color is going well, so I wouldn't be too worried about being completely left behind. I've been playing with my N7 and I love it. I thought about selling the NC, but instead I'm going to re-purpose it to be my media player/GPS/whatever in the car and use my N7 as my daily carry around.
mostly reading, PDFs, web, games.
You have 8 or 16? Okay without the SD slot
NC would be fine for that, except some of the heavy games.
8GB, I don't need the storage at the moment, and if I do down the road I can attach something.
I can get 110 for my nook. So another 90 aint too bad..
Will wait to see JB builds before I bite though

There's both the option to use a micro sd card in the slot for extra storage as well as the option to attach external usb devices through some software tweaks+root such as external hard drives, flash drives, keyboards, mouse's, etc.

I went onto the samsung website (canadian version) and checked some of the prices for note2 accessories and I was blown away how expensive they are. You'd think samsung would realize if they priced their accessories at a reasonable more people would purchase them.
for example $39.99 for their Note2 TPU cover. $49 for their MHL adapter. Before ebay or online shopping I could see companies charging these outrages prices but with ebay and the like who would buy some of this stuff from samsung when you can get less expensive versions?

This. I'm such a sucker for it.
My thought process: "Well, what's the difference between spending $200 or $300 on a phone when I'm paying thousands for the service? Might as well get the best one. And why did I buy a phone with removable battery and storage if I'm not going to buy a spare battery and spare battery charger, and a 64 gig microSD? Wow... I've got a lot invested in this thing. Better buy a case for every day use, and a tank of a case for when I go out. What's this... an app that I will use every day of my life for only $5? That's one drink out at the bars, I can swing that. An app for $0.99??? Might as well be free. Oh, and can't forget the car dock and charger, that's an essential."

You are right to tell people to be wary of the price, Especially in the case Custom Duties i.e. vat to added [collected at this end by PO], plus the minimal £8 Post Office Charge.

TheQuest
Samsung is expensive because they guarantee the products will fit and work 100% with the phone plus every manufacturer always charges more for their respective products. Example: htc charged around $40 for their mhl adapter and $50 or more for their tv dock. It's just a matter of finding items cheaper and hoping that if you buy generic it won't damage your phone and fits correctly. There are plenty of reputable companies that make accessories you can count on. Like otterbox, seidio, spigen, and many others.

So you think a $50 MHL cable is fine when it probably cost them 50 cents (maybe a dollar) to make in china. I'm all for a company making money/profit but that's kind of ridiculous.
For cases, I always hit up ebay. For the same price as a retail case, you could buy a dozen and try them all out!
For cables, chargers and batteries, however, I've been very hesitant to get them "cheap" because of the risk of damaging my device. After reading an article about various chargers and usb cables which showed that the third party/counterfeit brands have no consistency to them, I've stayed with trusted oem brands.

Sellers tend to have good rating for the quality of their service, not necessarily for the quality of their products.
$13 isn't bad though.. you should have maybe at least 6500mah combined from those three batteries.

I have a suspicion some of the sellers on Amazon get their shady rating count as well. It takes a second to create merchant account on Amazon and list anything already sold in there under the original manufacturer listing. Since I talk to a lot of accessories companies, a number of them complain about people selling fake ones under the same listing (very common with Spigen, UAG, Samsung batteries/headphones/chargers, and others). So you have to be very careful who is the actual seller of the product when you click to buy it. I notice some sell fake stuff, it's clearly listed as seller from China, and they got 100k feedback rating?!?
Personally, I try to look for those who sell with Prime option since it's covered by Amazon and often an OEM part they have in their warehouse.

Yes let us know how good they are. I have a $6 glass screen protector coming in a few weeks that I'll post pictures too of so people can compare to the $30 brand name ones. With wall charger you get ~1600mA which charges device in about 2.5hrs . The output of the one u bought is 1/4th (400 max) of the external charger so it would take 4x times longer than it would have taken with the wall charger(10 hours ) .

Well I'll be getting two Note8's this week and 2 dex.. No other choices in Portugal.. I'll let you know if it is worth it by the next weekend lol
If anyone with a DEX (or anyone that has a DEX coming) wants to trade for one of the US Pre-order Promos (Gear 360 or 128 Gb MicroSD + Wireless Charger) let me know!
I haven't registered for my promo yet, as I already have a few of the chargers and 256 Gb MicroSD's; but honestly don't ever see myself using the Gear 360.
If interested, send me a message and I'm sure we can figure something out!
Edit
I ordered one brand new on eBay and it was only 70 something bucks so you can't beat eBay. I should get it next week.
If youre not using it, it is definately not worth it!
If you use it it's worth the money. It did replace my PC, I only do office and internet stuff. And I have my PC on the go now...
Guys DeX as a pre-order bonus is only for customers in the Europe, for US it's... you know. I would rather go for the 360 Cam or the 128 gb microSD and wireless charger than DeX for which I don't have any use except of multimedia center at my TV but... Nah, I will sell it anyway, useless and rather get some money from it since in EU we don't have compensation for Note 7 owners.
Well we do but only a powerbank for few bucks and that's massive joke.
