Does it support video call?
I am on darky's 10.1
Video calls via 3G network? Make sure you and the person at other end has 3G connectivity as well as 3G/Video calling plans active. Apart from that gtalk now supports video calls!
Thanks for your reply but yes both of my hand set and network are 3g but still not able to make calls from my sgs.
If all other sgs members able to do so then I will upgrade to latest darky's rom.
Please provide your feedback.
First check that the video calls on new gtalk/skype/tango app works or not. And also make sure from Darky rom users about video calling on 3G...
I'm not using 3G, so can't help more..
Hi does anyone else have disappearing calls when connected to LTE using a tmobile based s6?
This issue only occurs when LTE is active.
An incoming call will ring once or twice and go straight to voice-mail even though I have full bars

Go to your Phone App settings and turn off Wifi calling and VoLTE.
I'm sorry I have already disabled WiFi calling, and the problem persists but also - I don't have a separate 'VolTE' setting to toggle. Is it because it only appears if I have a T-mobile sim card inserted?
Thanks for your help!
EDIT for anyone who may run in to this issue: I fixed this by flashing Emporia Rom by iB4STiD, it seems to disable whatever t-mobile left over sorcery that was messing with AT&T calling because the rom is not based on t-mobile firmware
Now the calls come through 99% of the time but sometimes takes about 5 rings to connect to me. . arrr

happens to me on even international firmware too. only works well right when i reboot the phone.
I have this issue also with a tmobile s6 on att. What method did you use to unlock the phone? I used the metro pcs firmware to unlock the phone and when I updated to 5.1.1 is when all the issues started. On 5.0.2 I used the tmobile unlock app and everything worked perfect. I receive one in every 3 incoming calls, like you said it rings twice and mine doesn't even go my voicemail, it just says "the wireless number you are trying to contact is unavailable then hangs up", out going calls take 30 seconds to a minute to connect, very annoying. Talked with att on the phone for hours about this problem and they cant seem to get it fixed on their end.
Same...I disabled lte and just use 4g, seems to work fine.
OK, so I have an international N920C. Used to have AT&T and it worked fine, bluetooth and all.
Recently, I switched to T-Mobile, so flashed the phone to an N920T rom. Wifi calling and voLTE work fine, call audio works fine, and all calls placed from the phone work great.
When I use a bluetooth headset or handsfree, though, it gets weird. Bluetooth calls that go out over wifi calling work just fine- no problems at all. Same with voLTE- works great. However, when I'm not on wifi and place a bluetooth call over the standard cell network, the phone immediately reboots once it's dialed.
I'm using this ROM: N5 Express 4.0 and this kernel: Stock_Modified_Kernel_SM-N920TW8
I've also tried the latest arter97 n920t kernel and had the same problem.
When I flash arter97's n920c kernel, bluetooth works fine on cell network calls, but obviously I lose wifi calling.
I suspect it may have something to do with the TMO modem getting all jiggery-buggered with the international hardware, or alternatively some sort of kernel issue, but don't know enough to figure out where to look.
Any advice, thoughts, or ideas greatly appreciated!

Voice call on VoLTE on working - Vodafone
I am having this issue with Vodafone 4G SIM. Phone auto selects VoLTE network sometimes.
I make a voice call, I get a HD symbol but the quality of the call is pathetic.
There is a constant chopper sound in the background. I always have to disconnect the call and try after some time.
Vodafone says the issue is with the MI phone instrument / software.
Can anyone confirm whether this is a ROM issue or the hardware issue?
how does it get resolved? any idea?

Nope. That's Vodafone. They're liars. I switched to Jio and it's all good.
Hello,
I'm using LOS based ROMs on MI5 (32GB) model and found a bug in call logs for Jio VoLTE calls. All the incoming and outgoing calls made from Jio VoLTE to Jio VoLTE are shown as missed calls in logs.
I tried changing firmware and some ROMs such as ViperOS, CosmicOS, Offical LOS but all of them were showing the same problem on all dialer apps.
Is anyone facing the same issue? any solution for this?
