Hello, just want to seek an advise. My phone got bootloop with no reason. I've tried flashing stockrom.zip in order for it to fix but I got an error in TWRP stating INVALID ARGUMENT. So, Ive decided to use SPFT to flash STOCK FIRMWARE. Everything works flawlessly. I dont have any errors encountered after installing stock firmware, but for no reason, my PHONE wont BOOT. TOTALLY no RESPONSE even if i hold power button. DEAD BOOT. My phone still detected by PC and SPFT and able to flash firmware but even if I always got SUCCESS, my sprout device still wont boot. Please advise me what to do. I know this phone is too old nowadays but I still like it. Thanks.

Seriously can someone please explain to me what the heck the above mean? I get the notion of a brick but what the heck is the difference between Super brick? Hard / Soft Brick? Finally, not really brick but what's Pixel Salad!?
Thanks!

Soft brick= a FAILURE of the device that can be reverted by the user
Hard brick= a FAILURE of the device that has to be reverted via external devices see jtag
Superbrick= a FAILURE of the device where the only solution the service center and a replacement of the component that malfunctions.
Pixel salad = a problem of the graphics unit or the screen to display correctly the image and put instead random colored pixels on some areas of the screen or the whole screen.
This is my interpretation of those issues everyone can correct it if he thinks that those expansions are incorrect.
Hope it helped you understanding few of those issues.

Hi, I flashed N7000ZSLPF ICS with bootloader and rooted afterwards. Everything was perfect until i decided to flash cm9 nigthly signed.zip and did a direct reboot. Now nothing happens when i try to turn the phone on
What kind of brick is this? Can somebody please tell me ?
Is there any possibilities to get the phone fixed?
Thank you all for your answers allready

I'm not 100% sure, but performing a flash under lpf isn't recommended. How did you root lpf after flashing? And when you say "did a direct reboot" what do you mean? Also when you say doesn't turn on at all, do you mean no display whatsoever or enters Samsung boot loop? Are you able to enter recovery or download mode?

You should have read the warning about LPx kernels (LP1, LP5, LP6, LPY, LPF)
Wiping or flashing in recovery will probably cause superbrick.

The way to go from ANY non-CM9-based ICS Rom to a CM9-based Rom is via Gingerbread.
You should've first used PC Odin to go back to GB, root your Rom, then flash CM9.
You have most probably superbricked your phone.

You are definitely bricked, I fear. Head to the nearest service centre.
I am from Kuwait ..
I purchased Samsung galaxy Note N7000 15 Days before
I have Installed King Droid ICS mania 2.1 later yesterday i updated to King droid ICS mania 3.0 and Samsung galaxy s3 Mod updated .. after that i restarted my NOTE but its not booting
i can go to Download mode and Recovery mode ..
even i can see the Install ZIP from SD card and all in CW ..when i Update it says
Can't Mount EMMC
I tried to Mount also But failure ..
I tried Stock rom of ICS official to Update Using ODIN 1.85 .. it stops at
<ID:0/008> factoryfs.img ..
I am worried I cant go for warranty Bcoz at Boot It says Binary count (5)
Please Help me Out
I went through all the posts on bricking, did what others tried but to no avail. I had CyanogenMod on it with TWRP and tried to do a restore (bad idea) that's when it bricked.
I got the stock tar file, used a USB jig to get me into download mode, used Odin 3.7 to flash it, all went smooth but she still hangs on the Samsung logo. I've tried it 3 times, same results.
Do I need a Pit file?
Am I missing anything really obvious and important?
Should I flash a rooted stock tar since it's was rooted before I bricked it?
All the links on the 'Goodies' page for the Note are all dead links now so please don't refer me there.
Thanks for any help.
Fixed the problem

Turns out the USB issue with Windows 7 Pro (64bit) was the problem. Got it all done on an XP computer I keep as a backup for this very reason.
Stock ICS is working great. No more B.S.O.D.'s Yay!

