Yeah it does, as long as you install the right way. No bubbles. This video I am going to link you is for impact shield s8 install. Same concept so no biggie. Watch that video a few times so you get it right. Also order it off ebay it's cheaper. Got 1 new $20, I've seen them even lower. They normally go for $40-50 new elsewhere.
I will advise against it just due to how horrible customer service is. If you need to ever have it replaced good luck.

Removing the film number 3 looks dangerous as it looks like this is the period dust can also get in.

Use dust stickers and you won't have any issues with dust. You could also use some tape. Also you will notice there's still bubbles after installation. That's normal after 24-48 hours they disappear.

With customer service? I mean I've heard bad and good with the customer service from others in regards to tech21. Not going to lie it's been about 50/50 Good and bad from various sites user feedback.
I am mostly putting my kneck out for there protection. It seem like people where putting on screen protector incorrectly. I followed that girl in youtube video and have no issues. I will say that the screen protector installation has to many unnecessary steps.
I totally believe you. Was just curious how'd they gave you a bad experience?

The first EVO wallet came over here with three scratches on the top. Chatted with Tech21, submitted a picture during chat and got a replacement in perfect condition within a few days. They don't wanted me to return the scratched case. Using the scratched one now and have another one as replacement. Perfect service. Don't they submitted a tracking nr. to you?

I find tape leaves marks to be honest. I also find not many people supply the dust removers in their packaging these days.
During the application process in the video, it shows removing film number 3. Whilst removing film number three the other hand is applying the film thus if dust lands during the number 3 process one is screwed?
I'd like to try this film as I think the material used is similar to the ONN Walmart Note 8 and s8plus screen protectors. Almost like glass but not quite. The latter would have been perfect non glass screen protectors if only they worked. Edges lifted.
I'm currently back to the same sort of screen protector that I had when I first bought my N8. The wet applied clear film that has a 2.5mm gap all the way around the edges. Seems to be the only solid ones out there. Made by Skinomi, Illumishield, Armousuit etc , $60 or so dollars later LOL
The Spigen wet applied film was nice with smaller gaps, but the peel on the film was a joke.

Masking tape is the best for this if you're going to use tape. Yeah I don't like how they don't include dust stickers with it. Also you can go to dollar store and use kids stickers. They also work for the cheap alternative. I'd go with that option.
I followed video to the T and bubbles from air pockets 24 hours later where gone. Make sure your hands clean and not in a dusty room. Bright light will help too. Because you will see dust beforehand. One more thing do it on a table.

You have to wait with all screen protectors that are applied with application fluid....

I don't have a single problem with my invisibleshield on my Nexus 7, including the one you mentioned above.
So one of the following must be true:
You have a defective Nexus 7 with under-sensitive touchscreen.
Your InvisibleShield is defective (somehow)
Your installed your InvisibleShield wrong.
I received a Nexus 7 with "extra-sensitive" touchscreen (if something like this exists!)
Does anyone's protector seem a hair too big? A bit of it is going over the bezel. Will this thing shrink?

youre meant to let it dry...
capacitive screens work by reading the changes in the electrostatic field directly above the screen as you slide your fingers across it. using applicator fluid and the screen protector will restrict the range of the electrostatic field to underneath the screen protector until the screen protector dries. plus, you're putting water on an electronic device... generally not recommended to turn it on until the water's completely gone. it shouldve mentioned this in the installation instructions...
Anyone ever notice the glass looks like it's permeable on these touch devices? Lots of little holes.
But yes, water cuts the conductivity and will do so until completely dry, at least that is the result on this device.
Same results with most wet install screen protectors, it's not any particular brand being the problem... If you read the xoskins, skinomi and xtremeguard threads, people have the same exact "complaint"..
Let it dry man!
YMMV

Risk over heating an LCD, I wouldn't.
Besides trying to expedite drying time may cause trapped air bubbles that will take twice as long if ever to stick and will leave a ripple on the protector. YMMV

Any update on reviews? curious on this product as well.
I bought products from Clarivue for years but this last time I bought screens for the HTC DNA. I ended up selling the DNA while the screens were shipping and instead wanted to get Note 2 screens and was even willing to pay all the shipping etc.., but they also wanted me to pay a restocking fee on the DNA screens....even though they had never even been opened!!! The stupid fee along with all the shipping made it easier/cheaper to just order the Note 2 screens and throw the DNA ones away. Needless to say I will never do business with them again and I'd been loyal since my Nexus One days.
It was like 3 or 5 bucks and for a loyal customer of years they wouldn't waive it for me. I would have bought these glass protectors in a heartbeat if not for this...I almost bought them anyway... but stayed strong in the end.
Anyway I hope you guys enjoy them I'm sure they are nice screens. They make nice products but when I needed good customer service it wasn't there.
Any updates/reviews on this. Post seemed to have just stopped. Interested in getting an idea on how the Clarivue HD is working on for whoever has it. Bought the MIME, but I feel like sensitivity was affected when typing. It didn't register the keys all the time. Contacted MIME and they send to send it back for an exchange or refund. Put one of my extra iSmooth sp's back on and I'm happy for now. Just curious about the Clarivue.

