Connect to phone via LTE - LG Watch Sport

Is there a way to connect the watch and phone via LTE so that notifications from the phone show up on the watch when they are not together? I can get my text messages and phone calls using T-Mobile DIGITS, but I want to get my other app notifications if I chose to leave my phone behind (such as HipChat and Skype).

Notifications could be shared over cloud. Then, you will receive all notifications regardless on where you left your phone.

[Q] Notify when WIFI is connected

I use my phone to receive all my calls over SIP. Sometimes when I need to make a call I'm not around a (working) access point.
So let's say if I'm walking around is there an app that can notify me when I've connected to an access point? Especially when SIPdroid lights up green.
Thanks
There's an app call WeFi that find and automatically connect you to open network

Location of Saved Voicemails

Hey Everyone!
I have a Moto X (1st gen) that used to be active with Republic Wireless. There's currently no service on the phone. I have it in airplane mode. I am selling the phone and would like to save all of the stored / saved "Visual Voicemail" messages. Not sure if visual voicemail is the correct term... But the messages can be listened to on the phone itself...without calling a voicemail access number. Like I said, there's NO cell service or WiFi connection turned on and I'm able to review the voicemail messages. I've attempted to get support from Republic Wireless and Motorola and they keep telling me that the voicemail messages are stored on Republic Wireless's servers. That might be true...but I can still listen to them without any internet connect and with the phone in airplane mode. That tells me the voice mail messages are stored somewhere on the phone. Does anyone know what folder the messages would be stored in so that I can just copy and paste them onto my computer hard drive? Thanks for your time and help!

Help understanding Android Wear untethered access with Urbane LTE

Hello,
I recently picked up an Urbane LTE to simply play around with. But my driving reason to get LTE was to pop a sim in and be able to use the watch without being tethered to my phone. But it seems like you can't do squat with the watch without a phone nearby except make a phone call and maybe receive some texts. Ok Google ceases to work when you lose Bluetooth connectivity to the phone.
Is this the way it is or am I missing something? Seems like all the apps. are pretty dumb too in that they need Android Wear in order to work right. The apps don't standalone at all. Maybe I came in with the wrong assumptions.
Thanks in advance!

The Urbane 2 LTE isn't meant to be completely standalone on AW 1.5 (still waiting on 2.0), but you can pair to the phone through LTE data and do most of what you can through BT. When you leave the phone behind and turn on the SIM, are you paired to the phone (cloud icon with a line through it appears when not connected)? Which model of the watch are you using (W200A for AT&T, W200V for Verizon) and what service are you using on the watch's SIM?

I have a W200A. I am using a full service T-Mobile SIM. You think that is part or the problem?

Sometimes it can be because the SIM/model watch don't match network bands but a full service T-Mobile SIM should work with the W200A. As long as the phone is on and connected to a network the watch should be able to pair through LTE or 3G data.

That's what I thought too. I'm not too sure where to to from here any suggestions? If at least I could hit the cloud through LTE then I'd be a lot more content.

Do you see the cloud icon when bluetooth is off on the phone and cellular is turned on (and Wi-Fi off) in the watch?

Yes indeed. I get the very unfriendly middle finger stricken-through cloud icon as if it's completely disconnected.

Ah ok. That's the problem then. You aren't paired for some reason. When I leave my phone behind and turn off bluetooth on the phone, I get the cloud also. However when I activate cellular on the watch the connection is made and I'm paired through cell data allowing me to do most things as I would on BT. I receive notifications for gmail, facebook, texts to the phone's number through messenger (and I can reply by voice) etc. I also forward my calls to the watch's number so I don't miss calls. Just need to figure where the hiccup is regarding the connection. I assume it is, but is 'Cloud sync' set to 'on' in the Android Wear app settings on the phone (under privacy and personal data)? Does pairing through Wi-Fi work at home when BT is off on the phone?

Ok I will try to pair it once more with my new phone. I have a feeling that my LTE might not be working right. I wish there was an easy way to confirm or deny that! I'll report back at least I know it's supposed to work! Thanks again.
You know - I wonder if I'm just being a dum-dum (insert picture of Gazoo here!)
I bet cloud sync only works when the phone is able to communicate with the cloud right? So if you shutoff all data services on the phone, of course the watch isn't going to work anymore. It's essentially the gateway between messages and the cloud. But I should be able to leave my phone on, walk away as far as I want and it continues to work right? That's the idea. I'm sitting here thinking the watch just works standalone and that really isn't the model I guess.

Correct. The phone needs to be on and connected to a data source in order to pair through LTE/3G/Wi-Fi. Once paired through LTE, you can be miles away and still receive notifications etc.

How to enable incoming phone calls in Hangouts when connect to home WIFI?

I have use google voice number as my main number for years. I want to turn on receiving incoming phone calls in Hangouts when I'm connected to home WIFI. Ultimately, I want my phone to do below when I get back home:
1. set phone to airplane mode then connect to home WIFI
2. Enable receiving incoming phone calls in Hangouts
3. when disconnected from home wifi, turn airplane mode off and disable receiving income phone calls in Hangout
I've been doing this manually. It really saves lots battery when the phone is not connected to cell tower. I'm not sure if there's a way to do it with Tasker.
Below is instruction from Google how to turn on income phone calls.
-------------------------------------------------
Turn on ringing for incoming calls in Hangouts
If you have a Google Voice number, you can get calls on Hangouts. You can also learn how to make calls with Hangouts.
On your Android phone or tablet, open the Hangouts app .
At the top, tap Menu Menu and then Settings.
Tap the Google Account that you use with Google Voice.
Under the "Google Voice" section, check or uncheck "Incoming phone calls."
Change this setting on each device you have.
If you don’t want double notifications, turn off your device as a forwarding phone in Google Voice.

Does anyone else have issues with the pi update and Android Auto?

I am a Canadian user. I just got the Pie update over Christmas and have been struggling using Android Auto and other Google services. If I try to connect to my voice mail while in AA the phone connects the call, and then doesn't let me do anything. AA shows the dial out screen, but you cannot use any of the buttons. If you disconnect blue tooth and try to use the VM app (outside of AA) it will put the call through and still not register that it has an active call. When you finally lose the call, because you cannot hang up, you have to reset the phone to even make phone calls again.
Also, I will slowly lose signal strength to whatever tower I am connected to, to the point I get no service, reset the phone, back to 100% service.
I am pretty unhappy with this device now. It used to be just the bluetooth headphone issues now its that and this too.
