Yes, this ROM is stable. A5 device tree is used because A3 and A5 is very similar so it is fine to use A5 device tree.
However, if there are bugs(other than the ones mentioned in OP), please report and state your A3 variant and provide logs, so the developer can fix them and make a better build.

AICP is known by everyone as the "Ice Cold Project" that started on a Desire HD years ago (2012) and since then has evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community that you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, the Rom has always been based on AOKP. Unfortunately, since AOKP stopped development (but made a comeback later), we changed our base to CM.
With the re-brand of CM to LineageOS (LAOS) we are now LAOS based with some tweaks from AOSP.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them out or the LAOS team will if it concerns their code base. This rom isn't LAOS supported, so no need to report errors/bugs to them!!

Use 8.0 pico gapps. Worked fine for me.

You must flash Gapps with ROM otherwise you will have issues and I also tested pico and it worked fine

I've tried all the gapps but i do not work..you can you kindly say the procedure?

Hi, first of all are you using flat or Edge? Second http://opengapps.org/ go there click ARM64 then 8.0 then picco and download.

I had this too - try to install as follows:
- wipe data/system/cache/dalvik in twrp
- install only the rom
- reboot to rom
- restart into twrp
- install gapps pico
- reboot to rom
- install new google services apk from apkmirror
- then you can ad an google account
- if you leave playstore and remove it from recent apps you will never be able to run playstore again
- fc from google play services often comes up

For me the second boot after GApps install worked fine. The only annoing thing is that if once closed you're not able to start playstore again - that means you must install all your apps in one withhin the playstore or download them via apkmirror.

Great work. I tried it. Everything works perfectly. These are the two best roms, crDroid and AOSCP. On them I get 13-15 hours of screen work. This is a very good result. Do not leave support. You are good dev and man. Thanks for your work :хорошо:

yes its present

This rom rocks, flashed it then installed microg. Everything is working fine ?, ram and battery on this rom is beast. Viper4androidfx is working great via magisk module. Stock camera no error. Gonna test more.

1. Download the ROM
2. Download GAPPS
3. Go to recovery and TAKE A NANDROID BACKUP
4. WIPE SYSTEM,DATA,CACHE AND DALVIK CACHE if coming from any other ROM. When i post updates wipe only cache and dalvik cache
5. Flash ROM, GAPPS and magisk installer if you want playstore as certified
6. Reboot

[*] USB charging mode ain't working. Go to developer option and default usb configuaration and from there change it!! Voila!!

If it is a random reboot, grab kmsg/dmesg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)

Can you rebase this twrp by rectifying the issues with the stock ROM. Push the fixes to the twrp gerrit so that all issues are fixed. Twrp will woek Even with 4.9 kernels like lineageOs. This is bases on 3.18 using Daniels sources right?
