When I download images from my gmail account it automatically saves to a folder called "download" and the files are automatically named "downloadfile," "downloadfile-1," "downloadfile-2" and so on. I would then move and rename the images I've downloaded into a different file to be more organized. BUT, when I download a new image from gmail, it appears in my Gallery as the image that was downloaded previously that shared the same "downloadfile" name. When I click on the image, the previous image appears for a second before the current image is shown. When I back out to tile view, the previous image appears again.
I've tried deleting the "download" folder but a new folder gets created when I download an new image and I still experience the same issue.
Has anyone else experienced this? How do I fix?
have you tried rebooting the device ?? ... i had a simmilar kind of an issue .. with a file showing up in the gallary when it was suppose not to show up in galary.. but a simple reeboot (switching off and switching on) got rid of the problem...
Yes, that was the first thing I've did (a few times too). I even took the battery out for good measure but I still have the same problem. :/

Then have it easy, the last instalte handle dft rom 7720 to bring a utility with which you can install applications through the internet xap directly on the phone, this would help you reinstall the application that has left your phone so, understand what I'm saying?

nstall the rom I said and then using data through wifi or internet access and the page where you downloaded the xap that have blocked the USB port, it is probably usbmodeswicht, reinstall the application and put it back in so zune .
Surely what's happened is that you have put diag mode.

Usbmodeswicht.xap installed using:
First option - Internet phone browser for the web where is the xap file, click with your finger on the file, download it and install it, again put it to zune and fixed.
Second option-rom Once you have installed using the qr code reader by clicking the eye icon in the browser that bing (magnifying glass), open the QR codes on your PC and read it with the phone, you automatically install the xap you have selected, ok?

There are multiple warnings to NOT install that xap as it pretty much breaks the phone. Your only real solution is to dig through this thread and see if there is a solution.
Apparently Xboxmod has found a solution near the end of the thread.
AND I REPEAT DO NOT RUN THE STORAGE TOOL XAP
It WILL mess up your phone.

Or a secret code

But this solution was not helpful.
My Problem and all who have this problem still not resolved.
I got up and test solutions that did not solve my issue:
1 - changingROM (several different ROM)
2 - changing memory (and its format)
3 - Factory Reset in Windows
4 - Connection Zone
5 - Use "WP7 Update Cab Sender" (because the space is needed) in the ROM 7713 (Must first be connected to the zone)
6 - install app of Internet Explorer (such as the need for space) in the ROM 7720
None of these solutions was not helpful
I do not know

Uh, why do you try to open files which you think are suspicious? That's just plain stupid. You should research first and only THEN open the file if it is confimed to be safe.

OH, and as for the file itself: Google does not return any results for "samsung.mmg-en.com", whereas ping reveals it actually goes to mimosa.mschosting.com, and there's only the default Apache-installation webpage there. That should already be more than enough of a sign that you should not open any files whatsoever from there.

For throttle mod _ looked for this file " com.android.providers.settings "
For entitlement_check look for this file " com.motorola.android.providers.settings "
Both file is in /data/data/

before you mod entitlement_check and throttle make sure you made a backup because for some reason after you change the value you can't revert it back i've set line 16 to 0 and line 18 to 99999999999999 and it slow down my dl speed while i was on 2233 havent do this yet on 229 not sure is the settings wrong but thats what i had on 905 and it works fine
download both aShell and aSQLiteManger from the play store by andsen, both app is free
use ashell
be sure to check root box
then tap on file explorer
go to /data/data
look for file name " com.android.providers.settings "
select databases
select settings.db
pop up select yes
another pop up open with aSQLiteManager
select secure
tap on Data
then you'll see lin 16 throttle_polling_sec 600 and line 18 throttle_value_kbitsps 300
tap edit so you can adjust the value on both lines
same steps if you want to do the entitlement_check mod only difference is you be looking for the file " com.Motorola.android.providers.settings "

Bionic SQLite Editor problem.
OK, I was rooted and then I got the official ICS update. Things were acting goofy, so I had to do a factory reset. Everything seems to be OK for now, but when I tried the SQLite Editor (Wi-Fi tethering) and try to find the databases (settings.db and what-not) in Settings Storage, it tells me no database is found. I did a full scan with nothing showing up and even if i click Browse, it shows nothing.
Are the files gone since I did a factory reset? If so, is there a way to get the files back and where do I put them? Thanks in advance guys.
Hey guys is there any way to connect my HTC one to my Mac and transfer files? I use webdroid sometimes but I am looking for a quicker solution. The HTC sync manager has the file option blanked out and Android file transfer does not register the phone is connected. Any help greatly appreciated.
I used android file transfer there is a trick to get it to work that has to do with uninstalling and re installing android file transfer. If you can't get that to work there's always airdroid although it's not as fast.

Android file transfer is broken with the 4.3 update. It worked fine until then. Any Solutions?
HTC Sync Manager works for me. You must wait for a few seconds after connecting the phone/launching the app and when you see phone's names and amount of storage in bottom right corner of the program Files tab should be clickable.
Check that you have latest 2.4.12 version.
