Yes, install a custom ROM like ARHD, gets rid of the logo, plus you get the latest base, 1.29.401.13 at the moment.
Can someone please link me to the dual boot, also do I need to wipe for it to work and what is the process on the dual boot?

What you are looking for is MultiROM.
You will not need to wipe anything.
Once installed whenever you reboot your tablet it will boot to a menu where you choose which of your installed ROMs it boots to.

Not dual boot, but multi ROM. I'm pretty sure the only restriction on the amount of ROMs is your storage size.
Yes, you can run Ubuntu Linux.

Ok so the link above is the best info for this correct ?

Yeah, MultiRom is your only choice for booting more than one OS on the nexus 7.
So, after reading the forums and internet. We can conclude that att can't flash custom roms/kernel/recovery due to having locked boot loader. Now how does the boot loader become unlocked ? Does someone have to code it ? Or do we have to wait for att to release it?
Sorry if this sounds dumb but just got bored and this subject was stuck on my head

As I recall, the AT&T Galaxy Note 3 was also bootloader locked, but geniuses of the internet created safestrap that ran similar to twrp for flashing/recoveries. I wish something like this would continue in the GS6.
Bootloader doesn't matter for us when it comes to flashing roms compatible with our stock kernels. Flashfire! I'm on my second ROM for test and review on the AT&T S6

Flashfire does wonders. It's like a recovery. But your phone is actually on. ?

I just unrooted my Note 7 to return it but the custom icon is still on the boot screen. How do I get rid of it?
It doesn't matter at this point: they have to be returned and accepted by the carrier/retailer if in US.
Odin the TMO firmware if you are really upright about it. But there shouldn't be an issue otherwise.

Nope ^^ This lol
It may not matter now but will in the future lol....aint no one wanna keep that custom icon after they unroot lol
unrooting is not the answer to this, you will have to odin the stock tmo firmware to get rid of the icon..... only way right now.
I agree with galaxyuser88. I was rooted and I just flashed back to stock and all evidence of root is gone including the custom icon on startup.

odin stock firmware (PGC) and then do a hard reset
As long aa you flash stock let it fully boot then set up then reboot should be gone

So I flash 7.0
Reboot
But I don't have the newest and bestest feature of Nougat...

Boot animation is the same as MM, only thing that changed was Google logo
And the animation displayed when the system is updating (now a multicolored ring).
I too was let down.

It's a super small detail, but I do agree. I was expecting to see something new on first boot. Not a big issue by any means, but I get ya.
