Random vibrations with xposed v88.1 - Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Questions and Answers

As the title said, i experienced some random vibrations after I installed xposed v88.1. Both official version (zip) and the systemless version (Magisk) have the same thing. It usually vibrates when i press the power button or the volume button. This is very annoying. I disabled all modules and same thing happen. Only after I uninstall xposed then my phone goes back to normal? Any idea how to fix that? And also my phone is very laggy after installed xposed. Any solution to that as well??

I'm running RENOVATE ICE N950 2.1 with Magisk 14.3

[Solved] Black Scr & Download/Recovery unreachable Galaxy S7 / Xposed + Magisk

Hello everyone,
Here is the situation :
I just made a fresh install with full wipe of the latest SupermanRom without root in order to log in Snapchat, then I installed Magisk apk anf flashed Magisk V13.3. Until here, everythig was fine.
Then I wanted to try the unofficial Xposed framework : I installed the manager apk then downloaded the systemless Magisk compatible sdk 24 (SupermanRom 2.6 is Android 7.0) then reboot.
Here comes the problem : The phone (re)boots until the pin screen. This screen stays 2 or 3 seconds, then the screen goes of. I tried everything to type fast or anything, the phone doesn't react. When I press the power button to wake up the screen, nothing hapends.
So I thought, I just go back to full whipe and install the room again without Xposed, but I'm also unable to boot either in Recovery (Power + Home + Vol up) or Download (Power + Home + Vol down) mode !!!
The result without the SIM card is the same.
To sum up : Custom Rom + Magisk = OK phone working
But : Custom Rom + Magisk + Xposed = Unable to pin or boot in Recovery or Download mode.
During reboot, if i press the volume keys +/- the phone vibrates like in response... but nothing hapends. I never noticed it before...
Here I'm lost ! Does anyone have any idea of what I could do ? Is that a soft brick ? and how to get out of this situation ?
Please ask me for more information, and thank you in advance for those who will help me !
It's practically impossible that flashing magisk or any other thing brick your phone. Maybe the recovery it's gone for some strange reason but the download mode will be always here. Follow the steps here: http://www.android.gs/enter-samsung-galaxy-s7-download-mode/ (first result on Google...) to enter download mode and then use Odin to reflash it. If this doesn't work your phone is bricked but is very unlikely that it is caused by something you flashed.
EDIT: also because you say it power on until the PIN screen...

Not Xposed but Magisk v13.3
Hello everyone,
After a good night - "La nuit porte conseil" (Sleep on it like the expression says) - I finally could go in TWRP (Recovery) again. Perhaps like clau_la2 says I didn't wait enough time pressing the buttons to get it boo in Recovery.
But as I thought it was Xposed was in cause, I got the problem again without Xposed, and I found that it was the combinaison with Magisk v13.3 who was unstable. So I downgraded to Magisk v13.1 and everything works fine now. I didn't try to reinstall Xposed for the moment. I'll do it later, when I'll have time on Holidays.
Massi-X That's what I tought, and you just confirmed this. I'm not a newbie in IT but Android is not my main subject, (Je travaille principalement dans les Réseaux & Télécoms) and I just was in panic because I couldn't even reach the Download mode to flash stock things through Odin.
So evrything works fine for the moment. I'll come back to post a feedback with Xposed when it'll be done.
Thanks for all guys, and have a nice weekend !
@Raphaeldu68
Do you play xposed systemless for Magisk version? Try to upload xposed classic version, on stock Nougat 7.0 S7 edge works xposed.
Yep I flashed the systemless Magisk compatible version. I'll try the stock one next time [emoji6] thanks for the feedback!

Xposed doesn't work well with Magisk, even on MM. I guess the problem lies in the Magisk root. Change to system Xposed and SuperSU, everything is working fine again. The only reason I need Magisk is to hide the root from Galaxy Gift app.

@camapghe Thanks for your feedback, I guess so, but I'd like to keep Magisk to hide the root especially for banking apps and some others stuffs, so I'll try next week with the new Magisk beta 13.5 or 13.6 and come here to give a feedback.

