[Q] My Note N7000 does not recognize sim.

Hi,
Recently I have bought a used N7000.
While selling the phone, the guy said its locked and unfortunately I did not have a sim card to verify whether it was locked or messed up.
Now after some days when I tried putting a simcard then I realized that It did not recognize the sim card nor asked for the unlock code.
So I guess it is messed up and not locked.
So below it the problem stated:
When I insert a sim card into it, it does not recognize and I see a circle slashed through it.
In details(about phone) I see Network as Unknown.
then I wanted to know if the phone was rooted so checked with root checker. The phone is not rooted.
It running on 4.0.4.
I have done some research on it, but could not find a satisfying solution for it.
I am not very familier with technical knowledge in terms of android.
Prior to it I have just rooted a HTC explorer and installed cw10 into it.
Seeking a help from any of you. I dont want to brick this phone.
Thanks in advance
Please check your IMEI in the Settings-About Device-Status.
Does it start with 004999.... or 00000...?
(Please do not post your IMEI here if it is a correct one)

Just searched about imei's starting wit 0049.
Guess I gotta fix generic imei first.
No, install my Rom and you get the workaround I use. No problem with the developer iMEI.

[Q] SIM card not found after unrooting - what to do?

My friend has Samsung S3 Galaxy (i9305). He tried to root (don't know which ROM he chose or which guide he used to perform the task). Something went wrong and he unrooted. But now the SIM is not found anymore. The phone boots anyway. Network is also not found and no emergency calls can be made. The phone also locks up every now and then.
What should he do to restore the phone to it's original state? Which guide should he follow?
I can provide more info if needed.
He has flash the phone with the original Samsung firmware for his one's model. Simple factory reset won't work. He has bricked the phone.
Check Sam's mobile for the firmware and simple Google will explain the steps. It's basically same has flashing any custom rom after rooting a phone
Cheers

How to root le2 x526 and install twrp , custom rom without pc?
Not possible without pc
Not possible
How with pc can share wih me a link from very initial to end
Dude, a guide was already given to you in your other thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-2/help/guide-please-t3631085
You may want to read forum rules, you are spamming the forum.
As you mentioned, you are new to rooting, customizing, etc. The best thing you can do is to read, read and read again until you get familiar with the whole rooting process. Otherwise, if something goes bad, you won't know how to fix things.
Good luck with your device.

Samsung Galaxy S6 (SM-G920T) DRK Issues

Hi, I have a Galaxy S6 unlocked, before was with T-Mobile. It was rooted and has a problem with service. Always that I was trying to connect with a network says "No Registered". I heard that updating my S6 will help, so I used Smart Switch to do it, I did a backup of everything before starting, but when the installation finished, a litlle message appears saying that I have to install DRK first.
I don't know anything about it and I got scared because I dont know what to do, I hope someone can help me, and if it was a post of this before, please forgive, but I gave up searching for solutions.

I don't have this device but, your best bet is to post this question within the following Q&A thread that's specific to your device.

DRK Issues tend to be fixed by using combination firmware. It tends to live in either The Modem Firmware, or in the recovery image. Flashing the Combination Firmware for the bootloader revision tends to fix this problem. I've only seen it not fix the issue like one time because it was a modified combination firmware to begin with.

Did you format your device?
Do you have baseband?
If you lost your imei, you can't recover it forever.
Only Xiaomi Centre can recover it.
I'm sorry.
For rooting, you need to unlock bootloader.
Try using a SIM from an operator that does not requires imei.
That's your only chance.

Look. If you don't have any backup of IMEI, Only Xiaomi can fix it by replacing the whole motherboard, take the phone to them with bootloader locked and don't tell them you rooted or flashed anything ( if you did), they will cover the device in warranty.
If you don't care about IMEI and Sim detection, You can flash engineering rom, Unlock bootloader on it as it does not need sim card and flash roms.
I'd recommend the first option, take your phone to service centre if possible.
This device belongs to a client, he wasn't sure what happened to lose imei
but I think it was lost after update.

Yeah, after flashing engineering rom you can flash miui 12.0.4, but that won't recover IMEI either.
My friend is working on an IMEI modify tool, he will by trying it out on his Merlin today.
I'll let you know if it works, so you can recover the device's IMEI.

Going to wait for that.
Global or Any variant?
And to be honest, I tried repairing it to a technician but at this point, NOWHERE and NO ONE could repair this phone properly. They all offered similar treats such as:
-REBUILDING
-REFORMATTING
AND NAHH.. CANT FIX THIS
It's hard to find a committed technician to handle this sort of things like they make it so complicated.

Neither Xiaomi Centre can recover it.
They just change the motherboard and then send the older to the factory.
