There is NO OFFICIAL Beta-update for the Note8, just a LEAKED one!
I wouldn't recommend it!

Just go to the thread for Note8 Oreo beta and follow the directions in the first post. Just trust it. The files you need are there. Any more questions ask in that thread.

why don't you just flash a international rom instead?
Why are you going full throttle with international firmware images?

Official Nougat update for US T713?

Has an official Nougat update for US T713 showed up at all yet? If not, is it likely to happen? I know some have had trouble with Nougat, so maybe I don't actually want it... but I do want it!

Unless like me you're rooted... No OTA then. Smart Switch is what I do partly because I end up with the stock tar file(s) and partly because it's a hell of a lot faster than downloading the file from sammobile.
Sure enough... a manual check and it is now downloading. I guess I should have tried that before asking!
Other than Nougat base and the change to the theming are there any other big changes? Does Samsung support theming on any of the tablets or is that reserved for the phones?
Is anyone else missing the built-in blue light filter? It's supposed to be in the quick tile icons but it's not there, and I don't mean reading mode.

Samsung left this out in the Nougat update for the S2. Don't ask why. Nobody besides Samsung knows probably.
hey guys any word on what would work to root the t713 on nougat? I'm trying to parse about 900 threads on the subject but it is hard to figure out. Seems like odin + twrp + supersu? thanks

How has the Nougat update been for you and your tablet?
My SM-T713 Nook version just received it this morning and I am holding off install, until I find out if there are any issue with it.

This little morsel of information should probably get added to the OP. I was in the same boat having flashed from 935A to 935U on Odin 3.12.7 (as was recommended for that process) and then tried to use the same version to go from 935U to 935A (Oreo). When that process failed, I went deeper into the thread and found this. Pulled a copy and it worked like a champ, but if we could add this info to the top post, it would be helpful.