I just tried the beta Magisk 13.6 few hours ago. Everything is fixed. There is also a modified version of Magisk Xposed that doesn't f*ck up the whole system.
In short, everything is 99% fixed.

Bootloop after installing Xposed Framework v88

TL,DR: My Sony Xperia E5803 Z5 Compact [MM 6.0.1] is stuck in a boot loop after I tried to downgrade/revert a “not active” Xposed Framework v89 [SDK23_v89.0_2017.12.17] to v88 [SDK23_v88.0_2017.10.08].
I tried getting into safemode as described here. I never got the phone to vibrate twice no matter how many times I pressed the Vol Up or Vol Down buttons.
Any help will be appreciated.
Status when everything was working fine:
Code:
Device: E5803 (Sony Xperia Z5 Compact)
Android version 6.0.1 (SDK 23)

Build fingerprint: Sony/E5803/E5803:6.0.1/32.2.A.5.11/3656371468
Platform: arm64-v8a, 64-bit binary
Xposed Installer: v 3.1.5 (was v3.0.1 by dvdandroid 26/11/16)
Xposed Framework: version 87 (SDK23_v87_2016.11.24, the modules were working fine)
TWRP: v3.0.2 (or maybe v3.1.0)

Detail:
I had a perfectly working Xposed Framework version 87
I tried to update to Xposed Framework v89 from the Xposed Installer interface (direct DL via WiFi)
I got “Parse error. There was a problem parsing the package.”
I booted into TWRP recovery mode (from menu) and flashed xposed-v89-sdk23-arm64.zip [SDK23_v89.0_2017.12.17], rebooted
I got “Xposed Framework version 89 is installed but not active. Please check the logs for details.”
I booted into TWRP recovery and flashed the uninstaller “xposed-uninstaller-20180117-arm64.zip”
I wiped the Dalvik cache and tapped Reboot, "Android is starting... Optimizing app 43 of 196." (This took about 15 minutes)
I installed Xposed Framework v89 from the Xposed Installer interface itself
Rebooted.
Same “Xposed Framework version 89 is installed but not active”.
I booted into recovery mode and flashed the uninstaller “xposed-uninstaller-20180117-arm64.zip”
Rebooted into normal mode.
I booted into recovery mode and flashed the “xposed-v88-sdk23-arm64.zip” SDK23_v88.0_2017.10.08
Rebooting, LED flashed red 4 times, LED Light green, Sony logo, “Powered by android”, Rebooting, LED flashed red 4 times, > boot loop
I hold Vol Up + Power to force shutdown, 3 vibrations, phone is off.
I hold Vol Down + Power to boot into recovery, but it doesn’t.
It just shows the Sony logo, screen goes black, Sony logo, screen goes black, Sony logo, LED flashed red 4 times, and repeat in a loop.
Thank you for your support

restart with magisk

I have a rooted n970f. Ig is rooted wtih magisk. But when i reboot phone i am loosing root.
I must use combo key while i reboot phone not to loose root acces. I must press both volume up and power key for a few second and then release the buttons. Then root is ok.
So anyone know to fix this problem? Maybe a profile can be used not to use the combo key while opening the phone?
A magisk boot image for your device is to be flashed to the boot partition.
In my case, I have Galaxy S10 G973F. A magisk boot image was provided by the Rom developer together with the Rom I'm currently using (lineageos 17.1).

Galaxy note 9 restarts randomly after magisk updation.

My Galaxy Note 9 running on Custom rom had no problems.. Just updated the magisk( module not magisk manager app) to latest version and direct installed (as recommended by magisk) after that my phone having following problems.
1.No action on pressing reboot on magisk after flashing. As reboot not working magisk is not getting updated also..
2.Power off and restart options stopped working.. Phone is not powering off or restarting by any means using physical buttons or software options.
3. Phone is restarting automatically in every 10 minutes.
4. Can't enter in to twrp recovery as phone is not powering off its gets restarted randomly very quickly..
Can someone help to get out of this.
