Hello all,
I wonder if anyone can help me restore the Audio Output selector option that appears in the notification bar when you connect a Bluetooth device? I don't remember disabling it and cannot find a way to restore it.
Is it Samsung connect and those settings

You're right. I had uninstalled the Samsung Connect app. Reinstalling it fixed the issue and the option is now back
Nice one

Hi. When I long press the Bluetooth headset button the Samsung voice talk is always activated instead of my desired voice dial application. Is there and way to disable Samsung voice talk permanently without rooting my phone?

If I rrmember correctly first time I docked my phone, it asked me what app do I want to run at dock. And default app was sense me library. Dunno why you did choose tunein in the first place. There should be dock setting which you could change it I guess

I find a solution to this problem
Just set the event in Sony Smart Connect as show in attach screenshot and it will stop Tune In Radio or any other apps from launching automatic when connected to the charging dock.
I have this same problem too. It launches 500PX. I have no Tunein radio installed in my phone.
Mine launches Tune In also. I never selected it in the dock menu but it starts up every time.
It seems to be a problem with the way Android handles the startup of dock apps according to TuneIn...see this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2208666
Had the same problem.
Emailed TuneIn and this is their reply.
Ended up just uninstalling the app.
Was giving me wake/sleep problems when I charged my phone...
Hello,
Thanks for contacting us. One of the features of the Android OS is that an application can be automatically started as soon as the device is plugged into a dock. If you have multiple applications that support this feature, you will be given an option to select which one you'd like to always start. If you only have one application (e.g. TuneIn) that supports this feature, it will automatically start when you connect to the dock.
We at TuneIn cannot allow control over this feature once we've enabled it's use. Other listeners have informed us that there are 3rd party applications available for Android devices that allow you to have finer control over this feature of the Android OS.
Sincerely,
Michelle

"Dock No Op" from Play Store works for me.
Also tried "Invisible Dock" but it gives me a splash screen which I don't like.
Sorry newbie, can't post links..
You can disable this by going to the smart connect menu and rechoosing what you want at startup when you dock your phone... Or simply have it do nothing. Good luck!

Turn off the charging dock from smart connect.

Guys,
Cant answer any incoming call, no screen to answer show up.
Anyway fix this bug?
Lollipop 5.01
Nexus 6. Stock, this phone is not rooted.
This phone came directly from Motorola and they were sent directly from China I believe.
So these ones are not from any T-Mobile, att or any other carrier local store. I believe that sprint have this issue.
Check video

Problem solved, as last resource I had to do a factory reset. It fixed the problem.

The heads up notification is in the SDK and has to be disabled/enabled by the developer (in this case Google for the Phone app). There is currently no option to turn the heads up notifications on/off anywhere in settings or the Phone settings. You could try a factory reset on the phone, and see if that fixes it.
If you are rooted, I would not factory reset. I would get the phone app from XDA, remove it from the phone, and install it as a system app and see if that fixes it.
Otherwise, the only possible way I know of is through a custom ROM (you would need to be rooted). I know for a fact that Pure ROM has a setting to turn heads up notifications on/off, don't know if any others have the option.
I'm on Sprint, so I had to do the "Settings - > More - > Cellular Networks - > Preferred Network Type " and switch to 3G. It's a pain, but this is the only fix that works for me / until Sprint fixes the network CFSB issue.

This issue of incoming call screen not opening just started a few days ago for me. I've tried every possible fix I can think of, even doing a factory reset as a last resort, but the problem persists. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, Im running a Malaysk ROM and I dont find a solution to lock the device on boot. For example requesting a PIN o similar way commonly used on the phones.
I booked a car park into airport for the next Saturday and they need to have car keys in order to could move the car. In that way, when they access the car, they also could access to the Radio so potentially they could read my email, calendar, chat and also using internet with my chrome saved password......
Any suggestion?
If you have your phone and are away from your car they have no access to its data. Maybe only your contacts if you uploaded them to the hu.

Yes but its not so hard to connect the radio to the park wifi or them phone tethering. Ty
Any answer on this?
Try Tasker with Secure Settings plugin. I've installed a switch in the ACC line and hidden it from view.

Has anyone tried tasker? It seems that you have to pay for this.

This shortcut in the dropdown is active but when I tap it it does not deactivate, why? any ideas? thanks
Not sure, mine seems to deactivate just fine. I have also gone thru the setup and have it paired to a laptop. Maybe you only partially completed the install/setup or maybe it's the default behavior when it has not been set up (to make set up easier if/when you do try it)
