In my phone, system update section of setting, it shows new update namely EVA-L19C636B396. Current version is EVA-L19C636B394. Therefore I download the update, it is ok. When it becomes 100% download, the phone asked me to restart. Then I restart it. But after restarting it show error. It asked me to download the package, again.
I don't know why.
I see the update, and I can download it.
However, I cannot install it.

Thanks for your suggestion.
I have done it, however the problem used to show up. When I connect huawei hiSuite and check the update through computer, it shows "you have installed latest official version". But in my phone setting, it shows there is update!
I don't know why.

Since firmware finder app uses a proxy to bring in that update to the system update app that is why you only get the update in the system app. The HiSuite program on your computer doesn't have that proxy so that's why it doesn't show the latest update.
If you want to install C636B396. First make sure, you have the exact same firmware as your model (EVA-L19/09/29). and check with IMEI number if it's approved. If it is try to use the FULL-OTA file. And once your download starts, stop using the proxy (revert the wifi settings to default)

Hello
Been fighting this problem for days now. Tried uninstalling, reinstalling no change.
PC runs 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium SP1
Current HiSuite version installed is 1.8.10.2706
It keeps telling there is a newer version of HiSuite - 1.8.10.2806
When i agree to download it, it downloads it, runs and when installation is complete version stays the same - 1.8.10.2706
Judging by the file name it downloads, it should be right version but ... i am at loss what to do.
On HuaWei site latest version download is 1.8.10.26.06
Of course i downloaded it as well - it also wants to upgrade to 28.06, with the same results.
Anyone of you have ran into this issue?

Try to uninstall Hisuite and after remove (if present) the folder where the program was installed; then connect the phone with usb in Hisuite mode and start the installer that appears when you connect the phone.. now it should start download the latest version... my hisuite version is 1.8.10.2806

Exactly this I wanted to say
Thanks!
I uninstalled HiSuite, then removed all folders. Found out that there is one folder with Huawei service still running even after removal of HiSuite!
I suspected this was the culprit.
Killed this service and removed the folder.
After that i downloaded 1.8.10.2606 from the web and installed. On first run it downloaded 1.8.10.2806 itself (it showed download progress indicator) and installed it successfully.
Thank you all!
Hi good day...
I've been reading posts from people who have the same problem trying to get back to Marshmallow from the Nougat beta, but I have not found a concrete, working solution.
I have tried in 3 ways:
1.- By the method of the three buttons: I have tried to reinstall the software by this method and it did not work. It stayed at 51% and marked error. I already try to put it in the internal memory and the SD memory but in neither it works. I also try with the dialer method and it does not work either.
2.- Try to do it with the method "this link" which consists of sending the update via OTA configuring proxies and such things. I get the OTA update of the firmware that I select, but it marks the same installation error.
3.- Try to do it by HiSuite in "recovery system" but apparently the PC does not recognize the device, only in "recovey" mode and when trying to start the recovered process tells me that my device is not supported.
Please if anyone has any solutions let me know, I'll be waiting for your answers folks, I do not want to use this beta forever
My P9 "was" an EVA-L09

Long story short, yesterday (15/12/17) i updated the "Huawei Mobile Services" app then lost access to my account. Kept receiving error "Incorrect account or password" etc. Tried resetting, clearing cache etc nothing worked.
Stumbled across the following post while searching for P10/Mate 9 Oreo news/info:

So it looks like I have found a solution on an other forum:
You need to go to Settings - Apps - Huawei Mobile Services and on top right tap on the three dots and go for the "uninstall updates". Worked for me after that, let's hope it will work for you too!

Edit: update 19/12/17 - after rolling back to factory version there is a HMS version 2.5.3.301 update offered in Google play store which, works fine.
I lose access to my ID when I update HMS internally to version 2.5.3.302. This particular version isn't offered on play store.
same by me..i am waiting for bug fix from huawei...

Hi mate, I encountered the same issue after HMS upgrade. Thank you for your temporary solution to make Huawei ID credentials work again.
Now I only wonder when we could proceed to a new app upgrade and when Huawei can grant us that access credentials will keep on working for european/western region's users ..
Regards,
Gabo
i made no rollback, so when i get the app update, i will let you know here...

so for now the only solution is to uninstal "huawei mobile services" from google play store, then install it again. You should end with version 2.5.3.301. This version wokrs well.
After login you will be prompted to update wia in app update to 2.5.2.302, but DON´T install it (just select later) because this version is the cause of the login problem.
Just wait for version above 2.5.3.302.

Now Huawei ID is prompting to upgrade to version 2.5.3.302. So, could I try to install this release?
EDIT: I answer by my own. ... I did it, and actually the last version (2.5.3.302) works flawlessly.
Thank you.
... and merry Xmas.

Just updated HMS internally to version 2.5.3.302 and it seems to be working. So perhaps the app required a rollback first then upgrade.

Security Patch from September 2018?
Looks like your phone got bugged. Go to your local service center and if you got warranty they will Fix it for free
I had this issue with my P20 Pro installing the last update. Corrected the issue by downloading Hisuite and installing the last update again via the PC.
Install HiSuite on your PC and follow the instructions to connect your phone.
I carried out a backup just in case first, then Click the system update. You should have the option to update available. ( if not do a roll back and reinstall after )
Once downloaded and installed your phone will do the usual restarts, twice I think hopefully thats your issue resolved.
I have the samme issue, can i go back to 9.0.0.295?

The HiSuite does let you roll back but I've not used that function.
HiSuite does not allow me to update or restore
Can I always update via hisuite, with version 9.1.325 to resolve? Or first I have to do the restore
Try to install system using erecovery, that helped me
Any ideas on how to get firebase notifications going ? i have set up GMS successfully with Googlifier but not notifications .
No at the moment you don't. I installed GMS via Googlefier and cannot receive push notifications from Gmail, Calendar (or any Apps that uses Google Play-Service Push notifications API). Microsoft Authenticator won't work also, as the above-mentioned is missing from the GMS installed by Googlefier.
Luckily, WhatsApp push works.
So i managed to get push notifications going again by redoing setup and then freezing GSF with Multi tool - YAY!
Last bit of the puzzle is that i seem to be stuck on the .121 software which i downgraded to so i could get Google going - now when i click check for update on the phone or in Hisuite, it doesnt show any new updates (i was on .184 before downgrading). any ideas why?
Progress though

Software updater doesn't work anymore once you reflash using hisuite proxy. Your only way to upgrade now is to rely on hisuite proxy

Seems liked i have wrecked my device - i forced an update to .182 using hisuite proxy and hisuite. now the phone boots up is fine for 20-30 seconds and then just reboots. any ideas how to fix?

You used the wrong version for your device.
Go to settings about phone and see if you still have your IMEI. If it's empty then you corrupted your modem partition and you can't fix it.
If it's still there then boot yo eRecovery and do a reset and update.
