Hi Gents
Seems him and I have similar issue. Moto g xt1068 (dual SIM ofc) unlocked bootloader, after successful flash, cache wipe, partition wipe, factory reset etc still cannot get past the stuck Bootloader Unlocked message. No blinking or blackscreen for me though...
Hi,
I have absolutely no idea on android so need help. I have purchased a faulty Moto G (dual sim) 2nd gen and it just gets stuck on the blue moto logo screen (powered by android) for a few seconds then just switches off. I can get into the recovery screen but that's about it.
Any help would be hugely appreciated.

If you have not done anything to the phone, like trying to unlock the bootloader or things like that, then yes, just return the device, you got a bad apple.

So is it not repairable?

It is repairable but if you still haven't unlocked your bootloader then you can just get repaired free of cost from the service center but if you decide to do it on your own, you'll have to void your warranty in order to do that!

I think the previous owner tried to root the phone and something went wrong.
I got this message: Your device does not qualify for bootloader unlocking. after following a youtube video on unbricking moto g

If you bought the phone second hand and have no chance of getting your money back then you can follow these instructions.
https://motorola-global-portal.cust...il/a_id/99825/p/30,6720,9151/kw/factory reset
This will perform a factory reset on you phone and hopefully restore it to how it was.
Go to fastboot mode and tell me bootloader code?

Just beware that unlocking your boot loader voids your warranty.
I think you should seriously consider just doing a factory reset on your phone.

Follow the instructions for an external reset.

Moto g 2nd gen stuck in boot
Hi everyone,
Sorry for reviving thid thread. I have a moto g 2nd gen with unlocked bootloader status code: 3, it wont go past the boot animation with the globe and Motorola logo then shuts off, screen turns black with faint backlight and i have to press the power button to completely turns it off.
What i did so far.
I booted into recovery and made a cache and data wipe, didn't work.
I flashed a stock firmware. (5.02 btw) through fastboot with bootloader relock, all steps were successful but same result, wont go past animation boot.
I noticed when i issued bootloader lock command, log says successful but bootloader is still unlocked.
Also noticed phone is not detected by my pc except in fastboot mode.
Any help will be much appreciated.
Same Problem
Hi dichar,
I am having the same problem as you had. Did you ever get it resolved ??

Hello,
I've just owned a new Moto x but bad luck, it's a Verizon model... (Xt 1060)
I messed up because I've upgraded it BEFORE root it ... (I think it will be easier...)
Now, I'm totally STUCK, because I CANNOT unlock the f*** bootloader of Verizon, or apply any root method (And trust me, I've tried many...)
I don't wan a stupid locked phone, so I'm looking after a method to root this crappy verizon phone (I love Motorola, but not Verizon...)
Is anyone can help me here ?
A big big thanks,
Greetings from Belgium
Your only option is -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x/general/root-moto-x-att-xt1058-5-1-lpa23-12-21-1-t3164125
You are required to be on a particular firmware level, it does NOT disable write protection, it only roots. It is risky because it intentionally soft bricks the phone back to the Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader mode.
Hi, I'll check an eye !
A big thanks
YEP !
IT WORKED !!!
Thanks Thanks, THANKS my friend !
This website is definitively THE BEST !
A REALLY big big THANK YOU ALL !

Friends,
I tried to do root in Moto X4, I followed XDA's own tutorials and I could not. I searched several links, some asking to download the modified boot.img, among others.
I unlocked the phone and now you have an unlock message. Can you get this message out?
Someone got root because I can not do it at all. I can root on other Motorola models, but this Moto X4 does not. Thank you for your help.
The title is misleading but can you help us help you? What model of the moto x4 do you own and what firmware are you on?

Sorry for the title, I'm new to the forum.
Moto X4 1900-6, I'm using the factory rom stock. However, yesterday I traded for US firmware, Android One, and got root success. After researching a lot, I found an article saying that it was easier to do root using the US firmware.
ok, least you have it working.
If you want to get rid of the unlocked bootloader text that appears during booting, you can just flash another boot logo
