WHAT IS THE MIUI GLOBEROM ?

Both are two different custom roms bro
So this ROM has volte? If I flash this ROM the I'll get volte support right? And I'm on official KitKat ROM and have twrp installed in my device so can I flash this ROM?

It may work but I recommend upgrading to CMOS12 before proceeding.

I had installed this ROM yesterday and I had tried your other miui build as well.
Whenever I make a call with earphones on I can hear background noice of myside as if its coming through the mic I can everything with earphone n other side sound also.
I tried uninstalling viper4 android n tried with another earphones but its the same and this problem there in earlier build also
When there is no earphone connected it works fine
ring sound not hear in calling
while placing call through Volte ring sound not hear.
Volte sign is not shown continuously..

-Mic volume is low
- can not scroll forward in music app
- I have not tested volte so can not review for that

ROM and every feature works fine. But camera is not working. When I click camera icon it says can't connect to camera. I also try other camera apps but of no use. Please help.
Bro... i have installed the ROM & thanks for creating such a nice ROM but got to know some bug in VOLTE...
When i call from 4G VOLTE the call got successful for the first time after flashing but after the i was unable to make any call from VOLTE however i can receive the call on VOLTE no such problem. When i dial any number from VOLTE the dialer opens and after some time say 35-40 seconds it shows call failed.
Please solve the issue.

I also have this type of problems. But got an temporary solution just turned off volte from setting and when volte symbol disappear again enable volte from setting. This is the only way I make calls via volte. Hit thanks if I helped.
Hi,
I installed this rom last week and my observation are.
1. Rom is buttery smooth
2. Once it hanged for 30 mint atlast i had to remove my battery. After that its workimg well without losing Data
3. If I kept my device switched off remaining 100% battery charged then it get drained automatically in few hours (not a big issue you can kept ir in airplane mode.
4. Headphone and Media Players Volume is awsome, but mic and on call speaker and ear speaker volume is too low.
Request you to please let me know the procedure for increasing volume for calls.

Q: How to report bugs?
A: If you want to report a bug make sure you include:
-device variant / modem version / bootloader version
-detailed info about the encountered issue
-steps to reproduce the bug
-logs - about how to take logs
Q: What's the difference between these 2 Lite roms?
A: J5 2016 rom has themes support, J2 2018 rom has clipboard. Personally i use clipboard everyday, maybe some of you do same and i don't use themes at all.. For me J2 rom is better. But if someone would rather use themes and ditch clipboard, can use J5 rom. Therefore 2 roms.
Q: Sound quality is low, what to do?
A: Go into Settings>Sound>Sound quality and effects>Advanced, move all the equalizer dots on top to 10db and back to 0db. Equalizer will reset now. You need to do this only once for any playback output (headphones, speaker, bluetooth).
Q: Phone is asking to reboot because sim changed, what should i do?
A: Reboot once and see if it appears again. If yes reboot again.
Q: Phone asks to wipe data because operator changed, should i wipe?
A: Try to cancel and just reboot. If you can't do that or the popup still appear, reflash the rom and wipe from aroma installer.
Q: GPS not finding my location, what to do?
A: Install GPS Test, enable location services from settings, go outside and wait for 20 minutes.
Q: How can i disable/enable navigation bar?
A: Reflash rom without wiping anything.
Q: Where are navigation bar settings?
A: There aren`t any navigation bar settings because the rom is ported from a device without native navigation bar.
Q: Why camera can`t be fully fixed?
A: Unfortunately camera can't be bugless because old device - old camera drivers, so we need to live with a bug, choosable in aroma:
- Video recording bug - Video recording works only in Footej Camera (already included in the rom) but focus is fully working
- Focus bug - Video recording works in any camera app, but focus is half broken (works 1 of 2 times)
Q: Why volte/vowifi will never work?
A: Network is partially working now because we use marshmallow network libs. For fixing these 2 features we need nougat compatible network libs which we don`t have. Hence this, volte/vowifi can't be fixed and will never work.
Q: Why native blur will never work?
A: Native blur requires blur libs from another snapdragon phone with same android version 7.1.1, only two phones now matching these two conditions are C9 pro and Note 8, and the blur libs make the phone bootloop, so will never work.
Q: Why FM Radio will never work?
A: In order to fix sound on speaker i needed to find a device with same speaker amplifier and same android version (7.1.1). After months of research i found it, but it was a tablet without FM radio. Since Samsung uses different output paths for FM, no FM for us too.

Glad to hear! I made these 2 lite roms for the people that need basic functionality of nougat along with fast experience and better battery. Yes, i love features, but i also love when my phone doesn't hang or drain battery with useless services.
Someone asked me on private what's the difference between these 2 Lite roms.
J5 2016 rom has themes support, J2 2018 rom has clipboard. Personally i use clipboard everyday, maybe some of you do same and i don't use themes at all.. For me J2 rom is better. But if someone would rather use themes and ditch clipboard, can use J5 rom. Therefore 2 roms.
Will keep testing various roms, maybe i bring more to A5 community if i have time, it's still a powerfull phone and i won't let it die yet.

Installation Steps

ROM is working very smooth on my A500F, the only problem is 4G/LTE not working only 3G connecting.
any solution please.