I'm pretty pleased with mine - I didn't realize they included a sealed wet-wipe (supposedly anti-static and anti-dust formulated), so I ended up with dust particles after I wiped the bare surface down with a Microfiber cloth and rubbing alcohol. Since I figured I had nothing to lose - as I had an obscene number of dust particles under the glass, I decided to pry it out again and wash it using liquid hand soap and water.
Basically I ended up applying it like a Zagg protector using 99% Alcohol in a spray bottle as a liquid base to a) reduce dust particles and prevent water spots, b) shift the Clairvue into position. I ended up with a pretty decent job - there is only one tiny dust particle - small enough that it isn't visible unless you pull up a white background. There is no air bubble surrounding it and it only showed up a week after the initial application.
My friends who also purchased the same protector applied it successfully without the issues - as they were forewarned by me about the wipe, so I guess the wipe really does help in the installation.
They also included 4 plastic buttons for the home button - to make it easier to press the button down - it came in White, Black, Blue and Grey. The issue with these buttons is that they seem like they're for the S3 and not the Note. It still works but its definitely not the proper shape of the Note II button.
There may be a small loss of sensitivity (maybe 1%?) - but I'm not 100% certain as really hard to tell if its the app or the phone. S-Pen functions fine. The glass is really, really smooth compared to plastic ones - well worth the extra cost. Also resists oils very well - requires fewer wipe downs compared to the plastic ones.
I would definitely buy again - and I'm only including what I went through to apply it since I failed to install it correctly - yet it is recoverable and not all is lost. The adhesive layer is strong enough for some washing. I probably wouldn't pry it out now though as the adhesive has probably cured a little bit. I don't believe it's supposed to be reusable.

I used to have problem applying dry protectors as you mentioned until I found some excellant advise which made all the difference:
1) Apply the protector in the bathroom after streaming up the room. This removes floating lint from the air.
2) Suggestions for flawless protector application:
a) "the best way to apply without anything left under is to align the screen protector secure it with painters tape over the outside , clean the screen really good, fold the protector back, and before removing the backside film, put painters tape all across covering the screen, and then pull the edges of tape and the back film while pressing the screen protector and sliding down as you pull the tape/back film together towards you until you apply the protector fully and squeegee the bubbles out, you will end up with a flawless screen, because the tape will pull all particles from screen."
b) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=36632751&postcount=41
c) "I like the masking tape idea for perfect positioning the protector BEFORE even starting to remove the sticky backing. Not so sure about the additional use of tape "put painters tape all across covering" as I think the bathroom stream idea is better."
d) How to apply any screen protector on a iPad 3 like a boss - Very good, watch before applying!!!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zULF22JfjME
I hope these suggestions help.

Bought and installed one on my son's Nexus 7 and my GF's ipad2. They're fine, use lots of spray/soap/water and take your time.
I think the only reason you can get it on normal shipping is because they get very low business rates, even though i still don't think they do it at a very good win for them! It does bring in a lot of business though but doing it internationally would just not be worth the money for them! :highfive:
Hi all,
Fitted my Flex HD protector (front and rear, pics below)... Rear fits great height-wise, but a bit short width-wise, not bad in general though... Quite good at applying these protectors and I got it without a single bubble
Front one though was a different story... It was my first ever wet-protector install and I'm not entirely sure about it. The fit is GREAT! Just not sure how well my actual application has gone...
Anyone installed this specific protector on this phone and able to offer any advice on whether the bubbles shown will work themselves out over a few days as it says they should? Doesn't seem to be any dust below, just bubbles
Thanks!
They'll go away. It took mine two days to disappear. the first day I saw a few and tried to move them out and by the second night I couldn't see any bubbles.
you can always take it off and re-install. The pray that comes with it does not work as well as a small bowl of water with a drop of dischwashing soap. Make sure your fingers are good and wet and they with some practice you should be able to get much less bubbles right away. I am a perfectionist and it took me 4 applications to get it perfect. I had zero bubbles as soon as I was done and it took about 1 day for the excess moisture to dry for a perfect application. No hair, dust or bubbles. Surpirsingingly, I really like how this SP feels on the phone, and I always have used tempered glass.
The good thing about a wet application is that you get second chances, unlike glass (at least i my experience)
good luck
Mine looked the same as your's OP, by the end of the night most of the small bubbles were gone. Really hoping the rest of them work themselves out over the next few days. Most comments I've read say they do, so I'm optimistic as I am a perfectionist as well. Can't stand the sight of bubbles or blemishes in my screen protector.

I see the orange peel effect and i have ordered this screen protector does the effect go away over time? is it a matter of stretching as much as possible during application with the card?
Thanks all
It seems that after about 12 hours it is looking a lot better, not quite perfect yet though
I also see now there are a couple of bits of dust (I made the mistake of putting it back down on the sheet after taking it off initially to clean the screen again)... Surprisingly though the bits with the dust aren't the worst bubbles, in fact they're not very visible at all
Will give it a few more days then maybe post some more pics for people to see what it is like
It took mine about a week for all the bubbles to work themselves out, but now that the did I can't even tell I have a screen protector on my phone. Really happy with the front protector!
I'm gonna have to redo it as it has dust from when I put it down
But yes the bubbles in general surprisingly are sorting themselves out
Anyone think their screen looks slightly yellowish hue after installing this? I don't recall how mine looked before so I'm really hoping this is so and it's not my actual screen. If it's my screen then I will be exchanging if because it's quite irritating. And it's perfectly white when I hold the screen at an angle instead of dead on.

