PLEASE HELP with my XT1049 won't turn on - Moto X Q&A

My Moto X was working fine until I tried to attach a pic in a message through Chrome and it kept showing me an error that Chrome has stopped working, so I decided to reboot the phone. First, it was rebooting non-stop, after 20 min of optimizing apps it would start all over again. I let the battery drain with that. The phone was off, I turned it on and now it wouldn't go past the starting screen (with Moto logo and graphics), after that it goes completely black. I can access Fastboost mode but after I pick any of it (recover or regular reload or even factory recovery) it shows a logo for a few seconds and then goes black. All I need is to recover my photos and videos from it? Any advice? Please help!

[Q] I need your help with my Nexus One

My Nexus One working very well, but on one day, the battery empty, it shutting down. I going to my home, try to charging it, turn it on.
The screen turned on, display boot logo like 'X' digit. Next, it show the digital 'X' logo with four colors and never stop (case 1), no transfer to anything else or boot on user interface at all.
I have try to restore firmware, reset facity.
It working, I got my phone again, can call, do everything ( remember the phone now empty data, just like new one ). But after some minutes, it automatic restart and showing the digital 'X' logo with four colors again (like case 1).
Again, I take out battery, wait and plug it in, turned on, still show the case 1. Next, I try to restore my firmware again, it working. But after some minutes, the case 1 repeat.
I don't really know how to fix it.
If you're using a stock ROM - looks like a HW problem. Send the phone to HTC.

[Q] 2nd Gen Moto G Screen Turning OFF at Login

I own a second gen Moto G and I've only had it for a few months. It got some superficial surface cracks at the beginning but nothing harmful to the phone.
Today, I was adjusting the brightness on my phone as normal (it was working normally before) when the display turned to black. The screen was still responsive, but the screen was off.
I've restarted the device multiple times. The display works perfectly with no problems during the boot up and it shows the boot screen clearly. When it gets to the screen where I enter my password, the display turns to black and becomes completely unresponsive.
Can anyone help me? Thanks.
Edit: I put the phone into recovery mode and was met with the "no command" screen for a few minutes before the screen turned on, booted up, and turned off again (turns off slowly, as if the power button is pressed).
2nd edit: put the phone into factory recovery mode and the same happened as above. This also happens when plugged into charger. The phone still receives updates and vibrates and the notification light still turns on.
When I bricked my moto g I used this http://www.droidviews.com/restore-moto-g-2014-to-stock-and-lock-the-bootloader/

[Q] Stuck in Bootloop at Google logo

My Verizon Nexus 6 has never been rooted or had any sort of rom, it has always been stock. I just updated to 5.1.1. My Google Play Music app wouldn't work, so I rebooted my phone. Now it is in a bootloop, and gets to the Google logo, but the spinning dots don't show up. It eventually powers off and reboots after about 15 or 20 seconds and repeats the process. I have gone into the bootloader menu by holding the power button and volume down, and the options give:
Start gives google logo and goes into bootloop
Restart Bootloader puts me back into the bootloader, where I can choose more options
Recovery Mode gives google logo and goes into bootloop
Power Off turns phone off, turning it on puts it into bootloop
Factory (as in factory reset, I'm assuming) gives me the google logo and goes into bootloop. It does not perform a factory reset, it gets stuck before it even gets to that option.
Barcodes shoes the barcodes for imei and whatnot
BP Tools gives me google logo and goes into bootloop
QCOM gives me google logo and goes into bootloop
So what am I able to use to recover my phone? I mostly want to get my pictures and texts off. My pics are backed up on google, but not at original quality, so everything is compressed. I have some backups of texts, but there are some recent and important texts on it. Other than texts and original pics, everything is on the cloud, so that's fine. I'll be totally happy to get texts and pics and then factory reset, and I'll be satisfied to get just texts or my picture files and then factory, and I would accept just the use of my phone.
I have not unlocked the bootloader or rooted or put on custom ROMS, so I am not really familiar with that, but I suspect that there are software interfaces that should allow me to access the file system of my phone. Also, I'm not that familiar with android abbreviations, so please spell stuff out where possible.

[help] phone won’t turn on, black screen of death, stuck on boot.

I just want to say first thank you for taking the time to read my story and helping.
Phone gets stuck on boot logo.
Before the phone died i was laying a game and playing a youtube video in the background and was getting a call through facebook messenger.
Then game freezed or crashed then tried to soft reset which worked sorta then when it came back i saw the no sim notif up top the status bar and i can’t seem to turn on wifi and a system ui not working popped up i chose close instead wait. Can’t remember if I turned it off or if it turned itself off.
I can access the volume up+down+power bootloader and the recovery menu.
I don’t want to factory reset as i have no back up and I don’t know how to recover deleted data and I fear everything won’t be recovered.

Phone stuck on boot loop and won't turn on

Phone got frozen while in Messenger, suddenly turned off and now it's stuck on boot loop. Holding volume down and power button does nothing, keeps it on boot loop. When I put it on charging, it heats up, but the charging logo does not show.
Anyone got any clue what might be the problem or how to solve it?
did you receive any pictures via messenger ? that used to be a thing that messed up phones because of one colour outside most phones RGB range.
a bootloop is a cycle, catch it at the right time and you can boot into recovery to clear cache and dalvik.
remember recovery and download mode need the cable plugged into a USB device to nowadays.
the instant the screen goes off hold volume up and power and then plug the cable into the phone (the other end already being in the PC).
if you did receive a file before your problem that'll still be there and the problem might persist. you might need to boot up into safe mode and delete something.
The phone got frozen at the main screen of Messenger, haven't received any messages or pics.
The thing I haven't mentioned but dk if it means anything, sometimes it gets to the Samsung logo, but then it goes off and turns back on.
Tried to hold volume up and power button couple of times, sometimes it would do a strong vibration and then do nothing, but I'll keep on trying.
Thanks for ur help

don't forget the USB cable, you can't manually boot recovery without it.

if you don't mind losing messages next time you could try clearing data on the messages app. you'd need to be pretty quick by the sound of it.