I'm having the same problem. Trying to put my note back to stock. Now it is also stuck at the samsung logo during bootup. I can't get into recovery mode, tried installing 2 different stock roms and nothing. I have twrp, so I installed cwm to see if I can use that recovery and nope. The only thing I can do is go to download mode. I also tried doing all of this on an XP as I also did this first on Windows 7, and didn't work for me. Someone help please.
Exactly same issue
Hey
I'm having exactly the same issue, only difference I first tried this on Windows 8.1 64bit and then Windows 7 32bit - Still just getting the samsung circled logo on boot.
Did you ever find a solution ?
Should I not use Odin to flash a new ROM?
Help me!!
I'm having the same problem, note t879 lock in logo samsumg, did step by step through odin 2 STOCK ROMS (T879UVLG3, T879UVMA1), the process ends successfully, but the phone restarts and crashes in logo samsumg. anyone have any solutions? help me please
I tried to go back to kit kat from lollipop and ended up bricking it. Does anyone have a solution to fix this that works? I have been through the forum and tried nearly everything I have seen and nothing has worked. Everything i try to flash on Odin fails(it isnt a connection issue because i am using the exact same connection that bricked it) and when i tried Kies 3 it says my device is not supported anymore even though it will pull up my information when i type in my model name and serial number. I can still get to the download screen but aside from that i just get stuck in a boot loop. Please help.
Can you get to download mode?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
Yes. I can still get into download mode.
Hey guys hopefully someone can help me out. I have a friend that has a note 4 that seems to have a mind of its own. It gets to the note 4 screen hangs and then reboots. Ive tried the following:
Kies upgrade and initialization
Odin stock lollipop
odin twrp 2.6.1 recovery
The note takes all of those with no errors. When the note reboots it hangs and then reboots over and over. I tried to get to recovery but hangs just like it does when its booting and restarts. Also unable to get to safe mode. But does get to download mode no problem. Any Ideas?
If you have twrp, have you wiped
System
Data
Dalvik
Cache
Internal?

Go into twrp recovery and do a factory reset then reboot the phone..
Thanks guys for the replies I've tried both and the phone still reboots. Any other ideas?
Which model was it? The newer T3 or the original T? If the newer T3, make sure you are flashing dog1 firmware.

Its the N910t t mobile variant not sure if its the new one or not. How do I find out?
What stock firmware did you flash?
Sent from my SM-N910T3 using Xparent Skyblue Tapatalk 2
stock lollipop 5.01 cod6
Were you upgrading from kit Kat? Where did you get the firmware from? I'm not sure why you are rebooting...trying to figure it out.
Maybe try upgrading TWRP to a more recent version.

Try odin flashing twrp and then booting into recovery and flashing a ROM

Edit still not fixed. I took it to a repair shot and they changed out the power button and that still didn't fix the problem.
I use to think it was a hardware issue but now I think its a software issue. When I got the phone it had knox 0x1(3) so I think someone messed up the software on the phone and its restarting because its unstable.
Here is what I tried to do so far and nothing has changed still reboots either half way during boot or once booted all the way just restarts by itself.
Odin stock cod6 firmware (fails)
Kies firmware recovery
Odin twrp 2.8.7 with root and pop rocks rom.
twrp recovery wipe and factory reset
Nothing works
Are you sure it isn't the t3 variant? Normal note 4 n910t roms will not work on it.
Try a different battery i had the same problem with and s3 couple years ago phone will power on and die during boot i though it was because it was rood and had a custom recovery I had a back up from TWRP I did a restor and didn't fix any so i flash the latest official firmware from samsung and still had the problem then I decided to switch the battery from an other s3 and the then it got fix and the other s3 star doing the shot off act is worth trying
Also if the phone was running fine before what was is on so you can tell what model you have and how long you friend had it the SM-N910T came with 4.4.4 and so far can only be update to 5.0.1 officially and a SM-N910T3 is a much more recent variant and it came out the box with 5.1.1 and the box should show SM-N910T3 so if he had it with 4.4.4 or 5.0.1 before any root or custom rom is a SM-N910T and if you didnt flash the bootloader for lollipop and still on 4.4.4 you may get problem like those too
ensure you are on Either T3 or T there are two models of this phone now. ...
Some things I noticed wasn't asked.
Have you tried a new sim card?
Is there a MicroSD Card in it? Take it out and see what happens?
Those may seem unrelated but I have had those symptoms with other devices because each of those.
Also when using ODIN, try different usb ports if a flash fails the first time. I've been in your position before and such a seemingly simple thing made all the difference.
Hi
I hard bricked the Lenovo K3 Note. Right now it does not react at all. It just has a black screen. It does not seem to load and the pc is not reconicing it. Any help?
What i did is install TWRP
After that i installed the custom ROM K3_NOTE_MM_6.0_1613_v18_ROW_GOOGLE_CUOCO92.zip via TWRP (i am a new user so i cant provide links :crying: )
That did work out fine. But then my brother decided he didnt like the version so i said lets install K3_NOTE_5.1_1604_STABLE_ROW_004_CUOCO92
After downloading the zip file I started the flash in TWRP and i think he finished the flash and asked me to boot the system what i did. But after that the phone was just dead. The battery was low below 15% that might have been the problem.
Is there anything i can do?
So far i have tried flashing via fastboot but the pc doesnt seem to find the device and tried to get a new row running via SP_flash_tool but i cant figure it out and its basically the same problem i think
please send help
