Hi guys I have a doubt that is killing me. I own 2 P9s with same android version. On one of them Google Assistant works in Italian and with full functions (play music and so on), on the other one it says it's not available in Italian so I set it in English and it was working properly. This morning I tried to install it again with Italian language set on the device. It's still not available in Italian and now that I set English it doesn't allow me to play music saying that is not yet supported. I checked and the app version is the same... I don't understand what could be the problem.

The latest Voice search support Chinese, Yue (cantonese). I updated the Voice Search and still could not find this language under the Google Voice Search 's Language Setting (while my friends could). My locale is Hong Kong.
Any idea?
Edit: i'm on xxjpy and I have mandarin and cantonese as well.
Edit2: go to settings>voice input and output settings>voice recognition settings (NOT Text to Speech settings).

yes, I am there. Just no Chinese,yue (Cantonese). I tried to uninstall the update and install again. No luck.

Did a quick search and found nothing similar in here....having an issue with my Navigation Speech
I already set speech to American English in the settings menu (under "voice input & output), and while this changed most speech over to USA, turn by turn still has a British Voice. Any ideas? Cannot find a way to switch it. Thanks
You should try set English (United States) via MoreLocale app.

Hi, this morning i found on the market two updates available.
One for Books, another for music.
I manually installed both.
Books works fine.
Music Beta only allow me to listen music.
The strange thing is that i'm running on the i9023 European version of Nexus S (2.3.4 stock) and them both are available only in the USA. In fact often when i try to view details of the both on the market, i receive an "article not found" message.
What do you think about?

Hi, i also received an update this morning.
Unfortunately i just could install the Musik Update (v3.0.1), Google Books "could not be found" on my device ?!
[Edit] I'm using Nexus S I9023 (Stock 2.3.4)
Same here in the UK, carrier is Vodafone, phone is the i9023.
I also could install Music 3.0.1, but now the widget is broken (it does not open when tapping on the widget, which just says "Selected playlist is empty.").
Now both apps are not available anymore in the market for me.

Same here now!
New Music Beta keeps always running a download service that drains 12 MB of RAM (unuseful since we can't download anything).
Have any one of you tried removing the update?

I had the google assistant the other day and now its gone again, anyone's else had this?
I'm in the UK if that makes any difference.
For now, google assistant is not avaible everywhere, because it was made especially for google pixel, so maybe there was an update for your phone, but you disabled Google Assistant, try checking your Google settings on phone, if everything is as it should be.
Try installing the latest beta version of Google play services.

I haven't changed any of my settings
Well for now it's not available yet, aldo I have it for some reason, you still have Google Allo on Google Play, it's Google Assistant, just packed into an app, so you can have fun with her there

I installed version 10.5.37 beta and Google assistant activated. I'm from the Philippines so I'm not supposed to receive it yet.

Change your phones language to English US. Then clear Play Services and Google app cache.
Assistant should appear after a restart and a few minutes.
It's re-appeared again now let's hope it stays

Is there anyone who had trouble using TTS? I'm currently using CN version and I uninstalled its default TTS engine and replaced it with Google TTS. At first it worked but after restarting the phone it's not working anymore. TTS option in settings is now also inaccessible. Keeps coming back in Accessibility menu. Please help.
