Hello
Could somebody please send me/post here an apk of svoiceprovider from galaxy note 8? Has to be for android 6. For those who do not know it is the app installed with aamsung gear app as a support.
Much appreciated

Note 8 never came with Android 6.
That is probably the reason I have so much trouble, it is a custom rom made to look like note 8, but I think they used note 7 rom as a base now. So I probably need a note 7 svoiceprovider app?

Note 7 did come with 6.0.1. There are 2 versions on apkmirror.com, not sure if one of them will work for you, both are listed as Android 5 for target though.

I am going to try it out, will post the result.
I'm running 6.0.1 on my Note 5 but I don't have that apk. But then again the rom on my Note 5 is stock debloated & I've never had Samsug Gear connected to it.

Gear is probably not a system app in any samsung, you download it from samsung store and it downloads everything else, including svoiceprovider. And the one from apkmirror seems to be too old, it crashed on svoice request.

I have the Nexus 5 with MIUI rom and working flawlessly with my Gear 1
Before the N5 I had the Oppo Find 5 and was working good also .
With MIUI rom I like that the phone asks me from where I want to pick up the incoming call (speakerphone, gear or internal speaker)

I used Oppo Find 5 with gear 1 (null rom) and N5 with gear 1 (tizen). I am happier with tizen .. Battery life is really better and it does what it should do !
I finally get my gear 1 working with Miui =D if some of you want to know how to do it just tell me and i will show you how, i think that method should work with another kind of roms

I have a note 3 and obviously a gear running null, if you don't mind a quick outline of what you did would be appreciated. Finding conflicting information. Interested in installing cyan but should be close to the same steps. Thanks

What version of miui are you running v5 v6? What device are you using? Are you on a stock gear? Android or tizen? And lastly, how did you connect the watch with your device?
how to
Man no need to send 100$ to anybody
Just download a custom rom from note 4 exynos section and flash it from twrp
Make all setups then download xposed generic one from arter97's thread and flashed it from from twrp then install xposed apk thats it.

I don't know your phone specifically, but probably a lot easier to download an already deodexed rom from the phone's development section. Then flash it in recovery

What exactly not compatible with Note4?
Note 4 is 64bit device and not 32bit
Second did you try it on your Note4?

I double checked just now in case I was missing something.
1. again, the Note 4 is NOT 64bit
http://www.trustedreviews.com/opinions/why-being-non-64-bit-kills-the-galaxy-note-4-s-futureproofing
2. my Note 4 is still on kitkat for a little while longer while the dust in the lollipop scene settles
3. if I were on 5.1.1 then no I would not try this because the developers explicitly labeled it as arm64 (that's 64bit)
I flashed using this zip: xposed-v72-sdk21-arm.zip
And now when I start my phone its stuck at the at&t screen, please help, ima noob at this but want to use my phone...
How would i fix this?
First by providing us information like what device you have. Why you chose a very old xPosed (72 when the latest is 86). What android version.
Android version: 6.0.2
I have a Samsung s7 edge with at&t
SM-G935A
I used a old version because I didn't know which one to use...

There is so many facepalm in here. You just randomly flashed some stuff because you don't know what you do.
First of all, you need a special version of Xposed as the regular one causes bootloops on Samsung devices (this information is even written in red text in the thread from where you got the files). The correct version for your device can be found by searching XDA for "Xposed Samsung wanam". Read instructions carefully before continuing.

well you probably should have said that then
Replace wanam in the post you quoted with arter97
Edit
Unless the random ROM you do mention (no I won't look it up for you if it is or isn't) is not based on touchwiz (stock samsung)
First, SDK23 is for Marshmallow(6.0).
Second, you're running TouchWiz, which means you require a version located here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3180960

Then you have your answer
I hope someone can answer this: I cannot get any of the 7.1.1 roms to work I get to the point where it asks for a network(tried multiple networks from work and home) and after that it says checking for update. Nothing happens. If I skip the step and then click google play app it tells me it cannot connect to googles servers, try again later. It refuses to let me add my google account as well, stating the same error about googles servers.
If i flash lineage 6.0 and open gapps, I never have that issue and can use google apps. Has anyone had this issue, or maybe a solution?
I've been searching through google for answers all day and none of the solutions help
Have you flashed any bootloader/modem.zip?
Tried flashing before trying new modems and after. Strangest thing I've ever ran into

Not sure if this is a good place to ask but how would you rate the Le S3? I was debating on whether to get the Le S3 or the Blu One X2 for my son for his birthday. Any input would help.

Reading Amazon reviews people complain about the bloatware. Is it possible to debloat. Also is there a stable rom for this device? I'm also debating on just buying a Note 4. Do you know how this phone compares to the Note 4?

Samsung note 4 is too old now but for how much you are getting it?
In stock ROM you need root and systemapp remover from playstore to remove bloatware.

I got the Le s3. It's a nice little phone for 150. I was going to get a Note 4 for about the same. My Note 4 got killed by my 2 year old a few months back. I just knew the Note 4s hardware ran almost everything without a hitch still.

Check your build.prop, you'll find a line simillar to this:
ro.build.version.min_supported_target_sdk=23
Change the number 23, to something like 7, save, and reboot.
Then try to open the game.
Also, have you gave the game all permissions?
Sometimes older games crash when they miss a single permission.
