I have the motherboard from an E1 (D2005), no display, using it for various purposes.
I know there is an "pattern remover" ftf. Does someone have and ftf with usb debugging enabled? Or can an ftf be modified to do that?
When I had the E1 there was no way modifying the ftf with usb debugging enabled (or anything like that), and most likely it is still not possible.
If the board's bootloader is not unlocked then you can't remove the pattern, and If you attempt to unlock the bootloader it will automatically factory reset the phone leading the data on it to be erased.

Hi!
I have a C6603 JB 4.2.2 (10.3.1.A.0.244) which should meet all current requirement for DooMLoRDs latest how to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2386405.
After a failure I rebuild the phone using EMMA, so I'm using the phone freshly set-up, USB-debugging and apps from unknown sources is activated.
I flashed XperiaZ_C660X_KernelOnly_10.3.A.0.423_Generic_NL.f tf with flash tool 0.9.13.0 after restarting the phone is stuck in a bootloop.
Anything that might be wrong with the kernel file used or does this sound like a problem with the flash tool (which was downloaded, installed and running without antivirus software, ending the session without any error messages). When flashing in Flashmode no exclusions or misc. actions were marked.
Any suggestions? Thank you!
Best regards,
Maximilian
Just use this - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1886460
It can root 244 directly.

Thanx. I connected the phone which is correctly reported as Portable Device/Xperia Z and Sony sa0107 ADB Interface Driver but "stuff\adb devices" in command shows the device CB5A*****2C "offline"
What does it mean the phone is offline? USB debugging is on, screen is unlocked - sorry, I don't know how to proceed.
Not Found?
Device is reported correctly in the system:
Sony sa0 107 ADB Interface
But it's not recognized by the script.
Make sure anything else that uses ADB, like the Sony PC Companion or SUS is not running.
Try a different USB cable/port or PC.

Hello guys!
I've broken my Xperia's screen, now I want to send it to the service, but I don't wanna send them my phone with all the data. I have USB debuging enabled, but I can't find the auth button (when you connect via ADB, you get the popup). I also need screenshot when SuperSU/Superuser is asking for root privelages.
To sum up, I need 3 screenshots:
popup, when you connect via ADB
SuperSU popup asking for root
Superuser popup when asking for root
Can you help me guys?
Thanks in advance.

Oh, it does screenshot, thanks
Flash a stock FTF, choose to wipe everything.
You do not even need the phone turned on for that
EDIT
The first thing that happens at the service centre is they wipe data anyway. They do that to comply with legal data protection requirements

Is it possible to do it, when my bootloader is unlocked?
I am sending it to the place, where I bought the phone - they will probably fix them on their own. I don't trust these guys.
Yes, you can flash a FTF with an unlocked bootloader.

So I have to:
-install flashtool
-download ftf C6903 14.1.G.1.518 Central Europe 1276-4314_R2A
-copy it to the right folder
-adb reboot fastboot
-flash
Am I correct?
No
Install flashtool (And run the drivers from C:|flashtool\drivers and choose Z1, fastboot and flashmode)
Choose the latest version FTF and put it anywhere convenient on your machine
Turn off phone
Run flashtool, choose the flash icon, navigate to the place you have the FTF, click OK
Ensure you have all options to wipe ticked and nothing ticked to exclude (Default in most cases)
Attach phone in flashmode (Not fastboot) when prompted to by flashtool.
Done
Also, you do not need to do this blind
You can use the SDK (Or other apps like airdroid) to send a screencast to your PC.
You could even mirror your screen to a TV using a HDMI cable etc
Just because the screen is broke does not mean the signal is not being sent....
Hello friends,
I purchased few days ago Z3 compact, which is updated on 6.0.1 Marshmallow - but I cannot unlock bootloader with flashtool, because device turn of or on itself ( at least I think this is the main reason ) ...
Flashtool succesufully recognized my Z1Compact, and with BLU button, I can relock, or unlock my bootloader with my IMEI.
Unfortunatelly - this procedure wont work with Z3 compact. I'm not quite sure what is going on here, because I think I installed all drivers..etc
When I press BLU button in flashtool, and when I connect my Z3 into usb, with pressing downbuuton on device - it loads it, but then promptly after first load, I hear sound like the device again disconect and reconnect,
and screen with procedure images how to unlock, again pop up.
I notice only first time when I was trying to unlock it, appearing of device drop down menu - and after that like explained.
---
Z3 after that - TURN IT SELF ON . Every time, after couple of minutes, but not - after powered off and is just connect to usb of computer. It only powered on by itself when I try to unlock the bootloader with flashtool
I turned off all suspicious On/off system options, enable, and also disable USB debugging, enable and disable Mass media storage, but without any improvment in process. Everything is the same...
...
Is there any help here ?
When pressing volume up and plugging in the phone I get "26/025/2017 13:25:15 - INFO - Device connected in fastboot mode", but when doing volume down, all I get in the flashtool program is "26/011/2017 13:11:56 - INFO - Device connected with USB debugging off
26/011/2017 13:11:56 - INFO - For 2011 devices line, be sure you are not in MTP mode", so I can't install any of the ftf files downloaded using flashtool. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Try enabling USB debugging.
Settings > About phone > Tap multiple times on Build number until Developer options is enabled
Settings > Developer options > USB debugging > Toggle ON

1] Flashtool doesn't work with the XZ1c. So stop trying to use it.
- Use newflasher instead.
- Newflasher doesn't use FTF files. It uses the files directly as downloaded by XperiFirm
- READ the newflasher instructions.
2] To put the phone in bootloader mode, you have to:
- Turn it off.
- Hold Vol-
- Plug phone into computer.
- In that order.
3] All of this information is available by searching the XZ1c forums. So I suggest you do a lot more reading before trying to flash your phone, because otherwise you're guaranteed to break something.
Old thread is old but for everyone they have the same issues like me right now it is very important!
FLASHTOOL DOESN'T WORK AT ALL FOR XZ1 COMPACT!
Fun thing this post is the ONLY ONE they mention this AT ALL. To say "You have to do a lot more reading" is wrong because i never heard this before in this clear state. Mostly thje devs or vet are "recommend" one of both.
Like the also very important information that Device decryption IS ON BY DEFAULT NOW and it is written in the code by GOOGLE. So aside to compile your very own ROM there is no easy way to get around these pesky "No write permission for Apps" issues on the Phones SD Card.

What didn't work? According to the Flashtool change log support for the XZ1 compact was added in version 0.9.24.3.

My z1 c9603 stuck at sony logo after I flashed stock rom with flash tool
I plugged it again and flashed it still the same
In the end off flashing it says unplug usb and start your device and then debugging must be checked?
Idont remember but i may forgot to check usb debugging
How to fix it? ?