My a5f its properly work...just problem on sim 2 maybe .but i face another big problem"my caller whan call me or i call him.he says he hearing Double sound in call time....in this problen any solution??

I think that is related to your network coverage, i have A500F too and 4g works flawless here.

Try to reflash, i tried to reproduce that issue, it was reported on A8 rom too, but still i don't have any issues. What region are you in? Maybe it's related to csc.

ok i ve seen around VoLTE doesnt work on lineage 15-16 etc but i dont know the reason why....?
im also wondering about VoWIFI, the equivalent of VoLTE but through wifi instead??? im currently on stock rom of android 7.0 on A320FL and theres an option on carrier's stock rom and its calling it wifi calling....its very very handy to be honest. Would that work on custom roms such as lineage 16 ?

Just had a crash while trying to change ringtones. When I want to, I can choose the "Sound" app or "Multimedia storage". First one crashes when I select a category, second one (classic UI) works perfectly.
After succesfully flashing the rom with gapps my phone would turn off after a couple of minutes in the setup and wont turn on
A new build is out with HWC enabled, thanks for all your support, batery and smooth are therefore a bit improved

Yes calls work well now, same for the proximity sensor. A lot of issues have been fixed in this time

VoLTE is not working on LineageOS for every Exynos devices as Samsung implemented it in a custom way on their framework and as it is on private sources, we can't know how they implemented it. Therefore until Google force OEM to implement volte in a common way it is nearly impossible to get it to work on any AOSP based rom. I won't work on it since my carrier doesn't support VoLTE for my phone and I don't need it. For voWIFI it's the same.
VoLTE is Often asked by Indians as many carriers such Jio only have LTE antenas so they can't make call throught 2G/3G network, so without voLTE they can't call, but as A3 is not sold in India I guess it's not your case . You will have to live without it if you flash my rom.

Something is wrong with the colors at LOS16.
Everything looks very bleak or yellowish, but if you switch to gray mode twice, the picture becomes brighter again.

i see, thanks for the info. well only vowifi is useful actually cause you get no issues with your calls, plus they sound great, when in areas with ****ty coverage which i happen to be in actually.
working at -1 floor with barely some signal or no signal at all then you really appreciate the help of vowifi not missing calls, sms, and generally not to worry.
ill have to think about it, other than that thank you very much.
Report Time
So i was using LOS 16 for first day and here are some results....
Installing method:
1.Fully reinstalled to latest stock from sammobile (all packages)
2.TWRP (official one)
3.Wipe system,data and install los- reboot!! - gapps(pico)
At first i want to say its absolutely amazing how it is stable ( i mean it more stable for me than los 15) , i had one freeze during whole day (i renamed my fingerprint , then go back click on trust and had like 30sec freeze of phone but it recovered) , but i was able to found some issues.
1. WiFi Hotspot is not working - i also tested disabled hardware acceleration for tether but it didn´t help , as for me this feature is extremely critical so please if you have time look into this , else i would be forced to downgrade
2. Camera app+results are super bad , app is very basic and result photo looks like from cheap camera from 2005 so much noise and undetailed.
3. I was to find that sometimes animations looks like they are stuttering in their mid-time , like it starts okay then in mid it stutter a noticeable way and then it plays out okay (im running first build so there is change that your newest build is solving that )
Besides this issues , as first build this is extremely good , thank you for the hard work and i will monitor where we can push our little device
PS: But please try to spare some time and look into that hotspot problem , its crucial for me ....
Also it is possible to just dirty install latest update without so much troubles ?
Edit: I forgot two issues
1.Network traffic thingy in status bar in not showing up at all ...
2.It seems that status bar icons are slighty misaligned , there is small gap from left (i wanted to add screenshot but right now i can´t transfer screenshot to PC)

Hey, your download links are wrong. On the Treble Experimentation's GitHub wiki it says that Samsung Galaxy A30 is A/B but the links you provided are A only. Your ROMs made my device bootloop, but when I flashed an A/B ROM and it worked perfectly. Please fix your download links.

wifi calling support
i not tested in my phone wifi calling
this rom is faster than samsung stock, the rom has several options that are not present in the official samsung, the rom is stable, we have at least one upgrade per month.

the biggest advantage of a lineage or havoc rom is the speed of the system, while samsung rom is very slow because of the heavy interface, the custom rom is very fast and has all the stock options

can pls someone help me with three things pls-
1. how to install twrp? (do u have any guide specifically)
2.detailed install steps as dont we have to clear data, cache etc in recovery?
3. a305f shows partition of treble as a-only ..what to do?
finally, how safe is it to install and how is the battery life and all.
ALL HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED AND THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.

Install ROM

How to fix Volte in PHH based GSI's
2 VOLTE FIX [only for Android R latest builds]
• Go to Settings > PHH Settings > IMS Features
• Now select both Request IMS Network and Force Presence of 4G Calling
• Now click Install IMS APK
• Let it complete download (check your notification panel). It will show IMS installed, you may now reboot
• Now click Create IMS APN (nothing happen)
• Now Make sure to enable VoLTE icon toggle in Customization > Status Bar > System icons (not in all ROMs)
• Now Reboot!
• After succesfull reboot, you will get VoLTE Toggle in Settings > Mobile Network
• Now try to re-enable VoLTE in Settings > Mobile Networks
