It's decent, what's your current phone. If your current phone is from within 2016+ then I suggest to save the money until you can afford a latest flagship so you will get more for your money

Alright then if you can afford it go for it. 8.1 will be the last os for the 3t afaik, but obviously XDA developers will use their magic to make sure the 3t stays updated through custom ROMs.

It's a great tablet. Obviously I'm typing on it now.
It's gonna get KitKat, and it will hold you over for at least another year...

Buy. It.

That's a very good deal. It will be worth checking the price for 3G model, it's better to have it as data plans have become cheaper in India.

Got the 32GB Wifi model for 12k (INR) for my daughter's ninth birthday. Great deal, imho. Today's the last date of discounts, so I suggest any of you guys not sure about the purchase, make the jump!

Ughh, Yes? You should, because the Nexus 7 is one of the top android tablets on the market, that's including the old and new versions.

129 quid in the uk atm
@Mohdsultan..its still a very capable device. And 8999 is still a good price. Eventually it all boils down to what you want to use it for. If you want to use it on the move you are better off getting the 3g version

Imagine the OnePlus Two, if the One has as good build quality as its specs, do you think the Nexus of 2015 should be produced by OnePlus? I definitely think so!

I would personally like Moto-Lenovo and or HTC to produce it apart from that LG is already doing a great job..

Nope because i definately want different companies to build low priced phones, maybe HTC for next nexus phone but not oneplus, atleast i'll get more options to buy a cell phone within the same price range although oneplus looks promising but still why not give htc another chance

I think HTC is the only one I would buy right now too. If next Nexus truly is LG I'm passing. IDC about specs. I'm tired of RMA and shotty build quality. I at least know HTC would never allow such poor quality be released with their logo on it.

HTC. A metal unibody ala Nexus One would rock bigtime.

Yes +1 on HTC lol
The nexus one is still my favorite nexus ! Best looking one as well even with the trackball lol , HTC rocks! Nexus one and my touch 4g aka Glacier were the phones I've kept the longest

I'd personally prefer Moto/Lenovo not making one since they're pretty much there with their own devices, and apparently will be moving forward as well. Also, doesn't sound like this Oneplus device is amazing, but this is just one guy. Plus, he's referring a lot of his complaints around the software which the Nexus would replace anyway. That being said, I don't think I have seen any negative reviews about phones like the Moto X or the Nexus 5 so only time will tell how well Oneplus does.

There's plenty negative reviews on our speaker quality. That's pretty much the major flaw of this phone. Besides that the Nexus 5 is pretty solid if you didn't get a bad model. This is my first Nexus device and I enjoy it fully. Hoping the OnePlus One lives up to the hype. Oppo is known for its quality so I have really high hopes on that aspect.

Speculating about whether some new OEM should get the next Nexus doesn't have anything to do with this phone.

I stumbled across this because I have been googling for one since I got my phone and finally found one. Its not that much more powerful then the stock one but for the price its worth it. Check it out!

The actual capacity will be less than the stock one. For $15, why not just buy the stock one?

Because you can label any mah number on the battery.
It is common that 3rd party batteries inflate the capacity.
And 3rd parties usually have worse or no better battery technology so that it is nearly impossible for 3rd parties to put higher capacity in the same size.

Hey
I am fed up with the battery life (or lack of) of my Nexus 5X.
My fiance did pretty much the same but has a Huawei P9 lite.
By 9pm id already had to charge my battery! Yet she still had 30% left. We have same apps running, FB for example, I have push notifications off she doesn't. Same location settings only difference is I have NFC on for Android Pay.
Has anyone had a N5X and now a P9? Is the battery better?
Also, whats the Huawei Android update policy for the P9? I don't want a phone that by next year they wont do anymore updates.
Cheers
Choose ultra power saving mode in settings under battery.. your Huawei P9 will last few days in one charge....

Ultra mode provide only basis calls and messaging option.. I have chosen smart option which gives me good battery life. See screenshot attached.

How about the update policy? Do they guarantee updates for a few more years?

2 years updates for certain. Nougat is planned to be launched within next 2 months.