So anyone notice the screen looking yellow after installing this?
I would simply take mine off and determine that way but then I would have no protection afterwords. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

After 2 days, all blemishes and bubbles are gone. I've had several people say they had no idea there was even a screen protector on until I told them. It feels like glass and doesn't have that rubbery feel to it like how some other "wet" application screen protectors feel. I also don't have any discoloration due to the screen protector either. I can honestly say I love how it looks.
I was very skeptical at first since this was my first "wet" application screen protector. I've always used the one and done "dry" application ones. The application process was very nerve racking with all that "solution" on my phone, and trust me I was with everyone else with how my phone looked initially. But after letting it settle for a few days, I can say I'm glad I went with this screen protector that wraps from edge to edge versus going with one that only covered the top of the screen. I highly recommend it to anyone on the fence :good:

YMMV, some people here claim it goes away but I frankly don't believe them. The orange peel effect is there and in full force even after a week. There's even a bubble that will not go away even though there is no dust underneath. I'm returning this one ASAP and I recommend against anyone buying it.

yeah.. I like the bubbles happen when lack of liquid and the card isnt used properly and will not come out.
where did you purchase? thoughts on skinomi full protection incl sides?

Hi all,
Fitted my Flex HD protector (front and rear, pics below)...
Thanks!

I don't think this is brilliant. Those "bubbles" don't look like they'll disappear. Looks like a defective screen protector. Did these ever go away? Wonder if others had the same problem and it is a result of a faulty batch

Here's my phone with the FlexHD on after 3 days
And I thought I did a good job. You sir are a master at installing liquid install protectors. If I were to place my phone next to yours it would look like ****, although I did install mine in the car, outside of best buy, on my lap, on a rainy day with no light, because I didn't dare put the phone in my phone or any where else for the drive home.
Oh well, good thing it came with 2 protectors. Can always try again.
Just a PSA for first time Skinomi users. When I put mine on two days ago, it looked like absolute trash and I almost ripped it off immediately. But I didn't.
Two days later and it looks great. Like magic fairies put a new one on while I was sleeping or something.
So, if you try this product, give it at least 2 days before you pass final judgement. Also, put it on at night, let it sit overnight without a case on. When you put it on, after aligning it well and squee-geeing the excess fluid off, take extra time to rub your finger along the curved edges. This will make them tack down very nicely (even though the rest will look like trash, just give it time).
Premature use of a case will most likely cause the edges to pop up. Waiting until the next morning to slap on your case is a good idea.
To clarify, this is regarding the Skinomi Tech Skin Premium HD Clear.

Mind taking some pics of it? I already have mine but don't have the phone yet

I tried that but mine was cut too long. It wouldn't line up with my camera/home button no matter how I positioned it. I'm not new to installing the or any screen protector so if wasn't too long I would've kept ir on.

What's the best available non glass screen protector that fits the full screen and can be used with case, and does not have the rubber friction or orange peel effect, but can be delivered quick to the UK?

I've always liked Spigens plastic screen protectors. I had to use them on my Nexus 6 since no TGSP would work with its 2.5D edges. I have one of the Spigen's enroute with a ETA of tomorrow, so I'll let you know how it is.
Edit: It's actually arriving today! I just checked the tracking. I've been reluctant to use my S7E all week because I don't have a screen protector and already managed to get a tiny scratch despite 'babying' my phone.
how did you get early? says in stock March 11, 2016...
Some pics would be nice, wanting to get this too and put glass on top lol
so 1 question once I install skinomi skin what happens when I dip my phone in water or like splash water over it since the phone is water resistant. Does the skin come off ?
i ordered that protector and received it already but i dont have the phone yet...but did you get an email from skinomi saying they werent satisfied with the fit on the phone and changed the design up on the protector and is sending out a replacement protector for free...so i guess im gunna be getting a better fitting replacement from them...

Looks like Skinomi botched the first batch with incorrect sizes and are fixing the issue. They commented on Amazon re the issue to a customer complaining that it didn't fit properly so they probably pulled the stock until its fixed.

I can attest to how botched it was. The cut was for a S6E+ sized device and horrible IMO. They aren't the only company that did this, but at least theyre fixing it.

Splashing water seems fine, I haven't fully submerged it though.

They are also offering free replacements to those who purchased the first version so hit them up!

I already returned it to Amazon, but a replacement just arrived in the mail. I'll probably send it back because they refunded me earlier

I bought a supershieldz before I got the phone just to have something and could get something better. Turns out, I need nothing else. I don't even know I have a protector on it. Love that cheap old thing.

I have the same one and its great! I tried the Spigen (which was okay, but then started to peel) and two wet install ones that were cut oo big. The SuperShieldz is the best one so far!
