Trouble accessing Google Assistant Settings - Huawei P20 Pro Questions & Answers

Greetings all,
I am trying to customize my Google Assistant such as preferences/routines through the Google Assistant settings. However, whenever I try to access the Google Assistant settings either through the Google Home app (via control of my Google Home Mini) or Settings > Google > Search > Google Assistant Settings, nothing happens or the screen will flash for an instant but remain on the same screen.
Is anybody else facing the same problem? Any workaround? Very annoying as I am just to personalize my Assistant so that it can work well with my Home Mini.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I've experiencing the issue in my p20 Pro. Very annoying especially when coming from a Google Pixel. A Factory reset resolved it for a few hours.

Has anyone had issues with Google Now FC when long-pressing home button?

Not sure when it started. I've cleared cache (can't see a way to clear data for this app that doesn't remove search data etc).
I think it happened when google assistant became available. I enabled google assistant which replaced google now as the app launched after pressing home button and google assistant launches fine.

Samsung & Google App Integration Questions

Hi Guys,
I just got a Note 8 and absolutely love everything about it. Coming from the 6P, I was worried about not having the stock Android experience, but Samsung apps are up to par with Google's if not slightly better.
HOWEVER...
I do use the Google ecosystem (mainly Google Drive) and have a few questions about integrating Samsung and Google apps to provide a more seamless experience.
1. When I use Bixby to search for something on Google (ex. Hi Bixby, Google the meaning of life), Bixy would open Samsung Internet to search on Google. I've went into Settings > Apps > Bixby and made sure it's not the default app for anything. Is there a way to have Bixby use Chrome instead?
2. When I use Bixby to set a reminder, it's saved into the Samsung Reminders app. When I use Google Assistant to set a reminder, it saves it into the Google app. Is there a way to default this so that Bixby saves it to the Google app? The reason being is because I use Google Inbox app, which also displays my reminders. But it doesn't show reminders saved in Samsung Reminders
Any advice appreciated!

Short answer no. I use both Google assistant and Bixby.

Do you use Bixby reminders? I've had a few instances where I forgot to do something because I was not around my phone to have Bixby alert me...
Had it been synced to Google Reminders, I would've known since I was on my Macbook, which has the Inbox app.....
Anyone know alternative solutions? Wish Samsung Reminder could sync with Google Reminders
1. Ok Google
2. Remind me to do.....at .....
Done
Can't you set Bixby up to do a specific task. When you ask Bixby to do something you briefly get the window afterword that give you options to "teach me how". I would try that, maybe you can get your results, or watch YouTube for sakiteck and his Bixby tutorials and there is a way to set a command to do a list if things.

Xiaomi Mi A2 Google Calendar problem

Hello everybody.
I have big problem with google calendar
After last update (phone, calendar app) the app isn´t working. My reminders get "stuck". I can´t open the reminders, can´t hide them in calendar, event images doesn´t load, nothing. Do someone know, how to fix this? Thanks for help!!
Same here, really sucks big time
Same problem here and the latest Google calendar update didn't fix this. A factory reset didn't solve it either. Also google assistant newsfeeds don't play anymore. Google podcast app didn't load feeds, but that seems fixed for now. Lots of little hickups in other Google apps, crashing Chrome browser etc. These same apps work fine on other phones which aren't on the latest security update. Therefore I suspect it has something to do with the latest security update on the Xiaomi mi A2.

Ok Google detection / "Access with voice match" issues

Hello everyone,
I have set up 2 users on my Android, one user has no gsuite account and one user does have.
The Google assistant works perfectly on the main user without the gsuite account until I switch to the other user, of course because the Google assistant does not support gsuite.
However, I did not expect that this would affect the main user, because whenever I go back to the main user the Google assistant stops responding to access with voice match and sometimes also to squeeze actions.
Trying to go to settings to reactivate the "access with voice match" does not work.
This issue is resolved temporarily if I turn off and on the microphone access for "Google" and then turn on "access with voice match".
Any suggestions or workarounds to bypass this?

If your other account with GSuite is a work account, you can setup a work profile on the phone.
This is a Google issue that they have not fixed yet.

That's what I did, but when I go back to the regular profile (the owner user) the ok Google detection turns off, see the original post for explanation.

Use Google TTS over Google Assistant for non supported languages on Android 13 and AA with coolwalk feature?

When I use Android Auto, Google Assistant is used by Google Maps to navigate by voice command. Unfortunately, the Assistant doesn't support greek language just yet. The result is that the Assistant won't be able to understand the address I'm trying to navigate to.
I turn off the Assistant, under "Digital Assistant" on "Preferred apps" I select "None", however, when I click on the mic and say the address I want to navigate to, Google will resond to me with the Assistant's voice that it's not sure, if it understands what I am saying.
I used to have TTS enabled, which worked flawlessly on navigation on Android Auto, but, since I received the coolwalk feature, I am unable to fully disable the Assistant and use Google TTS over it. Is there any workaround about this problem? Pixel 6a owner here.
Update: It seems that my mic eventually works with Google TTS and not Google Assistant, after this workaround:
1) Fully disable Google Assistant under Settings -> Google -> Settings for Google applications -> Search, Assistant and Voice -> General -> Turn off Google Assistant,
2) Under preferred apps -> Digital Assistant, select "None",
3) Under Settings -> Applications -> Google Erase all data,
4) Restart Phone
5) Under Settings -> Google -> Settings for Google applications -> Search, Assistant and Voice -> Voice Select you native language as main, activate "Pronounced Results"
6) Under Settings -> Google -> Settings for Google applications -> Search, Assistant and Voice -> Language and area Select your language and afterwards you country.
I have performed multiple restarts and it has yet to turn to Google Assistant after I speak on mic on Android Auto. Hope it stays that way.
Read this post maybe it will help you.

I'm aware of this app, thanks, but I want Google TTS to be integrated with the mic, not a separate app. Besides, I used to have Google TTS enabled over Google Assistant, before I received the coolwalk feature on my Pixel 6a.
