Has anyone replaced the battery on their x526?
Where did you procure it?
Did you replace it yourself or did you go through a service center?
When I bought the x526 18 months ago, I was getting 8h-10h of SOT (browsing on LTE, light gaming) with EUI. A few months before the warranty expired, I installed LOS 14.1 and I still got 7-8h for my use case. These days, SOT ranges between 3-5h. I installed Accubattery 2-3 months ago which currently says the battery capacity is at 85% of the original 3000mAh, but I suspect it is much lower.
No one here has done a battery replacement on your LeEco Le 2?!
3500 mah..
there's an unofficial battery in aliexpress 3500 mah..

It's the same as if you want to change the display.
But you have to be more careful, because you don't want to break the display.
It depends on your skills if it is possible at home.
8-10 hours of SOT. Are you kidding me? My x526 never gave more than 6 hours of SOT ever since I bought it 2 years ago.

Has anyone tried this battery for the HD7? If so, is it any better than the stock one?
mugen-power-batteries.com/mugen-power-1300mah-extended-battery-for-htc-hd7-t-mobile-9292.html
Hi.
Ordered yesterday, shipped today.
It will take approximately 10 days, so we have to wait for a response.
Paid 32€ (free shipping via Registered Air Mail and a little discount code found via google).
See you soon, I hope
Marco
Well refer to this , mugen is not really 1500 mah.
Htc original batteries have a charge limitation. It charges only to 80%!
Mugen does not
So mugen lasts 20% extra , but still 1230 mah

OK, here we are.
The battery arrived about a week ago.
Until now I did 6-7 charges; only one (the second I guess) from a fully discharged condition.
The verdict: I would not say that the battery is worth its price; HD7 has gained about 2 hours of extra battery life (compared with the "original" 24 continuative hours, obtained with the 1yr old original battery).
NOTE: i'm using the HD7 with cooked ROMs (Deepshining and Nextgen+).
Bye, Marco.

So I decided to buy this extended battery. Its for the Galaxy W, but it fits the Exhibit as well. Comes with a case and usb cable. The phone wasn't as thick as I thought it would be, its about double thickness. Only downside is that it is very smooth, not tactile grip. It took about 2.5 weeks to get here from China. I thought I would post some data from the first 24 hrs.
Almost 2.5 hrs of screen time which was mostly browsing, and maybe 15 mins of gaming. I also tethered to my laptop for nearly 3 hours. I still have 50% of the battery left! I have to say this battery is quite good. :victory:
I am using CM10, I found it has better battery life over the other roms.
36 Hour Update
Nearly 3.5 hrs of screen time, over 36 hours with 38% battery still left! Total usage so far was light browsing (reddit sync), 20-25 mins of games, 3 hours of tethering, 2 phone calls, and push notifications (sports scores).
I've had this battery for a few months now. In fact, my phone has been on standby for 50 continuous days with this battery (it's sitting at about 40 percent remaining)! It's a great buy for those desperately needing a day or two of power.

Someone suggested getting an extended battery here for this phone.
Hey can you post a picture of the phone itself maybe next to a ruler or something? Does the case fit on perfectly? (since its made for the W)
Thanks
Ok so i figured i should post this here.... I just purchased a 2450 mah battery from ebay. It looks... well lets just say more than "a bit sketch". But check it out. I should get in in 2 weeks-ish.

I purchased this battery. I test with nova battery tester to compare with my old 1500 mah i had since 15 month. It give me maybe 30% more power.... ( 1500 mah * 1.30 =1950mah) but.. 2 week later my old battery died (my phone close at 30%) it possible my old battery had less power than 1500 mah....
After that i don't think this battery is better than a stock 1500 mah or maybe i receive a fake 2450 mah... and it really possible to have a 2450 gold battery with a other seller.
Yea so my battery came a couple of days ago... im pretty sure i got ripped off; it performs just like the stock battery so im assuming all they did was put a different sticker on it...

