hi everyone! i have at&t moto x 2014 xt1097 curruntly at stock 5.1 with locked bootloader. i want to update it with stock marshmallow firmware but can't find it at the motofirmware centre (at least not for at&t version). any help will be appreciated.
There is no at&t marshmallow firmware.
If you did not accept the security updates from October (Android security patch level 2016-08-01), then you can use Kingroot and Sunshine ($ 25) to temp-root and bootloader unlock your device, and install some non-at&t firmware, see Root and Bootloader Unlock AT&T XT1097 on 5.1.
If you're device is patched, then this path is closed and you are out of luck.

unfortunately i have the updates installed. i heard that to install any motorola stock firmware the only requirment was unlocked bootloader. do i have to root too? or just unlock bootloader?
Your information is correct. But you cannot simply unlock this bootloader. The At&t xt1097 bootloader cannot be unlocked through the Motorola service.
I unlocked my Nokia 8's bootloader using @the_laser 's method. Now I'll receive April security patch anytime. My question is, should I apply it or skipping it is the best decision? Also, can I relock my bootloader in anyway?

Yep relock works, but your phone wipes again.
If you don't have root, I think you can update the security patch. I did it without root and open bootloader.
Nokia 8 unlocked bootloader!
You could take any ota with unlocked bootloader only if you didn't modify any system file (modified recovery or phone rooted)
Hi..
Can i downgrade my H9L to older version.
Now iam running 8.0.0.133(LLD L21) with november security path.
Reason to downgrade for unlock my bootloader.
Because in dc unlocker my security path doesn't support.
I don't have money to request code from read imei.
So i just can buy 4 credit to unlock via read bootloader code.
Sorry for very bad english
I read somewhere that you can not unlock the Bootloader on any Huawei devices if you have the January 2019 Security Patch Update. Also you can not rollback or flash previous updates. Is this true? I did get my unlocking code before they closed the website. But I did unlock my Bootloader at that moment. So is it still possible to unlock my device?
Thanks.

I tried downgrading my Huawei p8 lite 2017 to Android 7 so I would be able to partition my SD Card as mixed Storage, but the System Updater stops at 5% and the Update fails.
Thats why I assume, that you can not downgrade, but I haven’t had the chance to use HiSuite (maybe this would have done the trick).
Unfortunally I can’t really help you in the bootloader unlocking part, because I don’t have a bootloader unlock code and my old code fails(had to relock my bootloader after bootloop in August 2018).
But I think you should try unlocking if you haven’t already and you have no problem with data loss.
If your phone is boot looping try:
-shutting phone off
-[Dangerous]put phone in freezer for 2-3 minutes (I don’t know why, but this seems to help my phone)
-turning phone back on
still in bootloop: You have to relock the bootloader
---Why My Phone Got Stuck In Boot Loop---
I always had that theorie, that my phone got stuck in bootloop, because I didn’t reboot after unlocking and instantly flashed twrp.
I think there was an error while installing twrp, wich I didn’t notice.
Can someone share the unlock code for Huawei PRA-LA1?
every phone has another code, why you need it?
That's right, you read it right. i unlocked my Verizon Pixel 3 XL bootloader
Android 10 has beta sign up. So I signed up and started the update download. I did NOT install the update. Then I checked my developer options and Unlock Bootloader was accessable.
I checked unlock bootloader and was able to follow the instructions here
warning do not install magyst!!! i went into a boot loop
Nice, what security patch were you on while you triggered the OEM unlock Option? July, August patch? Just curious
