Hello, I have a question. I am trying to root my (ATT note 3 ANDROID 4.4.4 N900A) which is wiped and I am using this websites instructions >>>http://androidmtk.com/root-samsung-galaxy-note-3-sm-n900a . In step 10 , The oldin program keeps FAILING . How do I get the oldin program to pass so that I can root my device . I appreciate your help and thanks in advance.
Look up user Kevin quintana (kevinwithtecg) on youtube. He has a step-by-step process to revert the phone to 4.4.2, root it, then upgrade back to 4.4.4 while maintaining root. I used it and it works perfectly. It will however wipe your phone clean (contacts, apps, etc.), so save those and reup.
Hy every one im actually new to samsung and want to root my N920CD which is on android 6(marshamallow)
i found a CF-auto root file which is for n920C android 6 will it work for me without problem?
also if it works how can i make everything undo? in case i want to sell my device and ....

I knew that if I root my Note5 (N920C) I will lose Knox and Samsung pay.
I've a question, If I revert to the original firmware shall I get back Samsung pay and knox?
generally, If I installed back the original firmware, is everything will back to normal or some issues would happen??
if there are issues after unrooting and installing the stock firmware, please list them all.

Samsung pay is gone. Knox will always be 0x1.you will have no deepsleep.

in short , if you flash your latest official stock Rom
You obviously loose root .!
Secondly ,if Knox is tripped it stays like that ., permanently
It's what they called a "e fuse " that was tripped.
(Nothing you do ,can will fix knox ,Only Samsung can and the most probably won't )
Also if you unroot chances are that your phone won't "deep sleep" ?
Samsung Pay ,i don't know.

Yes, it possible to root the device and stay on the same andriod version. Matter of fact, once rooted you should disable OTA updates for thyat can break root and your device.
You could update the OS manually via TWRP.
But first and for most, you had better make a system backup before tinkering about.

Moreover, TWRP can give you temporary root access.

I am a complete noob when it comes to rooting and I am requesting assistance. I've searched the internet and looked through many posts/threads here on the xda forums.
I recently accidentally factory reset my phone (like a dummy) and lost all my photos/videos. I am trying to recover the files from my phones internal storage using a deep scan recovery but I cannot do so without rooting my phone. I've used KingRoot, KingoRoot, Magisk, TWRP, Odin, etc to try and root my phone.
My phone is a Samsung Note 8, Model SM-N950U, Android version 9, basebad version N90USQU8DUE1.
I would greatly appreciate any assistance/guidance!