cant find anybig cases to fit this extended battery
Hey guys! So I am having now turning 3 years old Xiaomi Mi3. It is still working pretty good with all these roms we've got credit to the great developers we have at XDA. The only problem I'm having is with the battery life. Previously it would last whole day. Now I'm charging it thrice daily.
So I ordered a new battery and replaced it.
The problem is at around 20 % of the battery, the phone died suddenly and when I put it in charging it flashed the notification light as if the battery is completely drained. Mind it that after replacement, I straight away charged the battery to 100% and then calibrated using battery calibration app by Nema.
After the phone died, I put it in offline charging and didn't reboot the phone until it was totally charged and then rebooted. It is now working fine!
The battery is holding better than what I was having but still, it goes down easily.
I am a heavy user! Lots of browsing, ebooks, emails, whatsapp, camera, etc.
Is anything else needed to be done.?
I am currently on second battery cycle of the new battery. Right now I got 2 hours 10 min SOT and 45% still left.
I am pretty sure, even this is not going to last the whole day as it used to do once back when the phone was new!
BTW am on NOS and it is pretty stable and generally always on 3g.
Please advise!
If you got the battery from official service center only then expect it to work as it used to do when the phone was new. Batteries from eBay, amazon and other websites won't give backup as the original one does because they aren't original ones, typically such batteries have 60% backup when compared to original one.

The thing is that the service center guy tells me that they have stopped importing parts of Xiaomi Mi3. I tried it in another center, they told me that it will cost 1500Rs for the battery and 600Rs for installation and service charges.
So I got it from ebay at 300Rs and replaced myself.
Probably you are right and this won't be giving any improvement to me! I just gave it a try so that I can wait for a month or so for newer phone launches. But I guess I have to rely more on charger than on battery
got a new battery for 300₹ from ebay..replaced it myself..3 yrs is more than enough from a single battery..battery backup ki great..m getting around 4.5-5hrs of SOT..probably which i was getting when i bought this phone..currently on DU. i am on wifi almost all the time.

Can you post a link?Does the device shut off at 20% battery?
Also can you check the battery temperature while charging? The one I bought from ebay never goes above 25.
Hi, Lately I've noticed my battery draining very fast. Like 50% in 4 hours. So I installed accubattery to further see why. After a while it states my battery capacity has dropped to 80%. I've been experiencing miserable battery backup ever since. Do I need to change my battery?
When did u buy it and how often do you charge it?

Hi, I am also experiencing bad battery life, I'm on OOS 5.0.6 without root (stock kernel). Last month I was still on Nougat OOS and battery was fine, so I would go ahead and guess oreo is eating a lot of battery, also you can try and switch to 2G network, I was on 4G and mobile signal was not good and drain was higher then when I switched to 2G.
See pictures for info
I tried oneplus page "repair phone" so they change my battery but no answer from them (send the request on 19.11.2018.)
I'm in the same boat. Bought mine somewhere in the first months of last year (January maybe?) and based on 35 charging sessions my battery is now on 79% of the original charge (2701 of 3400 mAh). I'm thinking of sending it to repair service and pay to get it replaced because the battery life is noticeably worse even with the NLOS ROM and MicroG.
My 3T will be 2 years old next month. I was facing serious battery issues so after searching a lot, I installed Accubattery and let it analyse my battery usage for a few days. I found out my battery had been degraded to around 77%( no wonder I had to charge my phone ATLEAST 3 to 4 times for a 24-hour endurance, iwas on stock oxygen oreo with franco kernel).
THis july, i got my battery replaced(June END for Rs800 INR) and now i am on OOS NOUGAT(way more BATTERY FRIENDLY and throttles less compared to crappy unoptimised OOS OREO we got).
Battery was fine and lasted more than i needed for PUBG MOBILE. but within a few months, BUT only after 5 months battery quality has degraded to 82% again!!!!
PS:1st image is before getting new battery.

I bought my 3T in December 2016, lately I have been noticing a lot of battery drain (everything stock and latest OOS). I have to charge my phone at least 2-3 times a day. However, I have been streaming a lot of video (chromecast) and audio (bt earphones) so I am guessing that could be the culprit. Netflix on chromecast is especially hell for battery life.

