your knox trigger will be 1 and you wont be able to get your phone fixed even it would have a hw problem, there are many guides you can use to root and install custom rom. you can check many roms with samsung health or apps you need . if you are willing to do it, you need OEM lock unlock option available in developer settings and you need to enable it, then install twrp and flash a zip for you to remove encrypt on data. you can check out @dr.ketan s rom. he has a guide in his thread which can help you in many steps.
this is his thread. https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...t/29-09-17-dr-ketan-rom-jio-volte-n1-t3681163
also make sure you post your questions in q&a section.

Looks like you need to input your device's IMEI number back in again.
Nope Samsung stopped that from happening on android pie. It now checks for that.
What I read you have to root your phone and replace your service.jar file with the older version for dual sim to work.
But you'll lose Knox and Knox related stuff (Samsung pay, secure folder) so read before you'll root.
Hopefully down the road someone will find a non-root method.

If you really need it you can go back to oreo.
edit:
This will require a factory reset though....

Same thing has happened to me and I am now perplexed how to restore my phone back.
Can you please inform how did you recover your phone to have Modem, IMEI and signal back - as I have lost them while doing a factory update of samsung stock 9 Pie image.

Hi guys, thank you for your appreciated work.
Please I would like to know if are there any possibilities you could develop official TWRP for help me with this:
How to edit Build.prop, to activate android multiuser safely, for phone model Samsung note 9 sm-n9600.
Is it possible?
I want to activate multiuser option and Samsung has disabled it, and root this phone is not recommended for me because I just need this option, so the only chance I could have is using ADB with official recovery compatible with Samsung and its model sm-n9600, as for example TWRP, and modify the Android system editing Build.prop system archive with ADB.
Thank you, I even pay for this possibility because I bought this phone for use it with separate accounts for work, normal use, games...
I thought this phone works as a tablet with s-pen, and to be honest, I would not buy it if I had known this can not do it.
I just want to activate multiuser option that comes with Android and Samsung has disabled it, I am very angry with Samsung, How can they to disable capabilities in a high level phone.
Thanks a lot everybody.
Could any master help me or suggest me a solution?
I am normal user not a developer, so I need a tutorial please.