Get your battery replaced from original service center
I would take the battery health % with a grain of salt. Batteries hardly every have their advertised full capacity, even straight from the factory. I remember a thread from a while back (older devices - it's been a few years) where an XDA'er tested multiple batteries (factory condition) from various OEM manufacturers, as well as reputable 3rd party batteries. Hardly any met the advertised capacity. Something like 80-95% is about as good as you can expect. Maybe folks on here have some more device specific, and/or more recent data. And obviously, if you took the readings when the phone was new; you'd have a good start point. But the reading now doesn't mean a whole lot. Could have only been 80-90% to begin with. And replacing the battery may be a waste of money and effort.

I bought it april 2017, So That's 20 months now. Usually I charge to full every morning and some at nights depending on my usage. Untill 2 Weeks ago I charged every 6 or 8 hours (while I had the battery drain, happened for about 2 Weeks ) . Last week i moved from open beta to stable and wiped everything. While it's not as critical as before, Phone holds charge Better when screen is off but I still have worse screen on times. Now I don't charge above 90%.

Does this mean that you were charging the phone every time till over 85% and in general you were leaving the device plugged to charger for many hours?
If this happened for long time, then for sure the battery has been degraded.

I don't know what you mean. Check here and select BM4E.
Fixed 4 phones with those so far.
One of those phones (OnePLus 8) crapped out after a year. Turns out nohon batteries are *not* taking fast charging well. For slow charging phones (15/22W), they seem ok so far.
Expect 5-10% worse capacity than original battery. Which is a pretty good number as far as aftermarket batteries go.

I got the battery sealed few months ago around April or May, but I installed it just recently at Friday to my device. I cannot give that info but they have 6months warranty and I am pretty sure will last more than 1 year.
At this point I think it's your best choice tbh.

November 2021 I think. The phones (iPhone 8, Samsung S9, Redmi 8 Note Pro) seem to run all fine, perhaps the batteries are aging slightly faster, but I expect em to last at least 1-2 years or so more.
That 1+8 which just crapped out fairly recently - battery swelled and started losing capacity rapidly and eventually refused to charge completely. All in span of a month after a year of running ok.
The owner of that phone was using its warp charging (0% to 50% under 30 minutes, daily) pretty heavily, which is what ruined the original battery in the first place (that one had around 70% after <2 years).
Okay thank you,,seems it's best option available now
Anyone know how i can get it from Germany ? AliExpress say it's not available to your country
I've been using a Nohon Battery in my Poco F1 since last April. Currently it is at about 80/81% capacity. I don't know if it's within the average wear range, but I thought it was a little fast, I don't know. Fast charge works great, battery life has been better, I've been changing ROMs lately, but I think it's standard. I bought it through Alliexpress and I received it here in Brazil in a month + or -
What I really wanted was to buy an original from Xiaomi, but here in Brazil they simply don't sell it. I've already read someone here saying that in India they sell the original, but unfortunately there's no way to import it here to my country. If anyone knows how I can get an original nateria, I'd appreciate it. But Nohon has served me very well.

The original battery in my case lost 10% capacity every 10 months, down to 80% by the 20 month mark (little over 600 battery cycles ) and further reduced to 65% in 30 months. Would have been higher but for bypass charging which I figured out how to enable just after 20 months. The new official battery is down to 92% after 8 months despite bypass charging being enabled from the very beginning (just 79 battery cycles ).

After reaching the desired battery charge level say 60% as long as the device is plugged it draws power from the AC Mains instead of the battery and the battery discharges even by 1%. This is actually the default behavior if the device is charged to 100%. Of course full charge and plugged in is not great from battery longterm health POV so root is necessary to tweak permissions of a couple of files to reduce the max. battery charging voltage which effectively caps the maximum battery charge level. No micro-cycles in contrast to Smart Charging which is anyway incompatible with bypass charging.
P.S. According to some this isn't true bypass charging whatever that means. However after replacing the battery I had used the device plugged in for most of 10 days and the battery cycle count increased by 1. Baikal OS since A12 at least included this feature OOTB. Root wasn't necessary but SELinux was Permissive. I don't know which is a greater vulnerability from security POV.

One F1 user had good things to say about a third-part battery bought from eBAY UK.... I kinda regret not buying a 2nd replacement battery when they were being sold dirt cheap by Xiaomi India mid-last year. Some months later spare parts incl. the battery have been permanently discontinued.
